Great place to host your dog and Sheba looks happy. One thing I absolutely don’t like about them is if my dog doesn’t eat all her food they throw it away. I didn’t experience this with other places similar. I’d like them to keep the left overs since I am not a woman of means yet! I’d like to keep the left overs and save them for the next meal but wag doesn’t do that, so only give what you want to give away and never see it again. Hopefully prayerfully your dog eats it all which my boo doesn’t always. Outside of this this place is friendly, caring, and look like they have fun with the dogs, I like that!

Staff and management is wonderful and very helpful and accommodating. Out 2 Labs love to go there. They get so excited to get in car and go. They are exhausted for 2 days after going to an all day play. Thank you management and staff for genuinely caring for our two girls Blu and Boston

We took advantage of the 50% off first boarding stay and it was great! The staff is super attentive and kind. We paid $25 extra per day for 12hr play time and it was completely worth it. We were able to watch our dog through a webcam all day, playing with other dogs. It was our first time boarding our dog and went perfectly. Highly recommend! Specifically the location in SF, Mission area.

We absolutely adore this Wag location! They treat our dogs like royalty and send us tons of pictures throughout the day. Their genuine love and care for our dogs is so apparent. I couldn't ask for a better place to leave my dogs during the day. Thank you guys so much.

Our dog LOVES this place! We travel fairly often and have trusted Wag SF for over a decade. The staff is exceptionally caring and we have always had a great experience. Safe play groups -we can check in on our dog via webcam while lounging on the beach. Peace of mind! Lodging is clean, comfortable, and our dog comes home happy. Loves play groups. Super clean.Highly recommended.

Our dog LOVES Wag! The staff are always friendly and caring. They know my dog’s name when we walk through the front door and she loves to greet the staff and other pups on site. Highly recommended!

Wags is my dogs home away from home! Not only are they 24 hours which allows me a flexible long work schedule, but to know they are loved and happy makes me happy! When we even approach wags my dogs are ready to leave me and go play they love it that much! I also love that I get multiple pictures to my WAGS app a day of their activities! Highly recommend

We have used the SF Wag Hotel for many years for several our dogs for both short- and long-term stays. From the way they have interacted with the desk staff, we believe they feel comfortable there with the humans who handle and are well-cared for. Their webcam is a nice feature to use when we travel. One of our German Shepherds is a hard-to-handle and high maintenance female, and I have been satisfied with how the Wag team treats her. The SF Wag is a very useful resource, and we've enjoyed interacting with different managers and dig handlers and groomers. We recommend them.

Wag SF has some of the best and most friendly people working there - and its honestly the best dog daycare in the city. They're super accommodating even for last minute daycare or boarding needs. My dog (high energy 7 y/o GSP) recently had a few consecutive days of all-day-play and came home exhausted (for the best of reasons), from making new friends and playing in the new rooftop outdoor area. They also send you pictures of the good times throughout the day! Wag SF will def be seeing us again soon!

Friendly staff and good customer service, hotel was clean. The 24/7 WagCam gave us great peace of mind. Daily staff updates via the app were great also. My doggies looked so happy during their stay!But do check your bill carefully and make sure staff knows the rules (specialized care is billed per room for roomates as stated on website and confirmed by corporate, not per pet unless they needed to be walked separately.) It took 5 phone calls for me to get it fixed.

I love Wags Hotel's All Day Play/Day Stay for my dog, Frankie. The staff there are nice. You can watch your pup on camera if you want to check in for all you anxious helicopter pet parents. They also send you pics of your pup throughout the day. 100% would recommend.

I am a very, let’s say “involved” dog mom — he’s the love of my life and I’m more particular about his environment than I am my own. The SF wag is the only place I will leave him when I travel or for daycare. I’ve sited many places and did not feel they were good enough.Gambit is not a “regular” but when he comes in, they recognize him and use his name — sounds like a little thing but when you see hundreds of dogs and know mine it means a lot to me.When we drive up, he goes into full wiggle butt mode and that is the most reassuring, his stamp of approval! He comes back happy and tired and clean and they’re always pleasant with my calls to check-in, sending me updates and memories and quick to respond with any questions or updates to his stay like treats or a spa day!The Wag SF helps me enjoy my vacations and days away cause I know my baby is in good hands.

We’ve had a very good experience getting our dog groomed at wag. Francisco does a great job and spends time playing with a relaxing the dogs before he grooms them. Our dog always comes home looking and smelling great. I just wish we could book grooming from their website/app instead of calling.

We have boarded our chihuahua at the San Francisco Wag Hotel several times over the years. He is well treated and probably gets more exercise than he is used to! My dog stayed here & she just loved it, Eryn & Carmen were so nice to us at check in. When I picker her up she was excited to see me, however she was so tired from all the fun she had in play group from 7:00a 7:00 pm daily. What a fun place to send you best friend & people that love your dog like they are there very own !

UPDATED: I'm not sure where to start this review other than from a place of deep gratitude. Like anyone seeking care for their pets, I aim for the best. It's crucial for me to know and feel that the care they receive is top-notch. The attention from the staff, the quality of the facilities, and the overall experience should be exceptional.Wag Hotel in San Francisco is my go-to place, despite living closer to another Wag location. The staff in SF is exceptional. They are kind, attentive, and go to great lengths to welcome me and my sweet dogs: a Shepherd mix (Luna) and a rescued Husky (Hope). I appreciate their thoroughness during check-in, their attention to feeding instructions, their inventory of the toys and shirt I leave with my pups, and their assurance of a good room (as both dogs stay together).The availability of cameras is crucial—it's comforting to see my dogs throughout the day in playgroups and in their room at night. I also value the phone call with updates, or should anything need to be addressed. And the 24 hour pickup/drop-off? I honestly don't know what I would do without it.I travel the country working with trauma teams in hospitals, dealing with the unspeakable daily. Just two days after my most recent trip, there was a shooting in an ER I had worked with. With a background in clinical and counseling settings, I strive to support these dedicated teams. My dogs are my therapy when I'm home, so knowing they're in excellent care allows me to focus on assisting healthcare workers.I can't recommend the team at SF Wag highly enough. I am grateful for their loving care and acknowledge their efforts over the past year to elevate their service. It's noticeable, impactful, and deeply appreciated.Todd WilliamsP.S. As mentioned above, I live close to another location. The SF location is anything but convenient for me... yet their service makes the trip worth it each and every time.UPDATE: I know we sometimes see reviews that are updated to change a viewpoint… this is not that kind of update. This is to reinforce all I wrote above.Over the past few weeks, my girls have been at Wag SF for multiple visits, and each visit only makes me more confident what I shared above was spot-on. Whether it’s the amazing check-in team that truly makes me feel like I’m bringing my girls to another “home” and not a boarding place, to the handlers that see them and light up and call them by name (note: it’s SO nice to see my dogs light up, too). A wonderful team member, Trevor, recently helped me navigate a glitchy camera issue and stayed the course until it was resolved. And recently one of my girls needed veterinary attention in the middle of the night (not due to anything on Wag’s part). Gwen, working the overnight shift, went so far above and beyond to ensure my girl received the best care, and that she was comforted by Gwen throughout... and that I was comforted across the country via regular detailed updates and photos. Gwen's thoughtfulness, attention to detail, care, concern, kindness, professionalism and heartfelt communication was beyond wonderful and appreciated. Literally chokes me up typing this. What could have felt like a helpless situation instead felt like a family event. I continue to be ever-grateful for the team of Wag SF for the way they CARE for the pets in their charge.

I have been a customer of Wag hotel SF since 2018 and really like all the services especially boarding ! The staff are very nice and treat my killer dog Awesome with great care :) No matter when I need to go for a 2-day or 1-month+ trip, I would keep my dog at Wag hotel without any concerns. Shout out to the live photo memory feature which provides more visbilities than the web cam. Looking forward to my dog's next stay at Wag Hotel SF !!!

I left my dogs, one of which requires special care, for 3 days in boarding and had an amazing experience.The staff is friendly and professional, and most importantly my dogs loved them!When they realised my dog with a prosthetic couldn’t go up the step required to get to his room they didn’t hesitate to give us an upgrade to an easily accessible suite at no additional cost.I will definitely be using this service again!

My dog, Riley, spent the day there while I went to work. The staff was very courteous and handled Riley well when I dropped him off. When I returned to pick Riley up, he was happy and well cared for. I will definitely give him another day of play again.

Wags is a scam. Booked my reservation weeks ahead. Filling out endless amount questionaires and paper work. A few days prior to my departure...they told me that they need to bring my 15 years old dog in for an observation play date. I asked shouldn't it be done weeks ago? No answer. They didn't set up the play date and added an $60 per day for "specialized care", 85% up charge without my consent to the invoice. When ask about the up charges...Wags response was...your dog is old WITHOUT any assessment or meeting the dog. They don't even know what special care she needed. I have to find an alternative boarding at the 11th hour. Shady business practice. Don't trust them!

If our dog could write this, you might understand better. But I can tell you that "Honey" loves it when we take her to Wag. Three steps inside the door and she has forgotten me. She is off to whatever adventure awaits, which always includes play time with other dogs.

It was Bentleys first day of all day play! My favorite thing was the pictures/updates that the staff sent me throughout the day. I could tell that Bentley loved it because he was so tired when we got home. We will definitely be back!
