Typical tight parking lot for a TJ but not horrible. Line into lot begins backing up onto street about 1030am on Sun. Store was very clean, well organized, and well stocked first thing on Sunday. Got everything I needed quickly and checkout wasn’t long at all, only 1-2 people deep in each line. Seems very well run.

Place is clean and friendly staff easy walking distance too. Prices are SF prices but with so many city specific taxes what else can you expect. Not a ton of homeless around either, sad that it needs to be in a review but it does. Some places have so many it makes you feel unsafe but this place is still in a pretty safe area.

Classic traders Joe with a comparable larger parking spot for TJ. If you shop with a car, that is a good place to go!

It is silly, I think, how much I both value and rely upon Trader Joe's. They are accommodating, friendly, and helpful, the selection of vegan items is okay, though I'd like to see MORE variety and very clear labeling. I've accidentally purchased things that end up having some animal product in em too often. That being said, they've always been generous and apologetic when I bring it to the attention of customer service.But super high marks all round, and your chain seems both ethical and consistent. The employees actually seem happy! Imagine, lol.If you could just, you know, find a way to make shoppers during your horrendous afternoon/evening rush less obnoxious? Probably never.Cheers.

Went to Trader Joes for my veggies and food for the week. Again the staff especially the customer care staff ringing us up. Super friendly and super helpful. Love this location.

It is a little hard to find items and everything is at an angle, and the bathrooms are terrible, but otherwise it is a good store to go to if you can get in (long car lines to get into the parking lot). Nice cashiers.

My sister spotted the Mother Ship as we were driving in San Francisco!Ofcourse we had to make a stop😃Even though we were in the City, parking was a breeze due to the parking lot director & plenty of spaces! All the staff were friendly and helpful🤗 I would definitely come back if I were in the neighborhood🙃

This TJs gets 5 stars cause they keep it well stocked no matter what time of day you shop there. The employees are very nice too!

The socially distanced line basically wrapped around the parking lot blocking in some cars. The parking lot is a bit cramped so beware. I went on a Friday at 12pm. I saw this long line though it was only about a 15minute wait. At the front of the line, they offer you a sanitized cart or basket. I wonder how Trader Joe's hire the same nice friendly personas for every employee at every location. There is plenty of room to socially distance in the store. Most of the inventory was stocked except for my favorite Pork and Ginger Soup Dumpling!! I was so disappointed because I waited in line for this. Sigh...better luck next time. I just wish they keep more of their most popular items in backstock and restock the shelves more often. But I guess that's how you keep the customers coming back.

Home base. Shop here first to save money on the basics. Then fill in the gaps at the various World grocery shops, co-ops and farmers markets around the city.If only it wasn't so unbelievably noisy most of the time.

They fixed freezers since I was here last! Woohoo! Now a great grocer. Love this store. It is crowded often but staff keeps lines moving. There is often a wait for parking which backs up onto Masonic during peak hours. There is a trader Joe's parking area just south of main parking. This is the corner of Masonic and Geary and is marked for trader Joe's parking. There is no security on this lot, but area is heavily trafficked and is less likely to have problems than many areas of the city. Of course Sf is great for walking and transit and has the 38 series of busses along with many smaller routes serving this intersection.

10-11am 10/29/23 The lovely gentleman who was helping me find oat bars in the freezer section was genuinely kind. It’s hard to find those types nowadays! I wanted to give him a shoutout for going in the back freezer and finding me substitute sandwich bars for me. What a kind guy whoever raised him up raised him with respect and proper manners!

Went to TJ on Masonic St yesterday to pick up flowers for my friend's bridal shower. Flowers were fresh & decent price comparing to SF flower market if you only need small amount. Great selection of roses, eucalyptus, orchids, tulips, succulents, & other greenery.

For a public transit rider and at such a big city junction, this place is ace. Cute like the 9th St location, but less frenzied with super helpful and engaging staff.Great proximity to Target, Presidio, Panhandle, and Golden Gate Park.Though generally quite busy, line service is fast, friendly, and efficient. With the City Center (Did you say "Tarzhay?") mall almost across the street, this is an easy place to do consolidated, comprehensive, and inexpensive shopping with easy access whether using MUNI or driving.Also, best during low volume hours and the cute seasonal succulent plant selections are always priced to sell!

Great store. Next to a mini park on Geary and Masonic. Avoid going around 5pm as it get really busy then. The store is clean and organized.

Small parking lot, so the wait to get in to park can be lengthy, but definitely worth it. There's always a Security Guard supervising the lot as well, so car break ins rarely occur at this location.

-good variety of products in every category letting me choose how healthy/expensive I want to run on my produce. I usually get alot of their frozen vegetables since their dirt cheap with more variety than the usual carrots, peas, corn staples you find at most other places and they last longer with the nutrition for the most part intact.Downside is even though they have a parking lot, it is always full with a line waiting to get in.

Trader Joe's has developed some magical pixie dust and I have become addicted.Great prices for pretty good food that you DON'T have to buy a palette's worth.To paraphrase A Tribe Called Quest, TJs has more hits than the Braves and the Yankees.Wish there were slightly more fresh selections and the parking is tough, at least at the Geary location.

I am under 200 lb for the first time in over a decade and I owe it all to poverty.Fun fact: If you have Trader Joe's vegetable potstickers for every single meal, it only costs $2 per meal and a loss of your sanity.But in San Francisco that's the sacrifice you make to afford to live near a Trader Joe's.

Parking is terrible. We had to park in the lot next door where Copper Penny used to be. We visited this one as we were on our way to visit someone & needed some flowers. The selections of flowers were good. The people working there are not as friendly as the ones from Stonestown or the SSF location.
