I've been a loyal customer of Joanne for three years. My dog looks noticeably neater and cleaner after an appointment. I know that Joanne regularly attends grooming conferences all the way to Korea to further harness her skills and keep updated in the industry even though she is already one of the most experienced groomer in the Bay Area.She also gives best advices/recommendations for taking care of my dog. As an example, she noticed that Eevee started having allergic reactions before I did and I was able to quickly take an action thanks to her. Eevee completely trusts her and adores her. I 100% recommend!

I recently visited Top Dog and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and attentive,making sure to listen to my requests for my dog’s grooming. They did an excellent job grooming my dog. Also I was impressed by gentle attitude. Highly recommend Top dog for anyone looking for dog grooming services. Also, there are lots of cute puppy stuff.

We have been here about a dozen times, and each visit Joanne is friendly, on-time, and attentive to our needs. She is a very skilled dog groomer, too. We are so happy to have found Top Dog!Tip: There is often available free parking on 14th between Geary & Clement, but note that you may have to enter from the Clement side as I believe 14th is closed for turns coming from Geary.

JoAnne is really great. I'm not the best at maintaining my Maltese and she does an amazing job at getting her back in shape. She also taught me some great home grooming techniques. The prices are reasonable as well. Highly recommended!

We love top dog!! Other groomers she always looks a little goofy right after a fresh cut but she looked amazing this time! They gave us the exact cut we asked for and she is SO SOFT. I love that you can make appointments online and they gave us a return time at drop off instead of having to wait for a call.

We had a few great experiences a couple of years ago, then we moved away. Now that we've returned we had our first grooming of our fine-haired shih tzu. He is not particularly friendly so we always are concerned about the experience. Our advice... go to these groomers. They not only do exactly as we ask, but our dog comes out tail wagging. And they noticed he had an infection in his ear (which we didn't notice before) which we appreciated. Fair price. Great grooming

Pepsi got groomed here and she left the building very confident and happy! The ladies that work there are really sweet and comforting to your pup. It's a small shop but the price was good for the job they did. Unfortunately, Pepsi didn't come home with a handkerchief or bow, but I'm sure if you ask them they may have some!
