Fast, friendly service. $30 is a bit much for a toy breeds nail trim but this shop IS the groomer of choice for many a celebrity.

My dad and I take our small dog here and they are always so great! My dad works in construction and takes our dog to the job site where she gets SO DIRTY and matted. They never hesitate to get her nice and cleaned up and treat her so well.

Russian Hill Dog Grooming is in the neighborhood - Pac Heights- and the best groomer in SF! My darling havanese Monty has made the rounds at various groomers all over the city. Once we found Leonard there was no going back. Both Leonard and the staff are awesome. Open seven days a week (totally convenient for busy schedule) and always manage to squeeze in my puppy for last minute pampering and baths. We are regularly stopped on the street and people comment on what a great puppy cut Monty has and how adorable he looks. If you live in San Francisco and love your dog and want to keep him/her looking fantastic... GO to Russian Hill Dog Grooming Express! You & precious pup will be glad you did!

I feel so lucky to have found Cindy. My dog’s been in and out of heart failure for a few months. The vet said not to bother trimming his nails but his thumbnails got so long they went right back to his leg. If I bring him to the vet he panics and goes into heart failure. I could usually entice him with treats to cut his nails but things are different now. Cindy said to bring him in and she’d trim as long as it was safe. We were in and out in 5mins and Brutus panted for only a little while after. I highly recommend this place!

Nice people and good work however insanely expensive....$150 to wash and groom a medium size long haired dog with no real trimming or cutting and no mats--except the pads maybe. Similar service quoted by the Hound Lounge at $53. Maybe not as good but $100 difference? Next time I'll put the dog in the car and try Hound Lounge.

Excellent grooming, my dog loves it there, doesn't want to leave, lol. Maltese, small, everything perfect-- cut, nails, eyes. He looks so gorgeous. And open Sunday's, really important for working mom. I took my German shepherd here for 10 years also

Amazing groomer, the owner is friendly and accommodating. I come here just for the nail trim and a wash on occasion but he does good work and rates are fair for the area.

Nobody can clip my Pitbull's nails but they got it done in like 3 minutes I would highly recommend them to anybody reasonable rates
