Zero stars!! The groomer was a horror show. My beautiful fluffy doodle was brutally shaved. Instead of taking a little extra time to get out about four matted areas they shaved him down. I stated absolutely not to clean his ears and to place cotton in them while he was being washed and instead they picked his ears and blood is now clumped up inside. I said do not trim his genial area because the wick directs he urine away from his leg and they brutally shaved that area. He is a very loving, calm and gentle puppy who has brutally handled and washed. I think he was emotionally traumatized as well. When I brought him home he wasn’t his fun and bouncy self and just cowering in a corner. I picked him up brought him to the sofa and hugged and kissed him to let him know he is safe, loved and at home. I will never step foot in Petsmart again. They do not care for the dogs and are treated with brutality. I have posted before and after photos.

Most of the staff is great! My dog comes here often, or has been. But DO NOT LET YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE DAY CARE AREA! They literally DON’T CARE! I once walked on the day care space and a tenant was asleep in the corner. Many times after people were on their phones while dogs were getting after each other. When you bring it up to staff they don’t care. But also when you bring it up to those to stick around because there is very high turn over, they mention “poor training.”My dog got bit once and was escorted to a completely different other location to get service on her ear and I didn’t find out until I picked her up 6hrs later. I ended up having to take her to a vet because her ear got infected. Nothing was done on the end of this location other than an apology.Lastly, you get what you pay for…Not doing it anymore.

We recently adopted our sweet angels from here and the staff were absolutely amazing! I wish I knew all of the staffs names, but each one took the time to let us interact with the kittens and listened to us when we were talking about our cat who had passed and we're extremely empathetic. My husband and I fell in love with three babies (all siblings) and they are now thriving in their furrever home♥️

Horrible Self Washing station. The shampoo and conditioner was not loaded in the washer so I had to use the bottles on the side. The water pressure was stuck on max, so I could not apply it directly on my dog as it was too strong. The hair dryer did not work (the other hair dryer worked but it was a dog there and it did not reach to my station) and he is very fluffy, so my dog had to leave the store all wet. The station itself was very dirty with hair that blocked the drain. When I complained, the staff did not care at all. First and last time I'm using PetSmart's Self Washing station.

PetSmart is always clean whether you're in the neighborhood to shop, adopt, or window-shop. The customer support is greatly appreciated and the PetSmart team is dedicated to promoting an outstanding service shopping experience! The City Center PetSmart location has a great atmosphere; it's very peaceful and loving. I highly recommend this PetSmart for anyone looking to do any type of pet shopping! They have everything you need and more, plus the adoption center is an added bonus!

Pretty large Petsmart. The first floor was all animal training and dog beds, but the upstairs had a super full selection of cat/dog food and supplies, and reptiles and fish as well.

Great new Petsmart in SF! I’m very impressed with how clean and well stocked everything is. No weird smells just yet. The customer service is great. There are no long lines either on a Saturday midday. I was looking for shopping experience similar to the Petsmart in Daly City with ample parking and I’m happy I don’t need to go far anymore. There is a lot of parking here so no worries on having to find a place to park.Also everything you may need is here, plenty of toys, dog food, treats and lots of sales going on. Will definitely be coming back! Such a great addition to the shopping center with a Target right next door for all your errands.

The self service dog wash is HORRIBLE. The drain was caked with about 3 inches of dog hair from various dogs throughout the day and it was clear they don't clean in between washes. We were given only one towel and they only had two aprons of which one was already in use so between my partner and I we only had one. We asked for another apron and were told they didn't have any more. The floor was disgusting and soaked with water and hair. The sprayer had a dial to control the water pressure which was broken on both washes. Neither wash was loaded with shampoo so we had to manually shampoo our dog and only one hair dryer out of two worked. The sprayer was stuck on max pressure so water went everywhere and there was nowhere to dry the dog that wasn't soaked and nasty with hair and water. The staff were not helpful and rattled of a list of issues with the washes before we even entered so we knew it would be bad. The washes have two tiny non slip pads so it's an extra bad experience for the dog. Dryer pressure was not great. Save yourself the trouble and go to pet food express. They have the BEST self wash area with lots of stalls so there's usually no wait, offer unlimited towels and aprons, clean after each wash, and have a better non slip setup with a separate drying station so the dog doesn't have to sit in dirty water while getting dried. They also offer free treats for those using the wash and have a package deal if you buy multiple wash sessions at once.

Do not support this place. They have numerous glowfish and betas sitting in tiny plastic cups dying. They're on shelves with bright light and small amounts of water, all either sitting still or close to death like the one in the picture. When I told the register employee Erica that I was not ok with it and she needed to let her managers know, she told me there's nothing she can do about it. I will now be contacting corporate to inform them that this is not ok and I will not be supporting them.

Great customer service for grooming services! Fantastic job, super friendly, pet is well taken care of. $45 for bath, but really it’s $65 for all the add ons. Has self wash station and day care. Bring cash for tip though. Can’t do it via cc

Do not take your dog here!!! Worst grooming experience ever! I had gone to the same groomer for almost two years and just had my dog groomed on Thursday. The cut was so bad that my dogs eyebrows are basically bald. The groomer totally disregarded everything I asked for!! Super disappointed by the lack of professionalism and care for my dog.

Yesterday, I went to this petsmart to get at least five guppies for my turtle tank. I had guests coming over, so I wanted the house to look great. The fish are also healthy for the turtle, just in case my small companion consumes them. As my mother and I make our way to the fish tanks in the back, we notice that the tanks are thick of algae. As a turtle owner, I am aware that certain algae is beneficial for certain aquatic species, but not at this concentration. The best way to describe it was like that one seen from Nemo when they made the tank dirty. As we cautiously approach the tank, we observe many dead guppies floating in the water and a couple at the bottom. I discovered a single guppy (picture added of my guppy on it’s way home) and asked a staff member to retrieve it for us. As he attempts to catch the fish with the small net, you can see the feces and algae floating in the tank as the water sloshes about. I am utterly repulsed and am relieved that my guppy has a new home. The reason I awarded two stars is because the employee ensured that I had a suitable environment for the fish. Which is somewhat humorous given that the fish was in a roughly 5-gallon tank that reeked when opened.

Justin, if you don't enjoy your job and the customers who pay money at the store where you work, please find another job. Don't take someone else's place! Plenty of people in San Francisco would be happy to take your spot.For the store manager: Justin ignored me at the checkout today. Asian customers formed a queue on the right side instead of the usual left. I stood behind them to avoid having two separate lines at the same cash register. There was a couple of Asian customers in front of me, and Justin clearly saw that I was standing behind them with a large quantity of Royal Canin cat food (I didn't grab a basket, so I was just holding 20 packs in my arms). Additionally, I am tall, so I was clearly visible behind the customers in front of me. At that moment, an American couple approached and stood on the left side of the same checkout where I was. When the customers in front of me were done, Justin simply turned and went to serve the American couple at another checkout. The couple informed him that I was waiting in line ahead of them and asked him to assist me. He did not react at all. I stated that I was indeed the next in line and proceeded to the next checkout. However, it would have been more appropriate for him to come to the checkout where I had waited in line. Justin did not ask for my phone number, did not inquire if I needed a receipt (he just printed it out), and did not ask if I needed a bag. He simply scanned all the cat food packs and left them scattered on the counter for me. I collected everything in my handbag, took the receipt, and left. What is this? Unprofessionalism? Racism?By the way, another guy, I do not remember his name, it was like 2 months ago, was very polite and tried to help me with my issue. I guess it`s your supervisor or manager, because I have never seen him at the register.

2 weeks ago I called to book my dog Mercedes an appointment and showed up later on that day around 4 or 5:00 PM and I was expecting the service to take longer than it did but they called me in less than two hours and I picked Mercedes up and she smelled she good at first but the next day she was back smelling like she was playing outside all day. When I realize that she was back smelling like she's never been groomed. I called the store immediately and was put on hold for about 30 minutes. I called back I spoke to someone who was really nice and he actually works upstairs in the other part of the store where they sell the items. So I asked him if he could transfer me and he was very polite and he did it, and no one ever came to the phone. I waited on hold I was hung up on I called back and I still have no resolution. Also I know they did not groom my dog they did not clip her toenails. They did not do anything but spray some dog cologne charge me $74 and sent me on my way, if you really want your dog groomed go somewhere else I left a tip and everything and for them just to not even contact me is pretty unprofessional in my opinion. At this point I'm really ready to dispute the charge with JP Morgan, Chase because I really feel played out, I always was told Petsmart was better than Petco but that's not true. I'd rather take my dog to Petco any day of the week than to return to that Petsmart location on Geary. Petsmart definitely has a nicer location but haven't you ever heard the expression "All that glitters ain't gold"? It's nothing golden, glitzy, or glamorous about Petsmart on Geary. Just a bunch of bodies in the building to collect a paycheck. They do not give 2 fs about animals. I will never frequent that location again. And I just decided to dispute the charge with my bank. They got me and my dog twisted fr.

P I have no idea what happened to my dog. I don't think that they'd ever let him out of his room. All the dog treats that I left for him were never used. His dog bed was saturated in urine and poop. Service there was horrible. I was hung up on several times before getting through after the phone rang at least 30 times

You can do self-serve baths here for your pet. It’s 20 bucks. They have two barb stations. One of them is out of order at the moment. It has a strong power wash hose that has soapy water. The hose is really strong, and helps clean pretty well. There is also a dryer you can use at the end. They provide conditioner as well.

Ashley in the salon is the worst customer service person she's very judgemental and rude. I went to buy some clippers for my dog and asked her if she recommend me a pair she gave an awful look and said she had never used any of them I though she would know since I seen her clipping dogs she didn't even suggest another brand of clipper or something similar. Her attitude caught me off guard, and the experience her was not great, I was not welcomed by no one.

Surprisingly it wasn't busy. The sales were on the floor and very accessible / helpful. A large variety of pet supplies in stock and put on shelves. A bit surprising in itself today with supplies being somewhat spotty and difficult to obtain at times Pricey was good and not to knock other stores like large grocery stores that carry pet supplies or Target for that matter. Pricing is considerably lower for the same brands. It has two levels in the lower level. They have pet groomers so it's kind of like a one-stop shop for your little buddies. 👍

I was pretty excited when this store was put here and the inside is pretty large and seems well stocked. The downside is that there are very few workers and the workers who are here don't really engage with customers unless they have to. Also, if you don't know that you need your rabies proof to get a self service bath, please bring it apparently. I didn't know this and just gave up after waiting 10 minutes near the counter for anyone to even acknowledge us, we were told we needed proof of vaccines for our pup. I just gave up and left.
