I was extremely happy with the grooming service that Alyssa provided for my Toy Poodle, Sawyer. I know that my dog is easily agitated as he doesn't like any veterinary or grooming visits. Alyssa was able to give him a proper grooming compared to the last grooming received at different PetCo.

The lady who groomed my small dog did an excellent job. My dog as very matted and she took great care in ensuring my dog was groomed correctly. She took the time to confer with with about the length of her hair. I will most certainly use Alyssa again and also recommend her to my friends. Thank you Alyssa.

The groomers do a great job! They are professional. They always have a dog or two that they are working on, so they are very busy and you can watch them at work. The other dogs being worked on look happy and not stressed. I like going here for the service and convenience. Too bad that I have to book a month in advance, because they are so busy.

Staff was professional, pleasant and accommodating - all good. Grooming staff are great but beware of trying to use the Petco online booking system, glitchy and unworkable. You can leave a message for the grooming staff to call you back to schedule an appointment or make one in person at the facility.

Jenifer went above and beyond to take care if my fuzzy little buddy. When I mentioned he'd been itching and scratching after his last two visits she immediately recommended some sensitive skin options and my little buddy didn't scratch himself raw this time. Also she must be great with my little guy because it's the only pet parlor where be doesn't chase after me when I leave him and he just willingly follows her when she takes him away.

naturally bringing my dogs in for a grooming during this time of the health crisis, I was not concerned about my dogs but wondering if I was doing the right thing by the groomers in the salon.. The guidelines they had in place were optimal, I had asked that my dogs be cut even shorter than usual so that I wouldn't have to come in so often. The young woman asked me if that was really what I wanted, I said, they can looked a bit scalped and hoping that our national health crisis might be on wane by the end of June, I would feel a little better about bringing my dogs in for their next grooming and not put the young women who work in the saloon at risk, even though I wore a mask and gloves; ie work in the medical field so I know how vital it is that we all protect each other. Well, when I picked up my two dogs, their fur was short, as I asked, but they looked beautiful. I know that bringing in a dog for a grooming is not an essential service, and I told the young woman, that I may have to learn how to groom Katie and Gigi, but the result would not be as good as they looked yesterday. To everyone at Sloat Petco, thank you for all that you are doing for keeping your customers safe and we customers need to do our part by helping to keep everyone at sloat Petco safe. Until we can say hello and see everyone's smile again, stay safe, stay well, keep soaping and distancing.

Alyssa did a fantastic job on both Jazmine & Kirby. American Eskimo dogs have lots of long hair, that often has knots in it. But when they are groomed right, they are really beautiful. And that's what Alyssa does.

I was satisfied with the haircut for my dog. But I would have appreciated if the person who gave the haircut would have asked me about the 3 spa service before doing it and charging me without my knowledge/ acceptance of the service. I only found out post fact.

Twice they’ve stood us up and no showed for a grooming appointment but never bothered to courtesy call. Elderly family member stood outside waiting for the doors to open and got treated poorly.
