The staff here is incredibly kind and friendly. Expect to be greeted upon entering. It's never super crazy so you can shop on your own time or get a good walk through experience for newbies or those looking to learn.I love the selection and just come to shop. Haven't tried the services yet. My frenchie seems to love coming here, and she magically becomes well-behaved even with other dogs in the store, too. I'm fan and will return regularly. Thank you so much!

one of my favorite places to shop for my dog. i always stop here when i take my dog to get groomed at The SF pet Barber Roberto who is the best around. nice big store with lots of room and very friendly staff.

I had just rescued a pup from SPCA so needed to get food and gear. While I was lurking around the store a young associate approached offering help. She was kind and patient. Although I spent way too much money, I look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend shopping here.

Not your usual nationwide chain of pet stores. A pleasure to visit for a free treat for the fur baby and its bi-weekly bag of favorite kibbles. All within a very easy walk from the downtown rental apartment. Great place to shampoo dogs after a day trip to the beach. Almost perfect if not for the temperature of the air dryers which can be notched up a few degrees.

This business is my go to for everything I need for my pup. Their buy3 get the 4th free deal is great. The staff particularly at the market St store is helpful and always friendly and courteous. I used to use the self wash station which has a nice setup I just wish the air dryer didn’t blow cold air on my wet dog..

I've been shopping for my cat supplies here since forever. They have everything you need, the people are friendly and there are locations all over the Bay area. I miss visiting the cats up for adoption; I hope they do that again soon.

Pet Food Express on Market is a great place to buy pet food supplies, treats, and toys. That I expected. What pleasantly surprised me was the fact that there is an on-site vet, a pet wash station, staff that LOVES pets, and a handy scale to weigh your pet (and prove your frie ds wrong who assumed your Pomeranian was 20lbs when she is not even 10!).I highly recommend this place.

If you need dog food for your Pig and are in a hurry, go there! Unfortunately my dog, Pig, peed on one of the doggy beds while suffering from sensory overload one day. So naturally we fled the scene after buying some other stuff that had not yet been peed on. Sorry! Oh and parking is great since I just use the Fed Ex store and stop in there to ask a question or two before going to the dog food store. Don't judge me either, you all do it too!

PFE is the best with well trained and caring staff. It's a bit pricey, but buy 3 and get the 4th free of anything. That helps. For $5, they will deliver to you. They sell high quality food for your pets and they will help you figure out what to try if you have finicky cats like I do. Highly recommend PFE for pet owners who want nothing but the best for their animals!

I like that it is 80% dog stuff, 20% cat and other stuff. The dog wash area was convenient and fairly priced. The staff was very friendly, and my dog really appreciated all the treats and affectionate attention. They have a great selection of foods for all types of dietary restrictions. I'll definitely shop here again.

I really only shop here for my pet. Prices are competitive and they do "buy 3 get 4th free" on almost everything in store... treats, food, toys, etc. A little bummed this store cut a bunch of inventory and put a training enclosure in the back of the store. My dog's food has had supply chain issues already so having even less room and less product isn't the most helpful.One thing that is great, is how understanding they are of your dogs taste. When they ran out of my pups fave flavor, I picked up a couple others to see how he would like. After about a day of eating it he decided he wasn't happy and stopped eating. Pet food express takes back open bags of food to exchange for something they will actually eat. That's such a huge relief when his bags of food are $58 and he decides he doesn't like it anymore. Just don't take a mostly eaten bag of food back to them. That's just abusing the policy.

Love this place for my dog.They have a self service dog wash, it comes with shampoo and conditioner. They also have treats to give your dog while they get a bath.
