I come every 2-4wks.Good stuff, very knowledgeable. Love that they have a bath station: $20/bath, no time limit. Multiple de-shedders and brushes. No more conditioner to use, unfortunately.Only con is I had bought 40$ worth of treats from them and it didn't agree with my dog's stomach and they wouldn't exchange it for anything else in the store. They will exchange food, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Incredibly nice staff, nice and clean bath facilities, and yummy dog treats that can make even the most nervous dog excited about bath time. Also, reasonably priced bath at $12.Also, Pawtrero supports the community and participates in events at places like Triple Voodoo Brewery. Supporting local businesses is definitely a behavior worth paying for.

❤️❤️❤️ this place!!! We buy our dog and cat food here as well as the one on Brannan. It just depends on traffic. Kush the kitty alone is worth the visit. Staff here is also very helpful and knowledgeable. Please shop local!!!

Best pet shop in San Francisco! Locally owned is super important to me. Staff are super knowledgeable. They only stock high quality products so I don’t need to worry about reading labels or fussing over ingredients. My dog LOVES going to the store. When we get within a 2 block radius, she knows where it is and tries to steer us there.The delivery service has been a life saver during the pandemic. I suggested Pawtrero to my neighbor that has a cat and they’re hooked too. I moved a few months back and have been notifying my new neighbors of this great store.

Hands down the best pet supply store in sf :) We love Pricilla, and have met the owners and they are amazing as well. They have a great selection of food & anything you’d need for dogs and cats. We usually stock up on food, and lots of treats, bulk bully sticks, and chews. Lots of natural/ organic products and the staff is super knowledgeable if you have questions or need anything. They are also super dog friendly, our girl literally starts sprinting when she knows we are going in. It’s her favorite place, we always joke if she ran away this would be her first stop. Thanks for everything Pawtrero!

I love this store! The owners ( Shireen, Ray & Suzie) and the team members are truly amazing people who care about you and the well being of your fur baby. I purchase all my dog’s food and health care products here. You get quality products and service at Pawtrero. The owners take great pride and care in selecting high quality products offered. This takes the guesswork out for me. I highly recommend Pawtrero. Your fur babies will thank you!

I usually bring my dog here for baths and treats. They have a great self-washing station and offer high quality shampoos. I love that they don't water the down the bottles like the other stores (K9 Playtime). And surprisingly, it's cheaper too at only $12! Canned food and other supplies are slightly more expensive but this store is wonderful!

It's my go to place for my cat food needs. As a first time cat owner, I wanted the best cat food for her. Despite being surrounded by pet shops, I couldn't find the brands that were gluten free, good balance of nutrients and didn't have a lot of recalls. I found them all here and a few new ones besides. It is a really good place for raw diets and freeze dried foods. It was perfect for my picky eater.I wish though, that they had more challenging/puzzle cat toys and more for cat clicker training.

My doggies favorite place in the world which makes me incredibly happy, too. The owners are very caring and offer a terrific selection of healthy foods, treats and toys. They always offer a treat to our pup so she steers us across the street even if We weren't planning a shopping day.

Love all of the food and treat options for my cats, all free of bad chemicals and fillers. They have a great selection of raw, grain free, canned, dry food. Lots of different protein options which is great for pets with allergies to some of the more common proteins. The people that work there are super helpful and knowledgeable too. When we moved here, for various reasons, had to switch both of our cats to completely new diets and they helped out a lot. They are my regular pet store in the city.

We used to love close to the two stores and got delivery for our pets food. Now we moved down to South Bay, but still make the trip to the city for these guys. They are so knowledgeable and helpful, and truly love pets! The kitties on both stores are a plus :)

Love Pawtrero and was going to the SOMA location regularly for 3 years until I moved. They always had the best treats and meals for my puppers. All totally organic and sustainable! Now that I’m further away, I use their delivery service, which is totally fantastic. Ray is so flexible even the times I’m not at the house! I love these guys!

Shop keepers are incredibly knowledgeable about different food brands they carry and even have stopped carrying providers that no longer meet up to their expectations. I have a 12 year old dog who recently lost all his teeth. Their recommendation was perfect!

This boutique pet store (no animals here, just the things they need) stocks an impressive selection of natural dog and cat foods and "real" treats. They have a self-wash station if your furry friend is filthy and have leashes and collars and such. I love the staff here and enjoy taking my dogs in.

This is a really good pet store for those looking for natural foods, treats, etc. Their prices aren't cheap but they offer a good return policy and extensive chews for dogs. They also have a self grooming bath station if bathing your pets at home is difficult (as it is with our husky and no bathtub).

I would shop here if I lived in San Francisco I actually went there to purchase a gift certificate for someone we have made friends with on who's on the streets with his dog. Oviously he couldn't carry around extra food and things. It's right across from Oracle makes it convenient for all.

Cool local spot for pet food, grooming and supplies. It's also fairly easy to find a parking spot in this part of Potrero, or take the 55 or 22 bus. Or one of those scooters if you don't mind looking like a dork.
