The clerk was so nice and kind. He explained Jeffery's food's features in detail and considerate of my dog's allergy. I came from Japan to SF for my honeymoon with my 3 Shiba and I wish I could get Jeffery's food in Japan. my dogs ate them up and looked so be satisfied. Thank you so much!

Went there with our dog who has been having a rough day, (jet leg since we came from Europe) was pushed into buying as much as possible- and then they gave him Jefferys power boost. He had an allergic reaction. Maybe they wanted to help but wanting is not good enough. I felt ripped off and left with a poisoned dog. Never got a receipt so i can complain or sue.

I struggled a lot in the past finding something that my senior cat liked and finally found great options here! All of them super healthy.Also staff is super friendly and they always help me find good options for my kitties :-)

My two bengals only ate one brand of raw food since I’ve gotten them. Lately that company has been having production issues and I’ve tried other brands with no luck. I was nervous I wasn’t going to find anything until I found Jeffreys RAW food and they love it so much without any coaxing. Anna was great and I even got neck bones for their teeth and they’re super happy. Mealtime is always a party now! Thanks !

Lovely little shop. Not inexpensive, but top notch quality and kind service. My little terrier LOVES their frozen raw dog food (they deliver!!!). Also very cute pet-clothing, including SF and local sports teams for your little fan.

I am so glad I found Jeffrey's! The store has a wide variety of food my dog was able to try. We found the right brand for her, thanks to Lynnet! Both her and her staff have been consistently helpful and very nice every time I have been there!I'm grateful to have found such a store where it feels good to buy something and get treated like you (and your pet) matter. Love them!

I attended Jeffrey's puppy social with my 4.5 month old French Bulldog puppy. This program is amazing and something I highly recommend for any pup parent. The people who run the program (especially Josie!) are amazing, organized, informative, etc. and helped me sign up for the correct class with my pup.My puppy was a little shy with other dogs, and this class really helped her to be comfortable with not only meeting new dogs, but also helped me to learn her cues. After attending just one class my pup has already been more social with other dogs and has learned the correct behaviors for playing. I'm excited to keep attending this classes and to see how much more she progresses!

Jeffrey’s is a great local, family run store. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They do great events on the weekends. If my dog ever got out I would know where to find her.

Great natural foods pet store! We've bought a collar, jacket and many treats from this fantastic store. Highly recommend it.Want to update my review, since it's been a few years. The staff at this store are so helpful and worked very hard throughout the past couple of years to ensure a safe environment for both shopping and training. They even created a parklet for outdoor options.They are such a great community business. When there are natural disasters, they coordinate donations to support pets in affected communities. And when our dog was nearing her end of life, they helped provide her and us with comfort and support. When we couldn't get her to eat, they gave us a variety of things to try which worked much better than the meds we were given at the vet. They also took all of her things, no questions, as a donation when she was gone. That alone eased so much pain and truly exemplifies the care this company and it's employees show their customers. Thank you!!

I have been to the Jeffrey’s in Duboce Park for my pup but recently moved to North Beach. I’m navigating the best local spots, and in need of a groomer. I called this Jeffrey’s to see if they had a grooming service, which they don’t. BUT before I could ask the woman on the other line if she had any local recommendations, she offered up her suggestion. Proceeded to assure me she would stay on the line to confirm I found the company via google. THEN when I couldn’t find the company, she took down my contact info to send me the company name herself. The customer service was seriously 5 stars! Thank you for being so helpful!

This is a great place to take your pooch. They have a huge selection of food and treats made with healthy, high-quality ingredients. They also sell collars, leashes, and harnesses made by local vendors. We got my dog a whole new set of stuff for his walks. The people who work there were so nice and helpful, too. They made great recommendations and helped us make sure everything fit correctly.

Nice selection but very expensive. I bought two harnesses that were made in SF at $50 each a year or so ago and my vet has told me not to use them anymore because they're deforming my young dog's spine. So much for buying local! Also my dogs consistently get sick from their raw food no matter how I introduce it.

Friendly local store with a good selection of pet supplies. Their local raw cat food is our cat's preferred option. They also have fresh cat grass which is handy.

I adopted a dog 5 days ago. She hadn't eaten in the last 3 days. I took her in to Jeffreys and kelly and Lynette knew just what to do. She has now eaten and couldn't stop wagging her tail while she was in there. They took a whole lot of stress off me today!
