Super friendly staff, clean & organized store with all my furry friend Sabrina the cat's needs! She LOVES the Jeffrey's homemade raw Turkey Meatfeast (sold frozen), and this from a cat who refused to eat wet food most of her 17 years of life, preferring dry crunchies. I am hoping lots of love, care and attention combined with the healthier wet food gives her at least 3 more years with me <3 Thank you, Jeffrey's!

They sold me dog treat that expire in three days. When they were confronted about it, the guys said unapologetically the treats are fine after they expire. For a tiny bag of dog treat that costs 10 dollars, I expect them not to expire within 3 days. PS I bought it on 06/16/2019

Excellent pet store; one of the best I've ever been to! I stopped by here on a whim, and picked up a new kong toy + some of Jeffrey's natural pet food. Customer service was great and the cashier threw in an extra sample of food for our dog to try. Will be back!

Oh Jeffrey's! You get me every time - in more ways than one! 😂 I love coming to Jeffrey's because the staff is always able to see into my soul and what I actually need, versus what I am rustling around in the store thinking I want. By the time I know it I have all the things, but they are always amazing additions to my puppy repertoire!Always remember to bring your dog, as they will guide you to what you should buy, as well!

Such a cute store with natural products! I stopped in to pick up a treat for my puppy back home and could not have been more pleased. They were also so helpful and friendly. My dog loved the treats I gave her. I'm definitely stopping in again next time I'm in the bay area.

I love coming to Jeffrey's Natural Pet Foods store! They have really cute clothing for dogs, and the food selection is fantastic. I got the apple treats for my parents' dog and he devoured them. I recently got blueberry treats, which is only comprised of 3 or 4 ingredients. Needless to say, the dog loved them too.The staff are really nice and are happy to answer all your questions. I'm definitely coming back here to get more yummy treats.

Wonderful neighborhood pet store. If you are looking for options/variety of pet food this is your place. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Clean, welcoming store that's pet friendly. They offer a customer reward program, which many SF pet stores do not. We were even given samples for our pup to try at home. Overall fantastic experience shopping with and for my pet.

This is a wonderful pet supply store. It’s actually more then that as they have a lot of resources for your pet. Classes, holistic health care items and more. I have been going here since 2003 and personally feel it is the greatest pet store in town. The staff is also amazing. Very knowledgeable and super service. Highly recommend!

They treat locals right, and they truly love animals. I've gotten great advice, and my cat's quality of life has improved because of it. Would highly recommend to anyone that doesn't feel like giving more money to the pet food mega-corps.

Our vet recommended that we enroll in puppy socials ASAP! We took our 10 month old large breed puppy (Maggie) to Jeffrey’s Puppy Socials as often as was available which ended up being around 2-3 times a week.Maggie started off very shy and observed from a corner of the enclosure for her first social which is totally normal! The trainer (Meg) that hosted the social ensured that Maggie was not too stressed out and allowed her to engage at her own pace. By the end of the session Maggie was out of her corner and playing with other dogs. We came back for more and Maggie continued to play well with other dogs! She has learned A LOT during the precious socialization period— how to ask other dogs to play, how to be corrected by another puppy, how to correct another puppy etc etc. The location of the Puppy social also ensured that the puppies are exposed to loud street traffic and sirens which is invaluable.Maggie has since aged out and we really have benefited from the puppy socials. We learned a lot from the trainers there and made connections with other people! If you’re looking for friends, you can find them here. Maggie is growing into a very well exposed puppy. She used to be so scared of the world around her and now she barely flinches at a siren.Puppy socials also allow the humans to network with other people who are on the same journey in the new puppy adventure! We actually were able to link up with Maggie’s littermate who happened to be in SF too. It’s fun watching them play! (During the pandemic it would have otherwise been difficult to socialize them) Additionally, the puppy socials allow the humans to take home a tired pup.Let’s talk about all the other things about Jeffrey’s:Jeffrey’s is a woman owned business! I love to support that & support local shops!Shortly after booking your puppy social, the event coordinator Josie will correspond with you. I just want to give Josie a huge shoutout for making Jeffrey’s feel like a friend vs. a business. There have been a number of occasions where Josie has reached out to see if we wanted to switch time slots since her sister was in the other; Josie took into consideration of our wants and proactively reached out. Josie didn’t have to so that but did! It takes a very special person to handle the bookings and events of all their clients and to do so with joy in their labor is a wonderful thing to experience. Don’t forget to say a big thank you to Josie!The physical store is amazing and the team that works there makes it feel warm and inviting. They, of course, remember your dogs name and I’m sure they love to watch them grow! The atmosphere gives you a feeling of being part of a community. It makes you feel proud to be part of SF.The products that Jeffrey’s has are all high quality! We get all of Maggie’s high value treats and chews there and NONE of them have given her diarrhea. I highly recommend the freeze dried hearts and the freeze dried bully sticks. Maggie does anything for those hearts!Ultimately, we love our local Jeffrey’s and their contributions to this beautiful community.

Absolutely disgusting.I was in the area and needed to feed my dog a quick dinner so I decided to get a can here.When I went to the cashier, the guy was on his phone the entire time and didn't even acknowledge me. He just took my card and charged it.I asked him for the receipt and when I saw it, I noticed he charged me more than what was stated on the sign. So I pointed this out and he walked over to check the sign and aggressively pulled the sign down and threw it onto the counter.He didn't even apologize. He just said to his friend on the phone that he had to go.Then he said "I don't even know how to do a refund" as if he just expects me to say "OK. It's fine you overcharged me."Then he just opened his cash register and gave me back the difference in cash and then said "you know I did you a favor right? You didn't buy the minimum to use your credit card."I HAD cash with me. If you weren't so disgustingly rude, you could've asked me if I has cash and you wouldn't have had to "do me a favour."Absolutely terrible terrible!! Will never ever go back here and make sure all the dog lovers around me are aware of the customer service.

We've been attending puppy socials at Jefferys with our pup Juno. The crew are beyond amazing and the staff really caring. We've been able to modify our puppies diet and have seen huge improvement in her behavior.

Great quality dog food, natural stuff with no preservatives as far as I can tell. And they are honest when they discover that some of the dog food has bad stuff in it, they gave me free samples of alternative products when a kibble previously bought turned out to be potentially harmful!
