Lori groomer was so nice to our pup. He was going through it, with recent infections and allergies and all the things, but she took really good care of him. Even though she wasn't sure she would be able to finish his cut, she did and she put a lot of time and love into it and I appreciate that so much.

This place overcharges. $260 for a 13 pond mini golden doodle?! We were told there is a charge for matted chest but I just brushed the dog one day before sending in for grooming. Pretty sure there is no mat……

*** CAUTION (EMILY) "Groomer"Probably the most horrifying and traumatic customer experiences I have ever had.After everything I have been through I would have to advise to not risk going to this place. I have provided photos below of my dog after grooming. Still wet, no nail trim and a gash left on his genitals which required hospitalization.After reaching out to Healthy Spot CEO and Directors I was able to be compensated for the damage and animal cruelty inflicted by Emily.I hope nobody else experiences what I went through.I have posted photos of my dog after the "Cut" and one photo before I took him in. We want to express our outrage with the Grooming services provided by the Mission Bay Health Spot.We chose Healthy Spot because even though they are more expensive than other groomers, they say they pride themselves in working in a partnership, and that they have grooming assistants to help with animals that have anxiety or stress. We were told these assistants (as well as their website says this) so that dogs that are stressed can get a break when they are upset.The truth of the matter is they leave your screaming dog in cages for hours! We had an appointment and when we came back for her over an hour later we could hear her from outside before we even got into the store. She was screaming and crying. We learned they had not even started her yet and had left her unattended this whole time in a cage. Obviously we immediately took her home. We are scared that this has happened on more than one occasion since the grooming for our 8lb maltipoo would take up to 4 hours.To communicate that you offer a groomer and a grooming assistant, and to charge for that and not have it but instead have a stressed out animal is abusive and irresponsible. She was so upset she wouldn't leave our side after we came home.They should be ashamed. We have reached out to their management and will update this review with their responses.Response from regional management (pretty generic and not really anything in offering assistance).“I'm so sorry to hear about your most recent experience at Mission Bay. As an Instacart shopper usually I dred pet store orders but this place is no ordinary pet food store. Staff members knew where everything was and helped so much. Got in and out with everything on the list so fast and learned about the area in the process!

Great and friendly neighborhood pet and grooming store. The staff are always helpful with answering any questions especially deciding on food or supplies for your pet. They are always generous on giving out free samples if they have the brand of food you are interested in trying. They also run frequent promotions for certain brands of pet food which is great.Also came here for grooming a few times and things went well. Only one time, my dog came out not fully dry. The appointments take about 4 hours which could be too long and could be traumatic for your pet.Glad that they are in the neighborhood for your pet’s needs! The location is also a block away from the dog park!

Don’t use the day care, they mostly leave the dogs in crates and if they want to play they told you to pick them up because they don’t let the other dogs sleep….. you are paying for a place to make your dog sleep not play….And the cards that they give you with the info aren’t real, they create stories

The grooming here is fantastic. I have a very fluffy and big malamute mix that I adopted with a lot of compacted fur. A lot of places either refused to work on him or didn't attempt to bathe him. He's a strong-willed dog and doesn't always pick up on what I try to teach him so this place was a Godsend. I gave a really big tip for the amazing work and I will be coming back!

DAYCAREI’ve been using daycare services for a few months now and my cocker spaniel loves it here! The staff really are sweet to her and the report cards I get tell me what she’s been up to that day. For example, often the note says that she has made sweet dog friends here 😊.The staff also give me updates via text if anything happens.If you’re dog is on a special diet or require special treats, they will also feed your dog at no extra cost.A few times I was a bit late to pick her up and I always checked in with them and the staff always took great care of her!Thank you!

Pet shop for dogs and cats, super complete, they have everything for your pup! Food, toys, beds, clothes harnesses and leashes, season costume, CBD supplements, toppers, vitamins. They also have groomers and a day care for small doggies. Staff is always friendly, Guillermo and Naz are the best!

The staff here are all fantastic and we'll miss them all as we've moved out of the area. Our puppy has built so much confidence being in their doggie daycare that it was worth every penny. We visited other HealthySpot locations in the L.A. area and were met with the same familiar, pleasant scent and our puppy immediately got excited. Little touches matter so much. Thank you so much to all the staff from the groomers, retail folks, and Travis and the daycare team!

Love this little pet store! Always quiet, with great quality and variety of products. A bit more expensive than other places, but the quality is significantly better. The staff are friendly too, and always happy to see my dog and give her some treats and attention.Their brand of treats are always well received by my picky dog, and my kids love the window into the doggy daycare next door.

Love Healthy Spot. It's hard to know what food are healthier for dogs nowadays with so many options and reviews. This place gives you their recommended selection to choose from without being overwhelming.It is pricier than Petco but I prefer it. The grooming is great. They took care of my dog Raven so well and always made him look adorable and since he was a senior dog, needed a lot of attention and patience.Guillermo at Healthy Spot, knew my dog so well and it's great to have someone who's seen your dog age. He recommended foods and joint medications, especially since my dog's appetite kept changing and he had no teeth. Guillermo always asked if he could give my dog treats and my dog had fun roaming the store to get them.I appreciate Healthy Spot in the neighborhood and when I get another dog, will be taking them right over.

A great shop for pet food, treats, and accessories! Whenever we walk by my dog always pulls in that direction because he knows how great it is. They always give him treats when we go. Their food and treats are higher end and on the pricier side, but good quality. They have a fridge/freezer section that has lots of fresh and raw options. There are occasional sales on certain brands. The staff is very knowledgeable and helped us to find a food that our dog loves! There are also grooming services available on location.

This pet store is amazing! My little dog is the pickiest eater ever and everytime I am picking up her expensive soft food they give me samples of more affordable options for her to try, without me asking for it! Every single employee there shows this same helpfulness and kindness. The employees seem very knowledgeable about the nutritional benefits of each item as well as what is best for each dog. I've learned so many things just from talking to the employees. I also took my dog here for her 1st grooming appointment and they took great care of her. Great store and even better employees!!

Yesterday I had an appointment with my dog kairu. She needed an nail trim. There was an Girl at the register who happened to be Indian Punjamie I wish I had gotten her name. Previous day I booked this care with a guy I buy snacks from. I wanted to add service of a shampoo more money for business, But the girl said we cannot even give my dog a trim. I was getting irritated because I booked this appointment I was 15 min early and no phone call or consideration that I was a previous client or that my dog mattered.. Totally inconsiderate on her part and I am now looking for a better place and because of another review here how someone 🙄 did a terrible work on this sweet poodle I am glad my appointment was overbooked. So sad my review is 1 star. They need to replace a couple of staff 1 person who doesn't know how to value customers and another who doesn't know how to groom poodles and leave them wet and the trim was horribke. I am so sad to leave this place.

First time getting my pup groomed in the city and it was at Healthy Spot! It seems like a fairly new location that aims to be integrated into the community (they had a free pet photoshoot during the holidays and have other events going on all the time)I was super happy about the groom - my dog was super cute but more importantly, she seemed pretty happy about the time she spent there (~3 hours).Typically $80 for dogs <10 lbs but first time customers can get 50% off if you download the coupon online!

I’m seriously so grateful for the team and services at healthy spot! They care so much about our pup Carl. Grooming, daycare, and all the clean dog products... it’s just the best. The staff are really the best. We would be lost without them! They’ve helped us in so many pinches. And our Frenchie loves to be there. PS. It’s also nice to go to the food park next door!

The staff us extremely helpful and friendly. We go there to get our dog's nail trimmed. He is an extremely nervous guy around his paws, but the staff is always so patient with him. Definitely recommend for grooming, dog treats, or dog toys!

Only 1 word for groomer go get some work ethic .please don't call themselves award winning groomer .today I received horrible service for my dog. I am going their regular but not any more after all good groomer left.this place is full off unprofessional. Not enough experience in their field.please healthy spot don't play with animals life for you its business to only make money but for us they are not animals our emotions and feelings attached with them they are part of our life.please ppl don't hurt your love one to bring them here. 🙏

I highly recommend Healthy Spot to all the dog lovers in San Francisco. I’ve went there for daycare, grooming, and purchasing dog supplies. They have high quality food, treats and toys, and the staff is very knowledgable about dogs and happy to answer any questions you may have.For their daycare, there is always someone in the room with them, and they are very good at handling the dogs.My dog went to get his nails done here once, and the groomer handled him expertly. He is a very sweet dog most of the time, but is a little difficult for his nails. He growled a little, but the groomer handled it calmly and did a fantastic job.They carry high quality dog brands like Puppia, Stella and Chewys, Small Batch Pets, and more. They are now my default pet store, and I would recommend them to any pet owner in the city.

The staff was amazing during our charity photo shoot! I had my hands full with our dogs so the staff were kind enough to grab the items I wanted for me and help me with my girls by providing them plenty of treats! We can not wait for our next visit. Woof 🐾
