Don’t know how many grocery stores I’ve written a review for, but this place is special… a true gift to the community!The selection is great, but the employees are even better! Good prices and a good experience!

The employees here need extra training or the management needs to hire people with grocery experience. An employee tried to tell me that bottled water was individually sold and not in the case. I told her this water is just regular flavored water like sparkling water but still water. I told her the current price at Safeway is around $3. I then told her I use to work in grocery for years and these bottled waters are never sold individually, especially not for $1.99 each. One case shouldn't cost $12 I told her this is not some special water from Whole Foods. She was like maybe.... I wasn't arguing but kept my cool. Splash Blast water isn't prestigious water for those looking for the finest of water.The manager didn't know what he was doing either. The same manager where I went there before and he didn't know California CRV was 5cents and 10cents. How did he become a manager, your guess is as good as mine. He finally came back after first checking his hand-held and then checking the shelf. Verified I was actually correct.No apologies from him and no apologies from her the one that made the mistake. She didn't say thank you or have a good evening. Just a little head nod.I've been shopping at this store since 2015 faithfully. Nearly every other day. I grew up in Visitation Valley when this store used to be a Mac Frugal's (Big Lots former name) and then later became a statue retailer and showroom. Visitation Valley had been a food desert for years till Grocery Outlet showed up. I'd really have to rethink my relationship with this store from now on.People check the computer while you're at checkout and check your receipts before you step foot out of that store. To the owner I'm pleading with you to train some of your employees. I've worked retail, understanding bottled water comes in a case and the CA CRV redemption values isn't that difficult.Management please retrain Liseth, or Liseth find another job the grocery industry just isn't for you. This place definitely has some low prices but not much variety. Unless you're willing to stop elsewhere to check off your shopping list, forget the list. You have to plan your meal once you're there according to what they've got which isn't very convenient.They have a very small meat and produce section and the rest is canned or frozen(kinda feels like walking through a huge pantry)They do seem to have quite a bit of alcoholic beverages to choose from and a lot of snacks both sweet and savory very fairly priced. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It's my go to store, great deals but watch the dates on items, some are old, expired or going to expire soon. I've been fooled by some dates and wasted money. Just bought some Angry Orchards and they are flat... again.

I rarely write reviews but thought i should give people a heads up. This store used to have good prices but greedflation has taken hold I think. I recently went there and the Oat Milk (all brands good and bad) was $4.99 for a half gallon and $2.99 a quart. All the stuff in the juice and dairy was extra expensive since a few weeks ago. The oat milk was over twice the price of the other grocery outlet on Bayshore (I would go there). Most everything at this store seems inflated and you can get better deals elsewhere, Even Trader Joes is cheaper (Costco also) for many things and better quality in my opinion. This store (and the chain in general) used to have really good deals and now they are few and far between - so much for "Bargain Market." Since Grocery Outlet went public it has gone downhill - good riddance. Also, check the sale prices (the few they have) carefully as when you get to the register you may be paying higher - have caught this more times then I can count.

Great selection of food, kitchen items, body care, sweets, pet stuff, organics. I have gotten good meat and cheese items here. Also butter and hummus! Sometimes great selection of plants and pots. Some great produce buys. Lots of frozen foods. Good cooking oils.Large beverage selection - dairy, cold drinks, alcohol.Excellent eggs in terms of choice and price.If you're a GO shopper, you know you never know what you'll find. Be ready to be surprised.This GO was a plant nursery fir a while and has nice plantings and wild Greco-Roman statuary at entrance to parking lot.Staff are efficient and friendly.It's a cheerful store.

While prices have gone up there still half the price as what foods co or Safeway charge for similar items. As far as our produce they actually have better produce and it's cheaper than FoodsCo. Great staff, friendly cashiers. 😄

This is definitely a go-to place, if not for the great prices, for the lovely people who work there. They provide a heartwarming environment and have great prices for high quality everyday products. Make sure to stop by for all of your grocery needs!

THERE ARE ENOUGH OF THEM IN THE CITY & THEY ARE DIVERSELY SPREAD OUT.IF I CAN'T FIND ALL THAT I NEED AT ONE LOCATION - I MAKE IT MY MISSION TO GO TO ANOTHER ONE.PICKED UP ORGANIC BANANAS & ORGANIC 100% PURE VERMONT MAPLE SYRUP, KETO MATCHA LATTE POWDER (CAFFEINE DOES THE OPPOSITE FOR ME SO THIS WORKS WELL TO GET ME GOING IN THE MORNING) VEGAN - GLUTEN-FREE - NON-GMO AND OAT SILK DAIRY FREE MILK.

This store will show you what discrimination feels like. I came once and I didn't like what I felt, came back to confirm what I experienced and let me tell you. As soon as you walk in the Security Guard will follow you and employees will follow you. By the other reviews it looks like they do this often to people.

On the tonight of August 16th, I pay $20.56 item.Because I had already given Cash $30 to her . The cashier woman of second window told me I pay the bill which it was not enough money 💰??? Why did you notice me that The price was overrun... She let me reduce another one at that time .I felt to cheat.By the time she told me this price $0.56 was free by herself my $8.44 had already flew away.....It was just a worst memory...😡😭

Friendly service. Decent prices. Clean and organized inside. Not as many item options as a more well known store, such as Safeway, may have. However, good selection of inventory overall.

Went to the supermarket to check out and the cashier said 20.84 and then something else. I don't understand what she means. I thought it was overpriced. When I came back to check the receipt, she wrote $20 on the receipt. But I gave her $30 and she didn't give me change, bad experience，My dad gave me two bills of different denominations, one is 20 dollars, the other is 10 dollars, but the clerk said I gave two 10 dollars, I have been to this supermarket a few times before, and this has never happened In this case, it is impossible for me to misidentify the currency denomination

Now I know how to grocery shop. There are some things that are cheaper here and some things are just the illusion of savings. You need to shop around to figure out what and where grocery outlet is lying by marking up their " illusion of savings". Because I don't know who they are comparing their prices to. Otherwise carry on I'm still going to shop here. Nothing new to update.

Don't make a list. Just go, and see what they have. Always really good Bargains. Mostly name brand products. Definitely worth the trip.

I always find things that are rare to find here. The owner is always helpful with ordering things when asking. They always have a great deal on wines 🍷 and champagne 🍾. One of my favorite grocery stores in San Francisco!

This used to be my favorite place to shop but now it seems like its under new management. I loved the staff, the products and amazing deals they had on the clearance section. Now you barely see and good products on their clearance shelf. Yeah I know it might have been messier in the past but I miss how this store used to be and the atmosphere there was because of the employees there. The new cashiers are nice but they just take way longer.

Love this spot for brick-a-brac. Rarely a repeat on many items. Reminded me of the old 99¢ Only stores. If you know the days they get merchandise in, you are certain to catch the chance to buy last chance food items! This store has employees that still smile, a cashier that bags your purchases at prices you haven't seen in a very long time. My favorite days to shop are Tuesday's and Friday's.
