My friend took my cat to this place for a grooming service. We ordered a $65 service but the staff charged us $150 for a reason stating that cats and dogs are different. We understand that cats can be tricky but this extra charge is unacceptable because we don’t see any clarifications on the website. The most disappointing thing is that even if they charged us $150, the service injured my cat. About 10 of my cat’s nails were polished badly, which caused bleeding and enduring pain to him. I sincerely suggest anyone who wants their pets get an affordable and nice grooming service reconsider their choice.

These guys charged me $85 and just cut chunks of hair off my dog in random places. When I called they told me they gave him a scissor trim. I also noticed his paw bleeding all over a clients house right after we left. Was never told they cut his toe. Terrible experience for me and no dog. No refund. Pics of his bleeding foot and strange random hair chops. I feel do incredibly ripped off. I ended up buying clippers from petsmart and doing it myself.

When I dropped off my dog yesterday to be washed he was a normal happy puppy. Since I’ve picked him up he has an extremely swollen/discolored eye and he is acting scared and flinching when I move near him. This is the 2nd or 3rd time we’ve been here and when we dropped him off he was completely terrified so it seems that something may have happened before and it finally escalated this visit. It’s terrifying that since I left my dog in your care it appears he was mishandled at best and physically abused at worst. I can’t imagine why anyone could or would do this to a dog, especially when people are trusting you with their animals. This issue must be addressed so this never happens again - to physically abuse innocent animals is one of the most egregious acts someone can commit. In the event that I need to bring my dog to a vet because of how he was treated and the injuries he received while in your care you should accept full responsibility for any bills incurred.

I really, really wanted this to be a great new find; just a few blocks away and the kid I spoke to on the phone seemed great. My dog hates to get his nails clipped with a phobic passion (I explained this when I booked the appointment and reiterated it again when I dropped him off) and they assured me it was no problem. I didn't flinch when he charged me extra (website lists $25, he charged $30) I was just so relieved to have it done (taking his word that it was) I even tipped him $10. When I was finally able to look myself I was shocked and disappointed to see that one of his dewclaws (the ONLY reason I took him in to begin with) didn't look like it had been cut at all! Only a few nails look like they were trimmed, and not well. I emailed Sunday and politely explained the situation; I wanted to give them a chance to make it right before I posted my review. Today is Wednesday and I haven't heard a word. I spent almost double their listed price and didn't even receive the basic service promised, one that my dogs health relies upon. The groomer took my money and lied to my face. Very disappointing, indeed.

I needed to get my fur baby groomed and didn't think anywhere would have availability but I messaged Benny & Sukis and got an appointment the next day. :)Im so pleased with the the service and the cut. Didi, the owner, was very diligent and payed attention to detail. He called me to double confirm the exact way I wanted my dogs leg hair shaped and it looks so adorable. I also liked that he was very welcoming wheni I visited the store. I usually go to PetSmart and get average service so I was delighted by Didi's warm welcome.When I picked up my doggy he was so happy because he knows when he looks good, trimmed, and proper.Thank you Benny & Sukis.

I got in for an appointment with Dre with very short notice - he took SUCH good care of my dog Ruby and gave her a perfect haircut. I’ve never actually had her groomed before and he knew exactly what to do and still left her looking like HER, which I appreciated. He was such a nice guy and I felt super comfortable leaving my dog with him. She looks so cute!

Wonderful groomers that truly care and love dogs! D is so sweet and caring and always does a great job. I live close by and whenever my dog Alfie passed by the window he always stops and wants to go in…my dog actually loves the groomer. I highly recommend.

LOVE Benny and suki’s. Dre has literally been THE ONLY groomer in the city to give me a fair price when grooming my 5 lb chihuahua. He also noticed I switched my dogs food and he was having a reaction Dre offered a complintary soothing bath a few weeks after. It also doesn’t hurt that the location is convenient. Show me a better pet groomer in the lower nob hill/ tenderloin area I’ll wait.

In terms of grooming, they are just okay. The place looks sketchy which made me very nervous about leaving my pup there. Dropped off my pup in the morning and was told that grooming would take up to 3 hours. Well, suprise surprise they didn't finish until almost 8 hours later. Wasted my entire day waiting. Unreliable place. I won't be back and can't recommend them.

I love this place! Our dog is a little... feisty so finding a groomer had proven difficult. This place took Bernie in and did everything we wanted! The owner even had stitches in his hand and was still grooming dogs! Definitely will be back when Bernie needs another haircut!

These people are seriously the greatest. They have went over and beyond my expectations. So my bf found an older female dog (and she is going blind, she can hardley see and inch in front of her, and she a healthy little girl, you can tell she was spoiled and did not missed to many meals (I thought maybe she could have possibly been pregnant she is so big) and brought her home cause she was found off Jones street and your can tell she has been cared for, she was spoiled and really well and if know she misses her owners. So a friend that lives in the same building as I do saw me with the dog and mentioned it should stop by there and maybe they could help. These guys have a heart of gold. They immediately took her and gave her a bath and cleaned her up and are.doimg doggie daycare during the day for me, which is a huge relief because with her eyesite going out I'm afraid to leave her home by herself. They even built a found flier for me and watched her while I put them up today. These guys are the sweetest people ever and I will now go on where but here for all my animal grooming, bathing, daycare, walks and over nights. I was pleasantly surprised that they do the mostly the same services for cats as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Benny & Sucks. You guys deserve more than 5 stars. If I could give you more I would. Thank you!!

I couldn’t recommend this place more!!! DD the owner was the nicest, most patient owner and groomer. I have a 16 year old shih-tzu who was traumatized during a previous grooming and combined with age just a grumpy little fella. I literally scoured yelp and google reviews which was a little stressful as it’s so hard to discern if a groomer can handle a more difficult dog, especially since he just overcame an ear infection so I was particularly nervous. When I called to make an appointment, DD was so nice and reassured me that he in fact had a grumpy dog on the table at that moment and he has a shih tzu of his own as well. DD met me outside the day of the grooming and was just super pleasant. And I was blown away at the service we received - DD really took his time and carefully worked on my dog and did such a great job! For all the time he spent (there was definitely overtime) he charged me the same price he had quoted me ($85). I absolutely loved his sincerity and the kindness you can tell he has towards dogs. DD has definitely become my go to in San Francisco! Thank you DD!!!

The owner/groomer is so sweet and kind to the pups. I brought my puppy for a puppy bath and he even added a oil treatment for her dry skin.Malika came back relaxed and seemed comfortable with him. Can’t wait to get her first haircut!

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. Wow. Walked in front of the door on the sidewalk around 10pm because the uber app said there was a scooter nearby. The African American male in the photo was extremely rude and asked what I wanted. I told him I was looking for a scooter to which he replied there ain't no scooter here fa**ot. I told him ok as I was walking away he and another man on the sidewalk started shouting obscenities. I was just walking down the sidewalk and it was extremely unnecessary for them to act like that.
