With everything costing more, you need El Super.PRO:- Excellent fruits and vegetable selection- Big Hispanic grocery store- Big meat department- Everything you need to have a Mexican feast, including marinated meat, fresh salsa and fresh crema by the pound- Check online for veggie/fruit specials on Wednesday- Check online for meat specials on Thursday- Check online for general specials on Saturday- Mexican food you can take home if you don't want to cook? YES!CON:- Limited organic fruits and vegetable selection- Regular American type food (ie. soups, pasta etc) are expensive here, you don't save- Like other reviewers, I can attest that it can be long lines here, long waits- Grouchy woman behind the Food Take away areaSUMMARY:If you are armed with a flyer or you check online for specials, you can save a lot. I have a vegetable garden and I can't grow vegetables for this price! Great value, great looking produce helps you to eat and your family to eat better for not a lot more.

I avoid this place at all costs, always so busy with the check out lanes having 2 or 3 cashiers that love to take their time. Prices are very affordable but the check out process is pretty bad

I have visited here on multiple occasions with my family and also by myself. On Sunday 18th February 2024 in particular I went to get a gallon of water. I usually have my bagpack🎒 on my back. The security guard came running up to me, said he was calling me. I said I am on the phone, after he realised this. He stated that you have to leave your backpack at the counter. I responded to him, I have came here numerous times and no one told me this the manager said this. I said ok,. However I am not leaving my bag there and to take out my wallet. At the entrance it has a metal detector I believe. As I went to the self checkout a lady was there with a backpack. I have went to so many groceries, never encountered this. If El Super at this location, you all are encountering problems, devise other methods. Especially if someone is just going for a gallon of water.

I have mixed feelings about it. The fresh meat department is a very slow torture. The produce is the best reason to go. The self checkout experience has improved a lot.

I was there this week and the ladies that work there are always in a bad mood. Leslie B was my cashier and she had a sour look on her face the entire time. They're always on their phones at the register which I think is unprofessional and rude. It shows that they're not paying attention to their jobs. I asked for a price check and she rolled her eyes at me. The men are always helpful and go out of their way to assist me. I think this store needs better hiring qualification for the people that are going to actually interact with the customerAfterall, they're the face of th business and are the last people you interact with as a customer.

Prices are cheap, but meat service is very slow , you have to wait at leat 20 mins for service, and the line to pay is horrible 3 of 10 cash registers open only!!! not even the 10 items or less was opened, I called the store and they only put me on hold.

Yummy 😋🤤😍🤗, for my Tummy!! My Son and I like to come here for lunch, for the hot food and fresh drinks😋👏! Better come on time because they Always cook limited Chili Relleno my Favorite, the refried beans and rice are delicious as well but for the price they give tiny portions ! I always get a side of carnita meat with a refreshing drink large size then sit down to enjoy a meal with my Son he orders differently every time but we enjoy the food 🤗!! I would ask that someone come out regularly to clean the tables because I have to clean the table every time 🤨!

The worst fish ceviche I ever had. Bought a two pound container. Straight in the trash it went. Their tortilla chips are good. Used them to get the ceviche taste out of my mouth. 🤮

Extremely slow service and very understaffed. Ordered a dozen tamales from their kitchen only received six but still charged for the dozen. When checking out there was no one on the register and the only option was self checkout. Took 15 minutes to checkout and there was only one person assisting in self checkout. Overall negative experience

Plenty of parking. Crowded. Long lines even with 5-6 cashiers open. Market geared towards Hispanic community;therefore, you won't find a vast selection of what you're looking for. Prices are much cheaper for vegetables and fruit here, but pretty equal to other grocery markets for everything else.

Clean grocery store and friendly local staff.The produce is also very clean and pretty, and their selection of Hispanic food items is plentiful.There are unfortunately no self check outs, and the check out lines tend to be very long and busy. Despite this, the staff is quick and effective.

I can go on about this place, I love it. I love everything about it, every time I go there it’s so amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing, even though that’s not really important, I just give it a 4 stars because the cashiers aren’t really quick and it holds back the line.. a lot.

I love the deals they have on fruit and vegetables, which you will find NO WHERE ELSE! SAVES YOU LOTS OF $$On the contrary,Almost every time I have been there , it is very busy and there are very few cashiers working. When paying, line moves very slow, so my advice is, if you visit this store make sure you have plenty of time and are in NO RUSH!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Store itself is great and the staff are friendly. However the upkeep in produce is not great. Lots of flies/ molding produce. However, everything else has been pretty good. Love the pupusas here they're delicious!

This is a good community market. Is bigger spread of products as opposed to some of the other localized cultural markets. Their kitchen is actually excellent. And the good assortments of dishes and the Mexican bakery products are very very well made. They were beautiful produce section and the checkout is always done very expedientlyI wrote this review pre-pandemic since then my experience at this market has forced me to change my opinion of this place completely. They're never enough cashiers, you wait forever in the meat department to get help. The managers who walk up and down the cashier are rude and never acknowledge you.With so much opportunity to do remote shopping I find that I have more pleasant interactions with the Amazon and WalMart delivery people than I do with the people who work in this store. Doing remote shopping I have greater choices and some better prices than I do hear at this marketI can't believe that on certain nights it will be only one cashier open and the line wraps all the way down the aisle. If you get to this market half hour before closing forget about even getting an extra cashier to open up, help finding products. The managers don't even care. Nowadays I only use this market what I need to get last minute vegetables milk eggs but forget anything else. This supermarket chain needs to wise up and see that just because they may see themselves as the the only game in this small part of town doesn't mean that the local town people will come to them. I can drive one mile to the market across town with better variety and two miles to a supermarket with better prices better quality and nicer people. Shame on you Super

My experience at this grocery store is that some of the cashiers was so rude to me. I was in the express line because i only had 15 items and I needed to pick up my son from school. It didn't say how many items for the express lane. After she was done with me she went on the loud speaker and announced that the express lane is for 10 items or less. I was so mad that i put my hair up and said was that meant for me? I said "Oh well" I've been in this line for 30 mins and I told her if she didn't like her job to work somewhere else . I told her you have to take me and ring me up, she rang me up but she was mad. She also announced in Spanish but I understand Spanish because I'm Filipino but I'm not dumb and the language has very similar words in Tagalog and my son's family is Hispanic so I know a lot of Spanish. She was a young girl. I didn't see her name because if i did i would of reported her to her supervisor. The only reason I went to El Super was because the vegetables were on sale and we needed some groceries for the house. Sorry that your review is bad but I didn't have a good experience and I will never ever go to El Super again. I will go somewhere else or I'll send my aunt to go to El Super. You suck El Super. Your customer service was absolutely terrible. I'm the type to go to the store and wait for that person to come out and say something or do something but it would be a waste of time.
