Location:Good, Parking:Okay, Service: Okay, Pros: Large amount of various feed for animals as well as other items. Cons: did not really see any. Overall: This was a first-time visit as I have past numerous times. I never knew the sheer size of the place until I walked in. I was amazed at all the different types of feed they had, and some I had never known existed. Based on my walk through, if you can't find it here, I would be amazed. I did notice that it took a while for someone to ask if I needed help. That was a bit surprising. I did get something for my sister's puppy. And the price was not too bad. So for this trip, 3.8 stars...

Come to this place for our dogs and bunnies. They have lots of good for your animals products at good prices. They cater to many different animals. Farm animals, domeatic pets. They also do adoptions of a mix of animals. There is alot to see here alawys something new. Definitly check it out. Its in the small little town of san dimas. Very nice place.

Came to buy hay but the bags were to big for my needs. While here, I noticed the rabbits are not housed properly. One rabbit was in a cage in the sun with no where else to go for shade or shelter. As a seasoned rabbit owner, I could tell that this rabbit was experiencing heat distress. I had to notify an employee that the rabbit was in heat distress and he put an ice pack in the cage. It is recommended by many vets and other experts that rabbits should have at least a 10 ft x 10 ft space to walk, run, stretch and stand properly. This space should not have a wire bottom because rabbit feet do not have paw pads, just thin skin and fur. They need small huts to retreat into for shade from possible sunshine or in order to hide and feel safe. I have visited other pet stores like one in Malibu that sells bunnies and they have them in a large pen on the ground and seem very happy. To the owners of the store, seeing the rabbits this way made me feel like not supporting this business at all. If you need assistance with a better housing solution for the rabbits, I would be happy to come and volunteer my time to help come up with ideas to make it better.

Large selection of top quality meal products, including quite a few for Bird, Equestrian and some exotic animals to boot. Great "Mon & Pop" atmosphere plus everyone working here is knowledgeable on the products they sell.P.S. Take a break from the multitude of "Big-Box" Pet 'Emporiums', "Ama-Zone", etc and help support your local, friiendly small businesses.

I look forward to my visits to the San Dimas Grain store. Parking is great. I walk in without interrupting the staff assisting other customers. I don't come here expecting emotional or psychological therapy. I help myself without being followed by staff. I take my time looking around at any products I may have missed on previous visits. The store is displayed beautifully. I love coming here from West Covina. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I recommend you stop by and see for yourself. Be safe.

I love it here. I take my pets to the animal clinic. It's inexpensive and fast. I also like to buy the pet flags and look at the kitties and birds.

It's been awhile since we've been here but was glad to see there's still a good, old-fashioned feed and seed store close by. They host a Vet clinic Saturday and Sunday mornings and what a blessing for getting our 2 big puppies their rabies shots! Will be back soon to pick up some other supplies.

We went to the weekend shot clinic for our foundling kitten. They were really nice and extremely gentle. It was super convenient. Vet checked her over. It's a good community service and very convenient. Good job, guys!

Walked in right as they were closing 4 on the dot and I only needed to grab two quick things. The front door was still wide open and a young clerk told me they were closed but I guess to be quick. Bunny food in one and and a bag of dog food in the other I was back up in front checking out. Paige was checking me out and informed me they don’t get paid for overtime? Pity but not my problem. I apologized for running in last minute I did not realize the time they closed and I just drove over for my boss. She proceeds to tell me I can tell my boss that ‘she is rude making them stay late, and again they dont get overtime’ I said I’m sure you get paid for tear down I mean she’s still counting the drawer and I’m paying with a card. She insisted they weren’t getting paid and it was my bosses rudeness and her fault I told her to back off if she wanted to call someone rude it should be her boss for not paying you to close the store properly. I was out of there by 4:04. Nasty badattitude normally a really friendly helpful place

I love this store. It has so many quality items for pets and livestock. I love the variety but most of all the quality. I purchase dog food and dog treats for my dogs here ever since I discovered the store about 2 years ago.

Went to purchase some items for my pet, hummingbird feeder, and miscellaneous items. The young lady was very Rude. She ignored me, and tossed my items to the side. When I purchased the items, she just threw the bag. I thought about her Rudeness and got my money back! Such a Witch!!

We have shopped here for years. However, the last several times we've been there, we experienced very rude treatment from the staff, specifically, Paige. Not sure what her position is at San Dimas, but if she's management, I feel sorry for everyone. She should be fired!!We are taking our business elsewhere.

The manager, a very nice Hispanic woman, was incredibly helpful to my wife in the phone, and to me in the store. I read a couple of bad reviews about a very rude person who worked at the store. Well, I met her. White girl who works in the back. Just a nasty, rude person who should never be in contact with any customers. I’m writing this so that the owners know who is working for them.

If you like rude staff and high prices, this is your place. I've been here a few times, and every time I come here it's the same. I really try to avoid coming here, but sometimes I don't have time to take a drive out to my regular feed store, and I'm sure that's the reason many others come here as well. In general the staff has a bad attitude, don't greet you, and act like you're bothering them if you ask any questions or want to check out. I don't expect superb customer service from anywhere, just a basic level. So, my standard is pretty low, and this store falls below it. The workers don't care, and don't try. Besides that, their prices are atrocious. It's fine if you need something small, but getting any bulk feed you're better off driving further to an actual feed store. I went in recently looking for medicated chick feed, and one of the employees said "they don't make that anymore", and anywhere I find it has old stock. No idea where she got that idea from, it's still available online and in person, so I just left. After that, I'm not even going to bother stopping by this place again.

Always worth stopping by here to check out their goods. We are regulars as they stock duck food and straw for bedding for our quackers. The staff always seems knowledgeable about animals and their feeding habits especially. The veterinarian service that is Saturday mornings is exceptional. It's a great place to get shots for your dogs and cats and is really inexpensive compared to going in for an appointment at the vet.

The feed store is in downtown San Dimas. A very cool old fashioned store. It has everything for all kinds of pets.Parking is limited so you may have to park a little ways. Otherwise, it is a nice place. Staff is very helpful.I would recommend this place for your pet needs.

I go here every month for a bale of hay for my bunnies. And pack of 1000 mealworms for my reptiles. Total is around $50. They have a variety of supplies and food items for all animals. Their prices are the best by far. The staff is super friendly and helpful.I highly recommend Grain San Dimas!

Good prices, I love the convenience of being able to get something professional for pets health.. these ladies know what they're doing. I love the quality of the products some hard to find like my pets favorite Canidae brand food. we adopted our puppy there.. they've been so helpful & he's wonderful great breed for our four grandchildren.💗they definitely know what they're doing. Great hens too! it's nice to go outside and get our own eggs everyday ..just takes a few of them and sometimes they're hard to find ready to lay already unless you want to buy like 12 so San Dimas Grain and Feed is the place to go👍 😠Thanks a bunch!🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐕🐕🐕🐟🐟🐱
