Our dog is very finicky when it comes to tooth paste. We bought it on the spot and returned it immediately after she didn't like it in the parking lot. Petco was very understanding and NO hassles returning the item.

We went about thirty minutes before closing time to get hamster supplies. There we saw a cute hamster and planned to but it. But when we reached the counter, where a man sat, indulged in his phone. They expected us to believe that they didn’t sell animals starting half an hour before closing! So we left, sorrowful and desolate, leaving that iPhone addicted man sitting at the counter.

Easy to shop, clean store. Employees are friendly. However I would suggest to anyone shopping in store to PLEASE visit their website prior to visit. We shopped in person and items were regular prices. I went home to compare prices and I saw their website was more than half off of the items I just purchased for buy online pick up in store! Save some money

Booked an appointment for grooming and the old lady there that she couldn't take my little dog bc it bit her. Lol, she didn't even bite her at all because my dog doesn't bite. She was just avoiding her negative energy. The way she approaches dogs is weird. That's why the dogs get scared and anxious. Instead of just taking it, she stares and acts weird out around it. That gives anxiety to dogs when you're not calm and relaxed. This is a little yorkie, so when you have bad vibes approach, of course they feel that. Nobody was there when I came in and it was raining. That lady was probably just too lazy to do it and just wanted to relax. She immediately told me to go somewhere else as she was not taking her. When I gave her the records (before she even said, she wasnt taking her in), she was also saying that rabbies shot was expired when it actually says on the paper that it expires 2025 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I told her, you can call the doctor yourself and actually find out, but no, they will let clients call for them. Ughh hello, customer service, where are you?! A simple call won't hurt. That alone proves that she just doesn't want to work and that she's just too lazy to work, im like "comeee onnnn my yorkie probably has more complete shot records and doctor checkups than that representative." Until I pointed out that the expiration is not until next year and that she was looking at the visit date on the document.🤦‍♀️ that lady doesn't know what she's doing for sure and definitely needs more training. This is my first visit and first try of Petco's grooming, and it's very unprofessional and wasted my time and gas going there. I was expecting a better experience since this is Petco!

I would say I am a regular here, constantly shopping for things for my dog and bird. The employees INCREDIBLE and always really helpful, and I've never once had a problem. I keep coming!

Jolinda @ the San Dimas store helped me today. She was extremely thoughtful and nice. She noticed one of the items I brought to the register was dented. I didn't mind, but she applied a discount I wasn't asking for or expecting. Thank you Petco & Jolinda! That simple act of kindness was so nice, especially lately as the world seems so rough. As silly as it sounds, that made my day!

Yesterday I went in to return unopened doggie diapers. I was told since the purchase was over 30 days ago that there is no refund or store credit. The clerk did not ask why I wanted to return them.

I ordered a crate online and realized when I got to the store that it was too small. Amber, the customer service salesperson was amazing. She helped me find the right crate, helped me price match the item and was overall fabulous. I loved my experience and while there is another large chain pet store closer to me than Petco, I will most definitely shop here again due to the excellent customer service.

The floor team member was very knowledge about reptiles. She taught us some facts, informed us of upcoming opportunities to save on a purchase of one and even have us a printed educational brochure about them. I am so impressed, that I have made my mind to purchase one from the same site because I am confident they can help set me up correctly and for a fair price.

Couldn't get help getting some fish when the place was dead. The employee I asked for help said ok. Then came back to tell me it would be a while. Waited for a "while" while she walked back and forth from the registers restocking or taking inventory. Eventually I just left.

So far this location (Haun Rd.) has been good to me. Just got a new puppy last weekend and went to Petco to grab a few items. One of the employees working the floor was super helpful. She literally walked me through all the items I needed and showed me the items I could get for FREE with coupons, etc. These were items that were on my list already, and she wasn't pushy or trying to convince me that I needed them, etc. She was simply being helpful. My total came to $96.57, but after coupons, it was $44.63Good deal, good service, clean store, I'll be back!

Took my dogs to get nails cut and Kendia is the best. She's so patient and loving to our 3 girls. They aren't the easiest to handle and she has no problems working with them. We hit the jackpot with her.

Told the associate that I needed assistance and he said it’s out of stock and didn’t even bother looking further or helping to guide me to where I can find it at. Apparently they were more concerned about the repairs going on in the building than helping!

I was greeted upon arrival from the cashier who was also assisting someone. On my way to the dog food section, an associate greeted me and asked if I needed help. I didn't need any help, but was appreciative that I was acknowledged. All the staff that I encountered acknowledged me first and were very nice.

Petco is my go to store for all my dog’s needs. Amber is a wonderful employee there I always get so happy when I see her because I know that she provides me with 5 star service !!She also trained my German Shephard when she was a puppy and she is such a well behaved good girl now .

Tim is a nice guy. We bought some dog food with raw pieces and there were no raw pieces. Since we had lost the receipt we got store credit but, was able to get the dog another one with raw pieces as we check in the car this time to make sure. Thanks for always taking care of our pet needs.

Very knowledgeable staff about their various pets, especially Tim.However, last night I had the worst experience ever there. I arrived about 10 minutes before closing time with my son to buy a fish. We waited behind another customer who was buying fish, and when they were done that salesperson told us that we are not able to buy a fish because it was 5 minutes before closing time and she cannot help us. Very rude and inconsiderate!

Really nice clean store, very friendly staff. Way over priced. I literally bought something and then went to another store minutes later and found I spent $10 more for nearly the same item. I had to drive back and refund. I get that online is killing everything but price gouging is not the solution. Downsizing and price matching is the way to draw people to your store!
