This Walmart is hit or miss... sometimes they have everything in stock.. sometimes there's nothing and everything is scattered everywhere... Its a huge store tho and they have TONS of stuff, which is a plus. They have Prime Hydration drinks aswell as Mr Beast Feastables chocolate bars! You can almost get anything here. I feel like the food area is super super small compared to the rest of the random stuff they have.. could definitely have a better layout!

I do not like this Walmart it is by far the worst one in San Diego. The aisles are never free of boxes of employees unloading or restocking there's always a hindrance when you're trying to get from one side to the other. And let's please not mention the staff. Ask for a manager you'll get someone of less quality of life pretty sure her name was Kim this last one! Wow, exactly what you would expect from a low quality place. Attitude attitude attitude not to mention appearance was less than what a manager should portray. It is no wonder why her subordinates are the way they are! If you have to go to a Walmart I strongly suggest the one on Lost coaches road because that one is top notch I never am disappointed there. I'd rather drive 30 minutes out of my way then ever go back to the store again.

William was very kind at pickup. Highly recommend doing Walmart grocery pick up orders. You can even bring your own bags now and don't have to take their plastic bags.

Selection is lacking versus other locations. They frequently shutdown self-check out with no notice. People who shop here are often rude and aloof, not caring about proper shopping etiquette. Kinda 'hood.

Hiring manager’s secretary or assistant/associate REFUSED to send me a new acceptance email for the job offer, despite telling her that I no longer have access to the email I applied with. I spent 1 hour waiting to get that email or a callback after being told to reapply, call her & then she’ll send me the job offer via email. Never got ahold of her again. They never reached out either. I should’ve went directly to the hiring manager but she was busy and never called me back.I left a message with phone operator for associate. Also this store is notorious for being one of the worst Walmart in SD.

Surprisingly the check out was great we pretty much walked right up to the cashierThe reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because there really wasn't a gift for a boy turning 7 all the choices sucked

Just got off the phone with a so called customer service rep and the manager, terrible attitude because I bought rotten chicken from the store, tossed out receipt with my bags, my purchase hasn't hit my account yet as it was on Saturday. I just want to get fresh chicken that I paid for and didn't get. Both had rotten attitudes

The store has what you need but when the self check out machines not machine doesn't work so you are not standing in a line?Most people swipe card's there and I think they are steering customers to the line's to have cash in the register.

First time in this particular Walmart and I was pleasantly surprised. It was very well stocked and clean. It was busy as can be expected on a Saturday morning, but I was able to find parking no problem.

Well it's a mediocre store. The store in my area has closed down, without even considering the neighborhood that they should have been proud to serve.Albertsons and Ralph's get our business on groceries. I'll stock up on home, toiletries, laundry items when I'm at a Super Walmart.Have to admit Walmart really is kinda generic, they pay their help hardly nothing, and they seem to know nothing. Or care about anything.We pay more now. But the product selection is better, much better bakeries, great Deli, and their employees know about products, are more professional and courteous. Walmart has taken a dive. I'm kinda glad though. You should take care of your employees and Walmart is truly a disgrace to its own, and it's Customers.

This is my favorite Walmart but what would make it perfect will be finding beatbox sold here! Beatbox is an amazing super delicious alcoholic beverage that has been blowing up and has been everyone’s favorite

When we come to San Diego, this is the only place where we know we can shop for Gluten Free Items at very reasonable prices. And to make it easy for their clients, all the GF items are ALL in one aisle, so no searching the entire store for what you need. Staff is always pleasant and ready to assist.

Xmas eve I received the worst service from a girl named Jordan in the tech department . She is NOT competent in the customer service field. Her attitude is disgusting & it shows with the way she “assisted” us customers. I understand as a customer service worker myself that it’s a busy time to be a retail employee, but to receive the snappy attitude response I received as she was prioritizing assisting another coworker instead while he was off the clock purchasing something, is not a good look.Her department wasn’t slammed and busy for her to be acting that fed up.

I prefer the LaMesa location for good atmosphere. Some of the people at the College location are rude. The staff hover over you at the self check out. Just get rid of the self check out. Then you won't have to worry about the customers that steal.

Didn't have a disabled cart for me to shop with so by the time I got to check out, the staff could see me sweating and in great distress. So they checked me out though I was in self check out.

Purchasing a $1.47 nail brush that’s locked up in the cosmetic department. Standing in line while people with lots of items want to use that register to check out. Just to stand in line a second time because someone has to unlock the item. What a horrible experience.

Check out, damn card reader took at least 12 entries and 4 slides before it read as approved. Sign reading "CASH ONLY" should have been displayed.

There's a lie of traffic here but that's because there's a ton of great deals at this Walmart. Stock is great as far as being in stock and having a variety of items especially for the holidays. Also visited the pharmacy for the first time and it was busy but the people working there were EXTREMELY helpful and courteous.

What do you see when you go to many grocery stores and the many targets well stocked safely displayed products that customers can come near . With many stores that take time in getting any departments stocked and displayed but there are ones that make messes all over the store .One of the many stores was Walmart at College Grove I see so many people that go and shop at I had found many things that shocked me . My shopping experience at Walmart it was very cold the many I had encountered there was no greeting just rudeness from entering the store .There was many workers that were wearing masks other stores I had were very welcoming and very friendly seeing many Isles that were not well kept and the many food not stocked or empty. Many Walmarts do take pride in stocking yet there were many open areas and the pallets and carts left out . Customer service at the location was very rude I found many of the workers had a great knowledge finding products there was a very cold welcome .During the pandemic is that Walmart would stock at night and the many pallets were cluttering the many depts some products that were left in grab boxes . There was several departments of the electronics that had big dump boxes of books which seemed very odd . As a reviewer there was many things the employees need to is customer service and helping the front for customers to get help checking out .

Normally I'd give 4 stars. They are always overly crowded and busy, if that makes sense. Lately, they are ALWAYS out of the cat litter I *need*, which is inconvenient. Tonight, however, I noticed 2 things: 1, there are several incredibly petty, low budget craft items locked up. Walmart, you aren't losing money on tacky glue, and I sincerely doubt anyone is getting high from it.Secondly, the Walmart associate in 2, z19 Tonight is the rudest associate I've ever come across. And I've been to a lot of Walmarts in many states. Is that the reason she has no name tag???? This trip was garbage and a waste of my gas.

I have gone to this Walmart to develop some photos. The salesperson guy was nice and polite and well organized worker. He helped me with the order. I was pleased. He had dreads locks. He is a great person and did his job well. I will shop here again.

Customer service has gone up, like better service than medical overall. Over the past 6 years the customers seem happier and I haven't had 1 single person threaten to hurt me. If you enjoy Spanish music, they play it for customer enjoyment, but everyone, but mostly staff members are running into me. Poor guys, they must be working them like slave drivers!
