I was very happy to find an extra small inflatable e-collar at this location after striking out at many other pet stores. When I approached the associate and asked where their e-collars were, the associate, kindly walked me through the store and showed me three different areas with different options. I would not have seen all of these options as they were spread out in different areas. It was very helpful to find the one that worked best for our kitten!

Great first time experience. Everything was easy to find. Plenty of treats that I use for training my pups, and good quality ones too.The staff was great. Kept it short and sweet.This was the best unleashed I went to yet.

Petco is great. This one in particular is a dog and cat -focused version that's smaller than a normal Petco. It still has what I need most of the time. Employees are helpful, store-brand products are decent quality and much more affordable than name-brands.

Better than going to a real Petco. Kudos for Unleashed carrying the Stella and Chewy brands. PetSmart doesn’t, so partner and I made the switch here.Parking is a hit or miss depending on the time, but there are a few street spots with meters. Neighbor is the same depending on time of day. But aside from those, staff is friendly, haven’t had issues here. Wish they gave these folks a better building with bigger parking. Maybe switch the locations between the Petco on Friars and here? Unleashed folks deserve a bigger spot for sure.Cheers

My grand nephew is so picky with his treats I had the poor sales associate made 2 separate exchanges until I caved in and bought the treat she suggested (which she gave to my furry one)#asianauntie strugglesI like it here so much I will apply to work on the weekends for the pet therapy and 2 jobs. Why not, please #husbandjesus?!

The staff here is so nice, they welcomed our new rescue dog with some treats and coupons to use. We got some great essentials and toys and treats... They even have a bulk treat section. They also do vaccines in store in occasion.

Great store to shop at for your pets the people here are very helpful and polite they greet you right away. I don't have any animals myself but this store is pretty nice. Come check it out when you can !no it hasn't changed much at all.

Wonderful caring manager Paris takes this place to heights above the average Petco. She will make the effort to search for that elusive product no matter your objections. She cares and goes the extra mile.

Came on a Sunday around 4:31pm. So far please here seem her the staff is very nice and they seem very happy, I personally would be if I got to work with did of all shapes and sizes. The store suited more towards did an cat's and not so much other animals, but there selection is, week seems to be very extensive. I won't lie it's so nice seeing a store that has such a wide variety where I'm located in San Diego it's almost overwhelming and definitely is store you got to take your time in they have large selection of foods toys harnesses and more for all dog ages and sizes definitely a fun place to go with your furry friend and a place where expect to take a little time to go over all the selections. Me personally I might have to come back for round 2 because there's more look at that I can do in one sitting they're going to get used to me or think I'm crazy LOL. Show me stores that allow your furry friend or more than amazing bring the whole family or just yourself for your friends everyone's welcome.!

Stayed open late for me - and they were both ready to go home… but still stayed and helped me pick out a collar and name tag for my rescue pup! Dog food was $1 more than I pay at Walmart but service was great!

My German shepherd loves going to Unleashed, where everyone is so friendly and always gives him a treat. Unleashed is smaller than its full-size owner, Petco, but it has a very good product selection. Also, the sales reps are very knowledgeable and personable. I deducted one star because Unleashed products are somewhat pricey. But when I don't have time to order online, Unleashed is where we go.

Great location in central Hillcrest area. This location is smaller in size and has a local neighborhood family feel. A lot to choose from for your fur or feather babies. Easy to find what I am looking for. Im in and out in about 3 minutes. Very kind team members. Everything is close by; UPS store, pizza, burritos, boba tea cafe, coffee shops, elementary school, many restaurants, massage, gas station, hospital, etc. You can run all your errands simultaneously in the same area.

Took one look at my return and refused to even process it because of wear. Well duh my dog wore it and it didn’t work out for us. I called Petco and they gave me a full refund and I got to keep the merchandise. I’m glad the company understands the value of a lifetime customer. Never had this issue at other locations that gladly exchanged gifted items or even helped me get discounts by taking the time to show me price matching deals.

Most of the selection for cats is good. What you see is what you get though. Ask staff any other question and they will literally tell you just that.
