I took my baby here today! And you guys are amazing. My dog has fear towards other dogs ever since she was attacked and they totally understood my situation and offered to take me in as soon as they opened. They were all kind and loving towards my dog, she was very scared and had her German shepherd dramatic genes come out 😂. I highly recommend this place and I will come here from now on!!

Brought my Honeybee in for a bath and a haircut. She arrived with matts and departed with a perfect coat and a wonderful cut. Sorry I don’t have a better photo just trust me. She is perfect. 💕 And the charge was very reasonable.

Love this place! My husband and I have taken our dog here a few times to do the self-wash with blueberry facial and we always have a great experience. The staff is super nice and helpful!

New to the area but not new to washing dogs, fluffy girl is starting to blow out so she needed a basic wash. The service was one of the cheaper services but what a service it was. Employees ensured I knew how to work the hose and pressure, made sure my pup was calm and happy, gave me a run down on how long to use their products, and of course was socially distanced from other customers. Pupper is pretty much a veteran with the force dryer but was still fitted with an ear hood just in case.Despite my being short I was given step stools on both sides of the tub and was overall very comfortable with the experience. Will definitely go again!

Amazing service! My dog had gotten into a tussle with a stray cat and the cat managed to pee on him. I was able to take my dog to South Bark dog wash where they were able to get the cat urine smell off of my dog. They are super friendly and actually care about their clients! I definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to get their dog professionally groomed.

I went here for the first time today, looking for a quick chew to keep my dog happy and occupied while I worked at a coffee shop.I walked away with her nails trimmed, a new treat bag, and plentiful recommendations from various staff members who checked in on me.I will absolutely be back for her nail maintenance and treats. Great experience.

Staff was amazing my dogs loved the facial. Only dog wash ive been to that had a hip harness for my old boy who cant stand for long period. Also the only dog wash ive been to that had aprons for little kids. I go to a lot of dog washes because i travel the country in my rv fulltime and this was one of the best!

My dog hates baths, but I love this place, and she smells fantastic for at least 2 weeks after her monthly wash. They provide you with all the items you need for self service, and have a fair price for the washes that they preform for you.

We love this place...and more importantly, the dogs do too! The setup is great with the outdoor space for waiting/brushingand then nice high tubs for washing. The people who work here clearly love dogs and are very helpful. I have an old large dog and they helped lift her in and out of the tub for me. They think of all of the details and the blueberry products smell divine! My dogs felt soft and smelled great for days afterwards. We'll keep coming back...especially after fun at the Grape Street dog park.

My dog was smelly af. I was hoping I'd find a good reasonably priced groomer to take care of my puppy and give her a good thorough bath and trim her nails. South Bark was super nice and profession and really quick! They took good care of Bao and made sure she had a good time. Highly recommend them!

I made an appointment online for both of my dogs. The staff greeted me by name and had 2 tubs ready and waiting for me.We got the blueberry special with ear cleaning and dryer. They have made everything so easy compared to my bathtub at home. I highly recommend the dryer. I will be bringing my dogs here for now on.

Love this place! I drove here from El Cajon to give it a try as the self grooming place in LA Mesa just wasn't cutting it. Here they actually talk to you and your dog. Being very kind. Also the blueberry shampoo is sooo worth it. They even had a little hood for my scared sheltie as I blow dried him. Definitely worth the cost for great service and equipment.

I came in with no appointment but they gladly fit me into the schedule and they were patient with me.The quality of the product they have in the store is great and will be coming back, some of the things they sell is hard to find in a regular pet store.

I have personally only taken advantage of the self-wash services at southbark but have had a great experience both times. The elevated tubs save my back. The staff is always eager to assist and make sure I have everything I need. All in all, exactly what I needed.Freshly washed and dryed Flufferino photo attached.

I am in San Diego for 3 months, as we spend out winters here and trying to find a self service dog wash in this area much like the one that I use back in Maine was somewhat difficult. I was referred to South Park Dog Wash today by some local dog owners in much to my surprise. It was an absolutely amazing experience here from the start of the phone call with a kind, courteous woman explaining everything to me in detail to showing up and the staff was absolutely incredible kind and very helpful. The facility was super clean and stocked with some great supplies, my dog started off with a warm, blueberry facial massage, followed by my dog, having her teeth brushed to me doing a self-service wash, and then a full dryer outside, and a great area. 5 star ⭐️ service and staff.

Really bad customer service. Got it to wash my dog at 4:31pm and attendant would not allow it because they close the washing stations at 4:30pm. She wouldn’t change her mind. Long time neighbors and this attitude is less than desirable. Avoid this place.EDIT for the owner: No, your staff wasn’t doing their job. If that was the case then you should be out of business. Your staff was rude, condescending and unhelpful as she was on the phone. She asked if we were some people who “walked out on them” or something and I had no clue what she was talking about. This negative attitude was obviously on purpose (WHILE still holding a phone on her ear). If this is how you treat your regular neighbors then boy oh boy. But if your answer as a business owner is that your staff was “doing their job” then I understand where this attitude comes from.

My husband and I took our chocolate Labrador for the first time last Sunday and I have to say I was overwhelmed at the amount of love and attention to detail the staff had for their craft and the animals. It was incredibly easy to book online and everything we needed for the bath was all there. From brushes, towels, aprons, warm cleaning solutions to the temperature of the water, everything was nicely set up and explained to us. Having a dog that is over 100lbs, I am often very hesitant to take him anywhere because he is so big and he can be too much for some people. I was very touched to see how kind and loving they were to my dog and never once made a comment that made me feel like my dog wasn’t welcomed or an inconvenience. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the store, the kind words, and the love that has been poured in your business. It is evident that you have a very loving team. I’ll make sure to take pictures of Bear next time. Highly recommend.Thank you so much for everything, we will be back soon!
