Kinda tight quarters = smaller shopping carts=less food bought. It has the basics. I would like more vegan-ish options for some stuff. Not sure how many options there are though. Great for the area

Ok guys. I always shop at Ralph's so I'm a fan anyways, but I wanted to share with u all that I went to go get some coffee creamer and walked by the hot food section and I smelled delicious Baby Backed Pork Ribs. Oh my goodness. I grabbed the ready made food in the food warmer section and couldn't wait to get home to chow down. The smell and taste matched so scrumptiously! I couldn't have been happier. I'm not a big meat eater, but I made an exception to Hardwood Smoked Baby Back Ribs! Move aside burger. I enjoyed my lunch! Nummy!😋😋😋Ok, update 3/2/22If you're looking for a birthday cake with a gentle budget (wine taste on a beer budget), here's a white and chocolate layered 🎂 that passes the taste and beautiful 😍 display test..moist and delish....I forgot to buy birthday candles so plz don't laugh at the silly 3 wick candle in my pic below. 🤣😂🤣Update 11/25/22For Thanksgiving / Birthday celebration, I got an amazing Tres Leches Cake. People loved it! Didn't care too much with the baker's handwriting but thr cake was great!

Good selection of items at prevailing inflation. Location is close to freeway. Lots of people outside hanging around the store which creates a disconcerting situation. Feeling of unease shopping in this branch store.

I will drive to Bonita to never go to this Ralphs again. As I was shopping, an employee stocking shelves placed her stepstool directly in my path so I was unable to get down the aisle. While she has a job to do, she wouldn't have a job if it was not for the customer. And to only have one cashier on a Friday morning is just poor management. This isn't the Dollar Tree.

I have been shopping here since July 2023 and never had an issue until a racist White woman, namely Tracy, the Store Manager took a picture of me in my car because I walked into the store to check the prices of the meat. I did not like the prices and took my reusable bags out of the store with me that I brought into the store. She thought that I was stealing she hung up on the phone when I asked her why she took a picture of of me and yelled at me in my car. She told me she was going to call the police on me and I have done nothing wrong. I want to make this a public record. I am calling the police on her. I am a college student majoring in psychology with a 4.0 GPA at SNHU my husband is a SD City Contract Armed Security for the MTS contract with Intercon. There is no reason why I should be harassed like this. I just moved here from Las Vegas I have never had a problem here at this store. All of the employees are so nice and helpful. The manager racially profiled and harassed me. I’m coming back with my husband and the police to press charges against this woman.UPDATE:Two officers responded to the Alta View Ralphs after I called the police for false allegations and racial profiling. My husband had to leave work early, and I had to call out from my job at UPS today due to this debacle. After the officers spoke with Tracy, the Store Manager, she admitted to the officers after reviewing CCTV Footage that I am indeed INNOCENT. She DID NOT apologize. The officers suggested I stop shopping at this store due to her unwarranted aggression. I am pursuing this within the corporate office of Ralphs in Compton, CA. Under no circumstances should a hateful, stereotyping, racist woman be the General Manager of a grocery store. I am extremely disgusted and honestly SCARED after the aggression that I endured at this location.

Our go to store as Ralph's is so close at home plus it even carries Asian produce which is really a plus. There are items to that goes on sale and way affordable using your R. card. With the parking, I prefer coming here early as 30 to an hour to avoid the crowd during holidays.

2020_I like a clean grocery store. At this Ralph store the floors are clean and shiny. The produce is always fresh. I really like their produce. Prices are generally lower than Albertons.2022_update. Starbucks coffee inside. They can grind the beans for you.Order ahead groceries and have it delivered to your car. Saves time and energy!

I love coming to this Ralphs it’s so convenient for me close to home but sometimes I stop in to buy dinner after work and the costumer service where they sell hot foods is not good they need to be more attentive with costumers.

This is my store. Today went for fried chicken at about 3:30pm not expecting any to be there. It's hit or miss but today they had fried chicken, baked chicken, rotisserie, onion rings! Left happy! I wish they had it like that all the time! Love the sushi counter too!

I've seen three fights here. Not really fistfights, mostly hair pulling and scratching, but not what I want to see when grocery shopping, especially since stopping a fight might get you cancelled these days. In all three one person wanted to fight, and the other didn't. Be careful going there.

I love the cakes there and i love the taste but they should be more careful with the sanity of the bakery because i bought a buttercream cake which look deliciousWhen i opened it and about to eat it, i found outa hair or a cockroach leg on the side of the cake 🤢& to add it up an ant was there ! right in the middle! 🤦🏻‍♀️Im not sure what it was & i End up throwing it away.Bad experience i dont know if i would buy again unless i make them open it before To make sure doesnt happend again 🤮but thinking about that i dont know how they would make them.

A very decent store that has always carry fresh meats & produces compare to other locations. The meats & seafood are always fresh & delicious at this specific store located at Woodman Street Exit off the 54 freeway.

Starbucks in this ralphs is trash!!! Walked in server serves customer in front of me then proceeds to close when the hourson the sign in front of me says 6a.m-8p.m ! Its 5oclock and you can't take 1 more customer?!! She replies, "we are short staffed, and I have been here since noon!? That's not even 4 hours!! Get it together! There are people who acrually want to work more than 4 freaking hours! Ridiculous!

Honestly I love this store, come here frequently because so convenient to where I live. The employees are so friendly and most of them recognize me and my children every time because they've worked there so long. A few of them comment on how big my children are now because they've seen them since newborns. Prices are very competitive and I always feel like I'm getting quality food. Store is well kept and always see someone going around with a broom or cleaning handles. I appreciate it even more that during these crazy times they clean the machine between customers at self checkout. They are doing what they can to be safe during this pandemic and I truly appreciate that. Parking lot can be a pain because so many other businesses in the strip but I just park in the back and I'm good. A little walking never killed anyone. Stay safe SD 😊

The Hispanic gentlemen working self checkout today at 4:30PM with a pony tail and glasses, SUPER RUDE! Couldn’t even help me with the items I was wanting to purchase and just said “can’t buy alcohol here, go over there!” — without even willing to help me with cancelling my transaction and directing me where I needed to go. The lines was INSANE. I had to wait just to get out of that tight space in self checkout.
