My favorite PetSmart place! Usually well stocked. The store associates are usually quick to assist with finding items for the customer and the cashiers are great with customers. The veterinarian is a super caring person and the other staff is too. I feel that I can trust my pets to be in their care.

800 in VET bills and she is now diagnosed blind!She was my service dog for years now I am hers!! Beware!Do not use petsmart for grooming. II found out after we took our dog there that they train their bathers to the groom, they're not licensed qualified groomers. We got a newcomer who cut my dog's eye above the eye led to an infection of my dog looks like she's probably blind now. Unfortunately, when we first realized it, we didn't call them. We thought it was just a minor cut that caused an eye infection. 800 in VET bills and she is now diagnosed blind!She was my service dog for years now I am hers!! Beware!

I love this staff! I've been to other grooming places and hands down, this is the best one yet. They actually care about my Rodeo. Juniper is always the one I see there and he is absolutely incredible with my baby! My go to place for sure!

Large, clean store with an amazing assortment of pet needs. I purchased a stainless steel bowl water dispenser and my kitties (and I) love it. It looks nice too.The staff is very friendly and professional. The store is in a centrally located area on Rosecrans across from In-n-out Burger.If you have pets and are in the area, check it out.The new Veterinary Clinic inside is absolutely the BEST and does spay/neuter and other vet services.Great prices and amazing staff.Huggable!!Good job guys and gals! Keep it up!

They had everything we needed ..doggie harness, lease, wild birdseed, chewy snacks, cat food, wipes for the pup, fish tank ornament and more. Very happy with our experience. Oops. Forgot to take pictures. Next week for sure.

Not happy with the veterinary service.. an ear recheck turned into a wellness exam which was not needed and they attempted to charge me $1000 bill… Very condescending veterinarian that day and I won’t be going back and I won’t recommend veterinary services there either.An ear recheck and a blood test should be exactly that – not the third degree about the dogs health which has already been established. Nickel and diming a customer for services which were rendered a month before is ludicrous.

The employees were very helpful with all my questions especially the dog trainer with the really short hair. I think their name was Ash, but they were so kind and patient with our wiggly corgi puppy helping us find a harness that fit him perfectThey were just such a huge help I wanted to thank them again!Tip: rent the carpet shampooer for puppy messes

It was incredibly clean on the floor. They did have quite a bit of boxes of stock that were on the aisles but generally speaking, it was okay. No long line, no exceptional customer service either but when I asked for what I was looking for the lady stated that she did not have any pet trackers and that I could probably go to Target. Not the best suggestion if you're trying to sell things from your own company...IF I was the manager I would say go to our PetSmart website Yada Yada yada... but Target I went thanks for the suggestion.

Was sent this location from the one is mission valley because The tank I acquired for my new turtle was here. Dennis helped me out with everything and gave great advice from gravel to the cleaning supplies. As a first time turtle owner I wanted the best and she (Squirtle) and I were definitely not disappointed. Amazing customer service!

The store was clean and had a large selection. The staff or workers were 3 out of 5. I was trying to get my dog a new harness but no one seemed to be able to tell me any type of knowledge around which harnesses are better than others or maybe a collar would work just as much. Would have been nice to not have to google the info I was trying to get.

We entered the store around 15 minutes before close time and we finished checking out BEFORE close time, no one told us that they were going to close soon and a worker also saw us walking around adding stuff to our cart and didn’t say anything. We got to check out BEFORE 7 and the cashier told us they were already closed and we couldn’t get checked out even though we had everything ready in our cart. Workers fail to mention and also have us waste our time trying grabbing items for our pet. Very disappointed and unprofessional.

Best customer service that I have ever received at a pet store. From walking in, to the grooming staff, to the cashier- the staff was so caring, friendly and knowledgeable. My dog, Charlie Brown, was treated like a king.. He was very happy with his bath and taco bandana. Thank you team! I love my gift bag, treats, coupons and new customer discount (great deal)!! I will be a customer for life.

Went there for the first time and really impressed with service. Michael took his time and explained everything. I picked up my dog 2,5 hours later and was happy with the haircut - clean with perfect length.

Had a great experience adopting my newest family member Weston James. I came here after there were some shifting in my house which led my cat Tito without a buddy on my long work days.I originally saw a different cat online that I thought would be a good fit but after stopping in and meeting Weston... I knew him and Tito would be a great pair.The process was rather simple as petsmart was using Southbay Cat adoptions as their agency.The process was maybe too simple and I felt like almost anyone who filled out an application could foster a pet. Within 2 days Weston was home with me.Pros: fun and adventurous cats and team dedicated to finding homesCons: they didnt have much history on the cat..where he grew up, why he was in a shelter, no medical info (other than shot records). There was no complimentary vet visit like most shelters offer so I was out of pocket on the first visit.Either way, I found a new family member and couldn't be happier. I think he is too!!

I have been taking my husky pet for two years in this petsmart location for grooming. Every visit my pet has is a awesome service from starting from booking the appointment, check in and check out. Juniper is pet groomer where the service was extra than I expected even give me coupons for my next visit.Thanks

Went here for a grooming appointment for my dog (bath and brush). The staff were very nice and friendly, but when I picked up my dog a few hours later she wasn’t brushed or maybe it was very cursory (long haired shepherd so I can definitely tell!). She isn’t the easiest dog to groom, sure, but I have never had a problem before and she normally loves being brushed. It was surprising to me that literally half of the service I paid for wasn’t done (and the brushing is the east part for her!). I did it myself when I got home. I feel bad because the groomers seem very nice, but I don’t feel like I got what I paid for.

I would not recommend the grooming here they barely bathed my shepherd she is visibly still dirty. They said she was extremely difficult because she kept trying to jump up. Not sure but I feel that groomers should know how to handle a situation like this instead of charging me full price for a job that was hardly done. My shepherd is also 12 years old with bad hips so I’m not sure how much jumping up she was doing that prevented hardly any grooming to get done. I’m extremely disappointed I’ll never be coming back here or to any petsmart again. My groomer was ryan so if your dog is perfect then I’m sure he can groom them. Ears are still sandy from the beach. No discount paid over 100$ for this.

Groomers do just enough to say they did it and if an dog is difficult they won't even try. They also don't listen bc I told them what not to do but they thought they would try it anyway. First visit was many years ago. Gave them a second chance at a new different location. Should have learned after the first time. We won't be back.

We took our Saint Bernard to this location to be groomed today. We had an appointment at 2 pm however at 11:30 this morning we received a phone call asking if we could bring him in then instead. We were only 20 minutes away so we decided to come early. When we got to the salon, the groomer immediately said he wasn’t sure that he was going to fit in their kennels. (We have a male Saint Bernard who is quite large). He said he was going to groom our dog first though so we left him and asked how long it would be so that we could be there when he was ready due to this comment. He told us it would be about 3 hrs to complete the grooming appointment. We just came back to pick up from his grooming appointment. It has been 3.5 hours since we dropped him off, and no one has even touched him. He did not even get a bath. Our poor dog sat in a kennel for 3.5 hrs that by their own admission was inappropriately small. Petsmart never once called us to let us know what was going on. Had something come up and they called to let us know we would have immediately come back to pick up our dog rather than leave him in an inappropriately small confined space for hours on end. We are beyond furious and will never return to a petsmart again.
