Thy are the best I have had no problems with Petco and there Vital Care Premium is the best. Best $10 a month I have ever spent I love it. And I just join last month and I love it. Petco is the number 1 place 2 buy are you pet supplies 4 your pet. I will keep on buying from them with my Vital Care Primer membership. Nothing beats Petco.

This review is for Vetco veterinarians was there last year my Dog had ear infection gave me antibiotic and drops worked and cleared it up. She got another one went on 4/1/2024 told them the stuff they gave me last time worked. They did a swab test put syringe antibiotic. They said was suppose to be very strong and should clear it up. Told me to come back in 2 weeks. Cost $173 Went back on 4/15 and her ear was 10 times worst. I don’t feel I should have had to pay for something that didn’t work they should have credited me for that wasted visit! Again told them the other stuff worked great! Again they took a swab and gave me the drops I used last time and pain medication the antibiotic was $120 told them I could not afford that so she said try the pharmacy. Paid $169 this time. Well the pharmacy doesn’t carry enrofloxacin they said see if they could give me a script for ciprofloxacin instead. Called to see if they could and vet said no and she wanted me to go back again so they could send swab out to get tested. Said someone would call never got a call. I will never go back terrible service!! Now my poor dog has to suffer till I get another vet appointment somewhere else. Terrible service will never go back there again all about how much money they can bill you for! 🤬Michele Magill

I ordered dog food online. I got home and I had someone else's order at my front door. 3 bags blocking the door. I called and was told they can send the good tomorrow. That doesn't help me feed my dogs tonight! Then when I spoke with a supervisor the call was disconnected and no call back. Very unprofessional! Now I am on hold for the 3rd time trying to fix this issue.!

If I could give negative zero stars I would. I had a bad previous experience at Petco but decided to give them a second chance that was the wrong decision. I went to the store today to purchase dog food ($80) a bag. After I completed my purchase I was exiting the store and the clerk asked if I needed assistancewith carry the bag. I responded no as I had the bag in a cart. As I was walking out to my car another clerk ( guy with glasses) followed me and shouted the cart could not be taken out of the building. I explained I saw the carts with the poles attached so they could go out, but the one I had didn't have a pole attached so I used it to carry the bag of dog food. He exclaimed none of the carts can be removed from the building which was embarrassing to me as people in the parking are looking at me as I'm a thief and had stolen something from Petco. This was the second opportunity for Petco to keep my loyalty they failed epically. I will not be returning and I encourage all who read this post to stay away from Fresno, Ca riverside Petco on Herndon ave. They obviously DO NOT appreciate their customers.

I am writing to bring to your attention a significant issue regarding the service provided by Petco located at 25592 El Paseo, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. My recent experience with the grooming appointment scheduled with employee Sara warrants immediate attention and resolution.I booked a pet grooming service at 10am on 3/4/24 Monday.Despite receiving a text confirmation just 55 minutes prior to my appointment, upon arriving at the store, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled without any prior notice. It was only then that I was informed of a water pipe issue as the reason for the closure. While I understand unforeseen circumstances can arise, the lack of communication regarding the cancellation is unacceptable.What aggravates me even more is the fact that I had adjusted my work schedule to make it to the appointment, only to be met with this inconvenience. The employees at the store admitted that Sara should have called to notify customers of the issue and to reschedule. This demonstrates a below-average level of professionalism and customer service on Sara's part.The most crucial aspect of any appointment is not just scheduling it but also holding it and notifying customers of any changes in a timely manner. The poor communication demonstrated by the business wasted not only my time but also left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.Furthermore, upon visiting the store, I encountered no sense of urgency or empathy from the employees regarding the inconvenience caused to customers. This lack of accountability and customer care only adds to my dissatisfaction with Petco's service.I urge Petco headquarters to address this issue promptly and implement measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, particularly when disruptions occur. It is essential for Petco to uphold its reputation for excellent service by rectifying this situation and preventing similar occurrences in the future.

Yesterday me and my wife went into the store to get dog food for our dog. And when we were walking to go check out we went down this alise to the register. There was a wet spot on the ground where I didn’t see it slipped and fell busted my elbow foot and knee on the ground. There wasn’t no wet floor sign in the ground letting u know that the floor was wet. Im in so much pain from this yesterday afternoon at that store.

The time I have spent dealing with people that never call back and representatives trying to make me feel guilty for your app not working correctly and wanting the discounts I was promised is crazy. The app and website would not allow me to check out at all. I have calmly dealt with this for all almost two weeks. Supervisors pretending they can't hear me all of a sudden is hilarious. I have been hung up on at least 4 times. No, not because I am yelling or being rude but simply because they don't want to do their jobs. Your black Friday sales were just a scam. I am sure of it now. Supposedly if you put too many things in your cart they can start throttling you. I couldn't see what was in my cart to checkout. Representatives couldn't check me out either. This went on for about two weeks.

I made an online purchase last week. I paid with Apple Pay Apple Cash, then there was some issue that needed to be “fixed” before my order could be processed. I fixed it and paid with my credit card in Apple Pay. I waited several business days before calling because they took my Apple Cash and from my AmEx card. I finally after a long hold got to speak to a manager who said, “I will send you an email so you can send proof that we double charged you.” She said they would get back to me. Shortly after, they sent an email saying that I need to call Apple to get my money back. Really? I should call AmEx and dispute the charge. If I don’t get it back, that’s what I will do. You can’t get $177.53 twice. I’m done with Petco.

Returned an item for a store credit. Said I could use it anytime. Went to use it on 2/9/24 and it showed a 0 balance. Never used it. Card has no expiration date or says there is one. I had 65.00 on a card I was told I could use anytime and there's nothing on it. It's like she never put an amount on the card. Had about 65.00 credit. Where's my credit? Card # 6300293389346555

Pretty pathetic that I put in several calls and 2 emails to complain about a rude manager (Thomas Pham) - Henderson, NV store #1195 almost 3 weeks ago AND STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. District manager is Janessa Bogue and I've yet to hear from her. The 877 "customer service" line is also full of associates who are less than unhelpful. With 2 dogs, a gecko and a snake, they just lost our business; Not just this branch, but Petco in general. PetSmart, here we come!

FAILURE of Online Black Friday 30% Discount SCAM!!! ! Buying $100 plus of cat food items, being charged on line for ALL 32 items,- (7) that were out of Stock. Next day the Out of Stock Items deducted, VOIDING the original 30% discount due to dollar value now below the $100 minimum for Special Black Friday discount. This had become a unlawful Scam, horrible waste of time, over and over in the past as well. PetCos online system is a FAILURE, and should be shut down for violating consumer protections laws of showing available products, able to place them all in the cart, our Credit Card is immediately Charged, only to receive a pick up ready email stating many of the items are OUT OF STOCK???? Cheating Consumers out of their Discount the entire reason spending a hour or more painfully on the computer to search exhaustively frustration process for over 30 brands, and flavors of Cat food. Horrible slow dysfunctional ordering only to expect the generous advertised discount pushing for online orders rather than in store purchase. In store purchased do NOT receive discount, they swindle online shoppers so you lose the discount, by over buying to meet minimum Petco Can't deliver due to out of stock. Great Bait and Switch Scheme, as nearly every order placed, displaying items available, only to be removed next day when the partial unfilled total order is available. Discount is removed. So I go to the Summerlin, NV Store, tell them to credit the partial order, then I will find and shop stock available on the shelf and go thru the process further wasting so much time, starting all over again to fill the order for the minimum of $100.00 to receive the in store 30% discount. This is not a rare occurrence but universal scamming customers to order on line, then discover you've lost the discount, were charged for items not even in the store seems to have criminal implications. I am writing the Executive Level in San Diego about the horrors and customer abuse with ordering thru Online for in store pick up. As of today 11/26/23 I have TWO charges on Amex, for the first partial order, was suppose to be "reversed" and the new order I purchased in Store over $100 to receive manual discount. Petco is impossible to do business with on line. My sister in another State GA wanted to receive 30% for Black Friday too, she spent 90 minutes on line painfully waste of time, seeing most out of stock items, a broken ordering system, aborted the entire process texting me how awful the process was never to return to the online ordering again!.

We have tried to buy fish at Petco in Farmington, NM three times. This last time I was told by the employee in the fish dept. to come back hours later due to her servicing the fish tanks. I was literally standing in the store ready to spend my money there. I asked for the manager~ same story from her. There is a small mom and pop fish store in Farmington- I will spend my money there from now on. Ridiculous. Terrible customer service.

Website is good when it works. If something is running low your cart will probably error out because not enough quantity. Recheck all your items because things may default to a different size or flavor.Customer service is really pretty useless. I have been fighting to get the correct size of an item for a week and a 1/2 not. Customer service has promised 6 times for a supervisor call back and it never happens. "Back Office" that has to do adjustments, you will be told you get a response in 24-48 hours but it took them 5 days to respond only to tell me we can't cancel the order because it was already delivered to me. (it was) so I had to return it to the store and they weren't sure of how to do the return. The agent that was supposed to place the replacement order didn't do what he said so I have had to go back and forth every day this week trying to get things resolved.I have not had issues going into the store but if you have a problem with online, it's going to get frustrating.

Has a delivery service that doesn't workOrder same-day delivery, no matter what time I placed the order they will instead make it next day or standard delivery when they advertise same-day as on the customers schedule.On another delivery order; they make what they TELL me to be the delivery date the day they process the order instead.Then they just outright cancel a final order; claim stock, which when I went in to buy the food a second time there was more than 20 of the bag on the shelf; and say they gave my money back but haven't moved a dime back my wayReally seems like this pet company doesn't care if it's customers pets have everything that they need on time or even at all since they refused to do anything to fix their mistakes and this is the FOURTH TIME IN A ROW this has happened.Thier "premier support" just laughed at me and said no to making their mistakes right with me

Petco in Holly Springs, North Carolina is by far the best pet store. I love everything about this store and the staff is second to know. But most of all I love my groomer Jessica. I recommend her everywhere I go. She does an outstanding job on my poodle Max. and I will not go to anyone else.

They tell you that you can get the same day grooming at the Riverhead Petco. They don’t even answer the phone. I had to call customer service after trying two times in an hour. They finally got some guy not even a kid male on the phone and I told him I wanted to bring my Boston Terrier in just for a wash they didn’t even have to dryer and I would wait, he told me he couldn’t do it then he said do you want to talk to my manager I said sure well the manager was too busy with somebody else so she’s supposed to call me back for the last hour and a half which she has not done. I will never ever shop at Petco again, and I will tell everyone I know of my experience you have terrible service And I actually hope you go out of business

Do NOT do business with them. They are deceptive. They told me to sign up for Vital Care to try it out and that I could cancel any time. You can not cancel it and it charges over $10 a month and you are forced into a year commitment. What a scam! Evil company. If this is how they treat customers, I will never shop there again.

Petco is the most inconsistent retailer I have found. I’m trying to order items either online with their live chat. I tried to order online for Saint bank delivery it says not available. I call Petco corporate and they set it up. No problem today I called corporate and they can’t seem to find out how I can get same-day delivery. It’s not available you have to order so many it’s so inconsistent. It’s terrible terrible customer service I don’t really know how they stay in business.

Had an appointed made a week in advance for my mom's small doggy at the Petco in Montebello CA. They called my mom day of to confirm the dog and time. We went and the groomer did not want to work on the dog because of age. They had all the info and confirmed. So why did the groomer have attitude and denied. The one in S. El Monte always takes my moms PapillionMy mom was so sadden and upset. NEVER WILL WE EVER TAKE HER DOG THERE. Unprofessional and attitudes. Dec 17 will always be a day that Pet ruined my mom's holiday.

Bought a bag of food from Petco last night 11/2/23 a cut the corner to pour my babies food and the food had maggots in it. I’m very upset about this and I won’t recommend anyone giving their babies this food without inspecting the bag first.

Petco does not take care of their animals. I pick out at least 5 dead fish every time in at a petco in utah. They don’t check on their fish for days, because I will come back and see the same fish that I picked out that are dead. They are known for throwing animals away and not taking care of them. Please do not support petco at all.

You guys are liars and falsely market sales. I clicked stella and chewys which was marketed 40%off shop now price at checkout . So fine i go through clixk the item it says 82.99 then repeat delivery 74.84. so ok then it says 25% off same day delivery on 50$ or more 10% off/50$or more store pickup. I clicked same day delivery. Which stated to my door by 8 pm. I go through bthe check out theres no 40% coming off. So I call. Im told 40% off is capped at 20 dollars and 40% off is only for repeat delivery. It states this only on the website. NOT the item I clicked for the original 40% off . Im basically told pound sand by Petco. So thats fine next ill contact my attorney for false advertising. And its not slander when i start making groups to address this misleading information

1st let me say that my groomer is great, and I mean she is the best, along with her staff. You get 5 stars from me and my baby!!!!However I called the number on my receipt, because I was not getting any rewards. When I reached my 8th or 9th groom, I was supposed to get a free groom. I called and they assured me an coupon would be sent to my email. When it was near time for me to take my puppy for his next groom, still no coupon..... i called and they Tonnet, and her supervisor Maryland were not helpful and said they did not see a conversation were I was promised a coupon. And that she could not send me one..... I would have to wait another 3 grooms..... I asked for the managers name or extension, and was told she could not give it to me for this type of thing...... Rude customer service rep., and manager..... What ever happened to customer are right....Now why would I lie about a 50.00 coupon for my dog to be groomed, and they can clearly see I get him groomed regularly, pay between 60 & 70 dollars, and I tip at least 20.00 each time I go........ They PETCO should have had no problem keeping there promise for the 50 dollar coupon for his free groom, They are a muilti million dollar company..The only reason i will continue to get my baby groomed is because his groomer is the BEST EVER!Thanks for your excellent customer service Head Quarters!

I purchased this bag of dog food on April 29, I opened it May 7 to find what looked like furry animals throughout the bag...on closer inspection i see it is some kind of mold infestation. I was told there is no refund until the virus ends. So in a time when ppl are low in funds anyway, now I have to go spend another $25 to buy dog food....I tossed it and went to Petsmart to buy food. The person there confirmed it was mold.Petco can have that, as the cost of never having me shop there again.

I switched my brand loyalty to Petco because of their stance against shock collars. It has been a nightmare. Shipments are late or wrong items sent. Damaged items sent. Final straw $30 charged this week on my credit card for a purchase I never made. No one seems to care when I get customer "service". I am going back to a company that I don't want to support because they sell shock collars, but at least they have customer service, timely and accurate shipping. And best of all, the other company doesn't randomly charge my credit card and refuse to fix it. I have never seen such inept customer service from a company.

Im writing this here because i know someone will read it.the petco in missoula,montana has a fish dept. Thats absolutely horrendous and quite frankly despicable.the water in the freshwater tanks are all brown-orange in color and i know all those tanks are hooked in one filtration system.and i also know that you guys buy your fish from farms that heavily medicate the water.in turn when you take the fish home,they die.but somethings gotta be done about the conditions at the store mentioned because those fish are all suffering.someone needs to clean the system because it seems the workers there are too lazy to do it.ive been in the hobby alnost 40 years and i know what im talking about.
