Worst mistake of making grooming appointment here. After 4 days of trying to reach Petco grooming I was finally able to get ahold of someone and made an appointment for my dogs in 2 consecutive days a week in advance. 2 hours before my appointment I got a call from Petco my appointment got canceled due to the groomer calling out sick. I spoke to Petco manager and explained the situation that I will be gone for a month I made this appointment a week before if they can squeeze my dogs both together since one already has an appointment the next day at 9am. He said he has to wait for the General manager to get to the store and will make sure they will give a tomorrow morning before his appointment. Never got a call from Petco tried reaching them several time no answer! The fact that the stores General Manager doesn’t care whatsoever about the time of their customer should say enough. Luckily enough I called De Mar Petco closer to my house and they were able to squeeze me in their schedule where I should’ve gone in the first place and save myself headache and stress.

Love this place. Always find everything I need for my pet or anything as a pet gift for my friends. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and, compared to other pet stores, very clean. Highly recommend to anyone with pets or without.

I couldn’t find the Honest Kitchen brand of small breed adult dry dog food anywhere so I was buying it atAmazon til I found it at Petco. Now I buy it at Petco due to warning and using points to save. The cashier was very helpful in directing me and I alsoenjoy the selection for Chihuahua-sized holiday and regular clothing.. I’ve also purchased a Thunder jacket for her anxiety from Petco. I would like to see events like entering contests to showcase customer dogs and their stories ( on calendars, cards, clothing with a portion collected for animal charities ).

The Support Staff and the Doctor were very engaged as to the well being of my Aussie Shepard Fiona. Lots of good discussion in regards to short and long term health care to ensure longevity of my doggie.

It can be a little trying to find someone to help, but most of the time they have what is needed.Note to the reptile owners, don't go twords the end of the week, the large crickets usually sell out as the shipment comes first of the week.

I just had an amazing experience with Morgan (I think was her name, if not I’m sorry!) from the Grooming Department. She took extra good care of my very anxious dog during her first grooming experience. I will 100% come back and recommend her to others. All the people working in the Grooming Department were super kind and patient with my scaredy-dog. My dog came back sparkly clean and super soft.

Aloha! My name is Nani. Been going to your store for my fish. Yesterday, a young and funny CSR helped my son and I with algae eater and snail 🐌 for our fish tank. I did not catch his name. He had a pony tail, tall. But picture says a thousand words. He was very kind and put a smile on this bag. The snail we bought has our initial on it. It was a very nice experience! Great sale on food for k9-Blaze. Although being a service animal he goes to many places, he gets so excited at this location. Every animal he meets is a long-lost cousin to him. LolI do wish people with animals who behave aggressively did not take them or correct that behavior. Although I know k9-B does have the ability to defend himself I would rather not put him in that situation. At 170 lbs he would rather say hi and wag his body happy to meet ya.I could tell the people working were a bit annoyed with the aggressive dog also. Please keep your dog-aggressive animal at home. It endangers everyone around mainly your dog.

This store is fine and I value its location. However, I strongly do not recommend buying a bearded dragon from this store. The bearded dragon I purchased from here developed a cancer that may have been caused by inbreeding. If you want a bearded dragon I suggest going to Pet Kingdom.

Excellent grooming as always, especially my groomer Makayla, who always remembers my corgi, Kiwi, and her friend corgi, Shmutz, and does a great job with grooming and customer service. A cut beyond, will keep using and recommending to all! She deserves a raise :) The whole location is excellent especially such friendly staff all over the store including the cash register!

My regular fido shopping place, clean, stocked and friendly staff, typically has everything I need. Only thing, heavily disappointed with Petco rewards program, which seems became only worth with the recent overhaul. Somehow I shop regularly but never have a reward to use since my points expire too fast.

The young women who was working with the fish and her assistant yesterday were SO NICE AND INFORMATIVE! ALL OF THE STAFF AT THIS STORE ARE GREAT!!!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE for all pet needs.I would like to add a note to self and all... When I walked in I was rude because I couldn't get an answer right away. I didn't think that was me but apparently it is. I apologized and the clerk immediately tried to make me feel better about being rude to her. CAN WE ALL PUT ON OUR REALLY NICE PERSON HATS WHEN IN STORES AND RESTAURANTS, ETC. !!!!!!!! It costs a lot to live here and these people don't make huge money and most places are short staffed.

They have always had the pet supplies at this location I need for our rodents. This is one of the cleaner locations. There seems to be a lot less pet dander in the air at this location than others. Nice staff and helpful.
