They are perfect. They care about dogs as their pets. I had a beautiful experience with them that melted my heart, my dog had loose stool on the last day of her stay, and the update about her surprised me as they wanted to give her a free bath because of her fluffy fur. I didn’t need it b/c I wanted to bathe her the day of check out but I loved this policy which made me feel much sure about my pet’s health and safety. Also, they sent me pics of my dog every other day, so I recommend them and will keep them in my mind forever.

I'd like to share my dog's wonderful experience with this team. When I went on a trip, I entrusted my dog to them, and it turned out to be a highly satisfying experience. I'm particularly sensitive about my dog's allergies and her separation anxiety but she felt at ease with them. They consistently sent pictures of her every other day, along with reports on her meals and overall condition. I am genuinely pleased with my choice, and if the need to entrust my dog ​​again, I will undoubtedly choose them:)

We are so thankful we found a wonderful trainer, Key, at Paw commons on Morena Blvd SD. We sought help because found a puppy on the side of the road (on our road trip moving to SD). Initially our puppy was quiet but then he became rambunctious and we needed to get a hold of his head strong behavior. We have small children so safety was a priority! We opted for the 2 week puppy bootcamp where he stayed overnight and had solid basic command foundation. Key taught our dog “Perrito” and also taught us at follow up training sessions many useful commands and techniques. If it wasn’t for his amazing training, we may have taken him to a shelter since he has the type of personality that needs positive redirection and could turn destructive if not stimulated correctly or taught the correct boundaries. It took this training to realize he wasn’t a bad boy! He just did bad things :) He has now blossomed into the loving pet we’ve always wanted.Key still stays in touch with us and answers any/all questions we have by simply sending a video or describing the behavior. We are so grateful for his help! We highly recommend him.

I love Paw Commons!!! Breanna Parasiliti went far above and beyond normal customer service to help me. My pup unfortunately hurt her leg and needed to get groomed before surgery. Breanna was extremely compassionate and helped me find the right Paw Commons groomer that had the ability to wash and groom my pup. Breanna was very sweet and understanding of my situation which made me feel great, especially considering the difficult time my pup and I are going through. Breanna was able to schedule me quickly and personally spoke with the groomer to explain my situation. I could go on about how wonderful Breanna and Paw Commons is but most importantly, you now have a customer for life. Thank you Breanna, you have no idea how much your kindness helped me through this challenging time.

Paw Commons at Bay Park is the premier choice for boarding. I have been boarding my husky there for over 2 years and they take exceptional care of her. Most recently, I boarded her for 34 days. The report cards kept my mind at ease and displayed adorable pictures of her playing.

Paw Common’s is a wonderful place to bring my mini Australian Shepherd, Gracie. While I am away, I can watch her on camera during her playtime and her report card with pictures keeps me informed. Picking her up after she has been bathed and groomed is another big benefit. The staff is wonderful too. Thank you, thank you!!

We visited San Diego for vacation last week and needed a place for our pups while we went to Legoland and the zoo. Paw Commons was the perfect solution. My pup loves it here, so do I as he is not in a kennel by himself all day w/specified 15-minute play times, that are an extra expense. Paw Commons has an in-door group play all day. Although they do charge additional for them to feed your dog, overall, I'm happy w/them.I also love the early drop-offs and late pick-ups w/the purchase of the paw pass.

Paw Commons did a wonderful job looking after my Saint Bernard for the week that my family and I were traveling for the holidays. They went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable and taken care of properly. There were cameras available to watch my dog play with the other dogs when I was missing my dog while I was away and they gave her a bath before I picked her up. I'll definitely be using them for future pet boarding!

This place is the best!The staff is super friendly, quick to call you back if needed, and helpful with resources information if you need it.I just moved into the neighborhood (Bay Park) and wanted my pups to get some socialization while I went into work two days a week. This works out perfectly.Just be mindful they close early on weekends.Huge bonus: you can watch your dogs on webcam to see how they do when you are not around. 😂

Zeus never seems nervous leaving the groomers! He walk right in & walks right out (not normal for leaving my side.) he’s come out from his premium bath looking fantastic every time! We get the furminator as he is a husky & definitely needs it! They trim his paw pads so he doesn’t slip down the stairs & I can tell they give him some love along the way. With a 12 year old stubborn husky, this is my go to place! Would definitely recommend.

I take my doggy regularly for grooming.He is a grumpy, Xolo dog, eventhought he is tinny he gives the groomers a run for their money. The staff is great, moreover today he looks so shinny and cute and smells amazing.It looks like he got scrubbed so good that he changed color.He's happy. He will continue to be taken care by the staff here.I highly recommend them.

I recently boarded my sweet girl, Waffles, over the Thanksgiving holiday for seven days. I really love this location. She can have her teddy bear with her for bedtime and I can watch her zooming around during group playtime on the web cams. They also keep a detailed report of her eating and potty habits so I know she’s being well cared for while I’m away. Thank you Paw Commons for providing a safe space for Miss Waffles!

Paw commons training camp changed our lives. Heather and her team of trainers were absolutely amazing! To give some context, we adopted our dog, from a shelter a few years ago. He is a German shepherd/husky mix and about 5 years old. We taught him some skills, but my husband and I never had pets before so we didn’t really know where to start with leash skills and at times struggled to maintain consistency when we did try to train him. Our dog also has pretty intense anxiety and was easily overstimulated. After trying on our own to train him for two years and then boarding him overnight, we saw his anxiety peak. We realized we needed a trainer to help us. Cue Heather and the Paw Commons team. They met with us and Hunter and listened to all our concerns and what we wanted to see improved. They worked on his leash skills, overstimulation, his recall skills, and not only do they train your dog, they train YOU! Because as the owner, you are your dogs lifetime trainer. The program offers follow-up training appointments which helps reinforce the training principles even after the dog has returned home and that was something that made the difference for us. Additionally, all throughout the training we received picture and video updates of how our dog was doing! 11/10 recommend Paw Commons training program!!

We have been long time daycare/boarding customers of Paw Commons. We finally decided to try the Board & Train Overnight Camp program with Heather and her team and we could not be happier. It was a great decision! We originally decided on the 4 week program but had to extend an extra week due to an unforeseen event. Heather made it super easy. She sent us videos as promised with updates throughout their stay and was extremely responsive when we reached out. I will say while those videos were great, we feel they did not truly show the tremendous changes with our dogs, especially with our one dog. Heather has been in constant contact with us since we have taken them home and provided us great reenforcement tips/techniques in our follow up sessions.We are extremely happy with the program and highly recommend it I along with their boarding, daycare and grooming services.

I have been impressed by the Bay Park location. The employees and trainers are super helpful and friendly. I have one dog with a chronic health issue and another dog that is high energy, both have received the best care and attention. Highly recommend!

So I'm new to San Diego and needed to a place that could take care of my English Bulldogs or as I call them, my farm animals. My female Lotus Blossom is easy peasy but my male Buddha, is a different story. Kind of like Forest Gump he's "special" he's typically scared of his own shadow and does not like confined spaces. So this being his first time staying at Paw Commons and having a bad experience at another place / caretaker just weeks before, he decided to protest the first afternoon/evening. The staff was super patient with him and just gave him some time by himself to settle down but and the same time, made sure Lotus Blossom wasn't being held back from the fun of playtime because of her brother. Andre's and Rebecca were so kind and communicated with me on status updates multiple times. They have even suggested a trainer that might help with some of his Bulldog anxiety. I know they just love Lotus (everyone does) but made sure the Buddha was very well taken care of too. Thanks you to all the staff who had to deal with Buddha's Warren don't touch my ears attitude (Something About Mary) and shenanigans and we hope you have them back. Thanks again!

I take my dog here for grooming and she is always happy to go there and looks great when I pick her up. Price seems reasonable to me. Central location, easy to schedule and get an appointment. They require bordatella vaccine to be up to date.

I just finished the 4 week board and train with Heather. Hands down work every penny. I have a giant German Shepard puppy who is generally well behaved but needed some discipline and focus. You would never guess he’s an 11 month old puppy by his demeanor after the training. Listens attentively, no longer pulls, nips, or barks at other dogs while walking. I was worried that he wouldn’t get as much attention or exercise as he needs during this. Every day I received pictures or videos and quickly realized I was having a much harder time being separated than he was. 10/10 recommend for all dogs.

I've been bringing my fur-child Oliver to Paw Commons Bay Park for over a year now between day care, boarding, grooming and most importantly his (much needed) training! Heather has been absolutely amazing on our training journey. I adopted Ollie around 5mo old and to say I was ready for a high energy, anxious, previously adopted and returned pup, would be a lie! Our journey together has not been easy and half of that has been related to his behavior, but meeting Heather and trusting her to help us has been the best decision. She's the only person I truly trust my dog with! She is extremely knowledgable and experienced in her field; you can tell she loves what she does! She has always been honest, direct and communicated well. Ollie has also stayed for a longer term board/train while I was away for work. Heather sent me constant updates, photos and notified me immediately when there was concern he might have an ear infection. She got him right to the vet and kept me in the loop the entire time so my mind was at ease. To see the difference in Ollie's behavior when I returned was unreal and she has always followed-up and checked in with me. Training has not been an easy journey for us, but Heather has made it more enjoyable and way less stressful!

Been taking my Annie here for 18 months, she has attended boarding, training, day care and grooming, they are a full service dog care center and everytime I bring my pup, I know she will be cared for well lots of love and attention! It was our first time using Paw Commons- overall it was a good experience. I think the dogs were taken care of for the most part and overall had a good time.One concern of mine was that I paid for the extra play time, and it was never voiced to me that our pups would be separated the whole time, so that was a bummer, we actually noticed that on the puppy play cams, I felt like my dogs had anxiety and kept sitting next to each other on either side of the fence. Not many toys in the play room.When we got home, they both ran to their water bowls and drank like they hadn't had water for a while? So much so that we took notice to it. Not sure how to feel about that as well?Not sure if we will use Paw Commons again? Still deciding.
