I finally found a Newfoundland dog from this excellent pet shop. It was deeply hard to find this kind of pet. I honestly amazed by this pet shop because any breed was all intact to this place. If, you are looking for any breeds that were really hard to find, then visit this place. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure!

Good location for quick trips. Usually pop in to grab a new toy for our dog. Pretty good selection, but some are way overpriced (just do a bit of research). Their antlers are much cheaper than other brands though. The ladies always cover over to say hi to our dog when we come in.

This is my favorite Kahoots location. The staff members are always friendly and the manager is extremely helpful. It's one of the only chain stores in San Diego that consistently stocks the bird seed I purchase which makes my life a lot easier.

The service was crappy, I've worked in a few different pet stores and I won't be back to a kahoots again the employees at the two different locations I've been to were extremely rude. For instance at both locations I sanitized my hands before attempting to pick a bird up that i was interested in purchasing, and the employees rudly stated to not pick up the birds because they aren't hand friendly and I replied that I'm an exotic bird handler and I'm ok with getting bit if it happens and that I know how to handle them i still tried to reach in for the one I wanted and the one employee said they were new and they didn't want me to scare them and to not touch them! Why go to a pet store to try to buy a new pet but you can't handle the one you want? And also if I ever gave the service I received today I would expect to get fired.

Always enjoy going to this store. The employees are super friendly and the store is always clean. I actually make a special drive just to come to this store. The Grossmont store is way closer to me, but I just love the people here to make the trip.

Good pet store. Staff are helpful and is of course, pet friendly. Prices are comparable to most other places. Although some things are considerably cheaper like kennels.

I love shopping at Kahoots for my picky cats. They always have brands I don't see anywhere else. I am sorry that the location on Lake Murray is closing since that's close to me.

Came here tonight for chinchilla food. I stood in front of the check out waiting for the thinner old lady to help me. Then the shorter chubbier old woman employee came to the taller old woman employee behind the counter and they started doing something with a returned bag of dog food. I stood there for a few minutes, during which time they both saw me but neither would help me. I just wanted to buy chinchilla food, but since I couldn't get help, I put it back and left.

I went in to buy a fish and got no service I asked for service and they just looked at me I was confused and waited a little longer I heard them say something very disrespectful they sell the fish for $15 dollars so I left very unhappy I’m going to Walmart to get a fish now🤣 NEVER COMING BACK
