Went in yesterday because I enjoy shopping around that little area and hadn’t been in the store before, when I entered I wasn’t greeted but rather just stared at, I didn’t think much of it until others started coming in and were being greeted. I also felt kinda off when I went to go look at an item and I put it back neatly the way it was and immediately behind me was the person working who took it upon herself to inspect how I put something back and readjusted it so obviously. When I finally went to pay I pulled out cash and the woman goes “oh we only take card, is that gonna work for you?” In a belittling tone and when I said yes all she said was “thankssssss” very blandly. Overall it’s a nice shop but the woman working really knew how to make a customer feel unwelcome.

I wish I could give this place a better rating given that they do have very cute and quality items that cater to upper middle class folx who are suckers for plants, beige, and macrame (which I am).So I thought this place was dog friendly. The woman working the register was very indifferent and didn’t greet customers. When I asked if she could provide water for my dog, since I figured it was a pet friendly place, she said no without apologies or explanation. To clarify, I had brought my own bowl and showed it to her. I had run out of water since we had been out for the whole day. She made it feel very unwelcoming and this place is more for your home than your hound. I will be going elsewhere for cute dog-/home- related items.

I’m obsessed with this shop! I stopped in to browse and they had so many cute toys, apparel, and more for my fur baby. My 10 year old bluetick hound loves her cozy new fleece sweater! 😁

Stopped by on a whim on a Sunday morning while vacationing near north park. So many cute items for my furry pal and home! Ended up buying a toy, feeding item and puzzle. In fact, everyone in my party bought something. Love this place!

The online shop has a fantastic selection of products and brands that are nearly impossible to find anywhere else. The owner Brittney is also incredibly helpful and kind with customer support. So happy I found Home + Hound!

Great little boutique with curated items, especially gifts for and about your beloved doggo. The pet stuff is def on the pricey side, as a heads up. Vibe is chill and customer service is good.
