This facility accepts cats which is not common for the area. They did an awesome job at getting her in ans out and the communication on how our cat did was excellent. The prices are very competitive to other groomers in the area from what we experienced!

Furry Friends Dog and Cat Grooming is unquestionably the place to choose. They offer the most budget-friendly services in town. Despite having two large short-haired dogs, they accommodated them on short notice, and in just three hours, I received speedy and friendly service. While the place does have a distinct pet smell, which is understandable, it wasn't an issue for me. I give them a solid 5 stars and wholeheartedly recommend their services. I'll definitely be returning for their excellent service

Horrible, I pay $147.00 dlls for my three love schnauzers Xina, Chico, ghost, get sheared and they tail do not shave when we ask you to get it cut, she says no, I'm not going to do it. They look horrible bad, terrible. I don't have words to make people understand that this place doesn't care about our love dogs or cat or any other pet; please, for all you guys see, help me to give this place a lesson. Take your place to other place were you not going to pay for something the you don't like or want. This place doesn't deserve our business. Or your business, let me take some pictures hope I can post and you will see for yourself

Went to a place on plaza Blvd that wouldn't take my Shih tzu Scruffy because he would resist when they tried to groom him so I took him to Fury Friends Dog and Cat Grooming......they did a great job.....I can see his eyes now.......this picture is about a month after his grooming

This place is top notch and is my go to place for both grooming and boarding. They always do such a good job and the cost has to be one of the most affordable options in town. In turn don't forget to tip cuz they earn it!! Ty furry friends you're awesome!

Yikes, was hoping this spot so close to home would be perfect for my little Persian cat. He is used to being groomed so he’s very well behaved.Pros: they did a great job deshedding and he is much softer now. He had a few tangles and they’re gone and his coat is softer for sure. I’m super allergic to him (but like still worth it look how cute he is), and I can already feel my allergies are less severe when holding him. The customer service was ok.Negatives: he smells worse than he did before I brought him in, his paws were not trimmed and don’t even seem like they got cleaned, his tear stains were entirely untouched. He had gotten too close to my pottery wheel yesterday and got some clay on his leg, which was still there after I picked him up.I can’t speak for how they do with dogs, but I know for sure I won’t be bringing my cat back in again.

DO NOT COME HERE. Please trust the 1 star reviews. This place is unclean and will not be kind to your cat. I had a bad feeling the instant I walked in the doors and was hit by and overwhelming stench of urine and I should have turned and taken my cat back out with me immediately, but I panicked and couldn’t think of a reason to go directly back out the door. My cat is very clean (note: does not smell at all) and doesn’t require grooming but after fostering a kitten who had brought fleas into our home we had to get our cat a flea treatment. The man at the front was disparaging and insisted on services that my cat didn’t need. I mentioned that my cat was very nervous and to please keep that in mind that she’s never been groomed before and please be gentle with her. As he took her back all he said is “well I hope she doesn’t bite me.” My poor cat was there for three hours and I could hear her yowling in the other end of the phone when I was called to pick her up. She was returned to me noticeably traumatized with paws and stomach soaking wet with brown foul smelling water as though she had been washed in water other animals had peed in. Three days later she still smells and has transferred to our car and home. I’m wracked with guilt for subjecting my cat to this horrendous treatment. My husband selected the place and clearly did not read the reviews. I have no idea how this place has anything above a one star review I think they must give discounts or free services for 5 star reviews.

Brought my cat to this place when it was on Adam's Ave. First of all I should've turned right back around as soon as I walked in. The place was extremely smelly and unkempt. There was a man grooming. Apon picking up my cat he expressed that he had checked my cats temperature which was odd to me because why would that need to be done just for a bath? He checked her temperature with a thermometer in her rear. My cat is so scared of people ever since that grooming visit. Leaves me to wonder what's really going on here. I would not recommend this place so many reviews of bad hair jobs and their animals coming out bloody/hurt.

My regular cat groomer moved away and went to try this place out. I took my two cats to get the Lion cut. When I picked them up, their legs and tails were soaked. Tuffs hair was in the carriers. Tons of hair was on them. Like a lint ball. Kiki Lee, the grey baby, was super scared. She usually loves the groomer. I noticed that they cut her belly while shaving her! It was $120 for 2 cats. It was a horrible experience for everyone involved. Don't take your kitties here!!

One of my top favorite small businesses of all San Diego. The best grooming for my little doggo.I called for same day grooming and Claudia was so nice over the phone. They explained about three hours but was done within two.LOVE LOVE LOVE WILSON. He handled Chance so patiently and lovingly. Listened very well of what I wanted then afterwards gave amazing, detailed of what happened throughout the grooming process. He specified that he will use the blueberry shampoo to help get ready of the red stains on his paws.Wilson gave the best advice, he’s so knowledgeable and passionate of his job.For Covid, they have proper social distancing etiquette. Wait outside while there’s a parent and paws are present inside and masks always required.But anyways I will surely come back and ask for Wilson specifically. I love seeing my doggo so happy cute and clean.

I do not recommend this place. If you have a pet you love, do not take them to this place. After a simple lions cut and bath for my cat, we now have an infection happening on his two hind paws. His nails on his legs are now messed up and bloody because of the bad job they did cutting them.

Took my cat to be groomed and the service and price were impeccable. It's not a solid 5 because the place smelled like urine but so very strongly I tried to hold my breath. I understand accidents happen. Other than that it was a wonderful experience and my cat was calm and content when I picked him up.

My cat came out clean and not too angry. The staff were very courteous, even with how busy they were. I appreciated the orientation to the variety of services offered on our first visit and will be back.ETA: We have been repeat customers for over a year since I wrote my first review. They are great with my senior long hair kitty and I am happy I have somewhere we can go to help her manage her mane and make grooming herself easier

I am so pleased with this place. The cage-free boarding facility was a godsend for my sometimes-nervous pup. He got a chance to socialize the entire time I was away on vacation and he really improved a lot. I take him to the dog park almost daily, but he was always afraid of larger dogs (although who can blame him, he’s 15#). Now, he knows how to play with other dogs of mostly any size! Thank you Furry Friends, I will gladly use your services again and I really appreciated the modest pricing.

Took my cat in because he had just recently returned home after spending 3 days outside. It was my first time sending my cat to be groomed, and I'm overall satisfied with what they did. My cat seemed more calm then I expected and smelled really nice. I definitely noticed the difference and it didn't take too long for them to give him back. I got to run some errands while I waited.

We just recently boarded our old lady, a 15 year old pitty-doberman mix, for a two week stay at Furry Friends -- and they went above and beyond.At the very beginning of the trip she started to get anxiety, something she's never struggled with after being boarded dozens of times. Then she got a UTI about halfway into her stay. Needless to say this was incredibly stressful, especially when traveling with poor cell service in a foreign country.The FF staff handled it incredibly well. They got her on anti anxiety medicine right away which helped to calm her down. They worked with me to problem solve what might be causing they anxiety. They took her to the partner vet (Cuyamaca) to get a UA for her UTI and got her on antibiotics. And when we picked her up, everything was clean: her, her bed, her reusable diapers. Everything. Thank you all so much for your love and care of our old lady!

What can’t be said about this magical location. As you may imagine, running a family owned business is no cakewalk but Claudia and Wilson certainly make it look like one. Their ability to communicate well with a fully booked schedule day after day is more than just a skill it’s something bred into their DNA. Most people dread taking their pets to the groomers out of fear that there will be injuries or poor quality, but it is clear these two have been in business with something they truly have immense passion towards. My Husky always comes home happy, fluffy, and smells like heaven. I’m happy to call myself a client and my dog struts proudly after his bath.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Furry Friends! Took my previous cats here when they were at their old location and now they have helped me tremendously with my newer fur babies! Every time they return they are clean, tangle free, and the BEST part is they are relaxed. They don't seem traumatized and come back into our home like nothing happened. I cannot thank you guys enough for making a usually very stressful event, carefree!

I’ve brought both of my cats in the last few months and my cats love it here. It seems like the staff knows exactly how to treat cats despite the attitudes they may give. My two cats are usually not the easiest to interact with when it comes to strangers but they know exactly what needs to be done to make cats feel comfortable. My cats have left this place super calm and happy with their services. Thanks you guys! I’ll be returning very soon!

We have been taking our furry babies to Furry Friends for years! (since old location on Adams) Lucy has been grooming our little one and has been doing a great job. Lucy is knowledgeable and made time to speak with me about some concerns I had with my little one. Claudia and Wilson are great too. The quality of their work is awesome! We highly recommend Furry Friends for your little ones.

Wish I had the time to check my pets before leaving. Haircuts are uneven and noticeable longer in some areas. No bath was given, showing signs of dirt and urine on paws that wasn't there before. I only decided to leave this review after several comments on the haircuts from friends. Not terrible job, but plenty room for improvement. Price is reasonable, but my tip was too generous for the end result. Had to fix it myself.

When trying to book an appointment, I asked how long the lion cut for my cat would take, and they were very vague. I planned on 2.5 hours, and made arrangements to come in to work late. When I arrived, I was appalled at the state of the place. It looks nothing like most of the photos that have been posted here, but I was too distraught to take any myself. When I was told it would be at least 4 hours for my cats cut, I took it as a welcomed opportunity to leave. I would never want my cat to be groomed in a space so unclean, not well cared for, and messy. If I'm trusting you to clean my cat, I would hope the facility would be clean to start with. I also felt quite uncomfortable as I watched a woman shaving a cat who was hissing and yelping, and being twisted into multiple uncomfortable looking positions. I understand that most cats don't enjoy being groomed, but this sounded like real pain. And finally, like most people, I treat my cat like a part of my family, and I usually find that people who like animals do the same. None of the staff asked for my name, or my cat's name, and they did not seem welcoming or excited to see myself or my cat. Please, for the love of your kitty, pay the extra bit of money and go someplace else.

I have been going to Furry Friends for 3 years. I take my cat for a nail trim every 8 weeks. I did notice the lack of customer service, personal touch, or even remembering you or your pet after a year......but Claudia did a wonderful job.One day, after I was once again treated as though I was a new client, I decided I wouldn't we back. I always tipped the amount of the nail trim. It's sad that they have no personality.
