Shout out to Gabby the groomer, my dog Julie had one grooming experience where they shaved her and it scarred both her and me, but my fiancé wanted to get Julie fresh for our wedding so booked a spot here. I ended up having to take her in and after dropping her off she freaked right out so they called me and I stayed in the back and they let me help so we could get it done. Julie is a lot and it was a lot but we got it done and she looks great for our big day when she will be the ring bear-er!

Wanita is the best, The pups love her and she does an excellent job when we take both of our pups Hudson and Petey for either a full groom or a bath and clean up. They always look happy to be clean and groomed. The rest of the staff are very helpful with any items we need for our pups.

Let them know our dog was over 12 years old. They said, no problem, bring latest vet report, a screenshot will do. Next day appt I brought actual paperwork. They said sorry can't groom your dog, owner in PA has to approve. Wasted a lot of time (dog is completely healthy btw - no medical conditions at all). The grooming might be good but their staff is incompetent. There are lots of places to get your dog groomed in San Diego, my suggestion is to look elsewhere.

Dr Marty's will sell you a 16oz bag of dog food for $28.50. The same bag at your store is $66.79. That is a difference of $38.29. When I told Dr Marty's about that they gave me a free 16 oz bag. I know you have to mark things up but not that much. Thank you

Amazing pet store with plenty of high quality food options, toys galore, and an amazing staff. I come down to the neighborhood regularly just so we can come here with the puppers.The grooming is top notch and the groomers always take care of our pups. This place is a special spot that's part of the neighborhood fabric. My pup and I, and many others, love to come in almost every day to say hello to the awesome staff and rescue dogs that are up for adoption. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and all truly love dogs (and cats! but they don't come in as often haha). The store stocks all sorts of worthwhile and interesting products, food and otherwise. Lots of people come in from out of town too, and comment on what a great store it is. There's such a warm and welcoming vibe. It's also admirable that the staff juggles so many roles, since this is a retail store, but they're also taking care of the rescues' needs throughout the day, and running the business side of the grooming services.I've been in literally hundreds of times and seen thousands of happy people getting what they wanted and needed, with smiles and jovial interactions all around. Then on here I read some of the negative reviews and personally I'm surprised at the things people are complaining about, or expect discounts for... like an unopened bag of treats because some are crushed?? Saying they had 10 great experiences but one that wasn't great and giving 1-star? Technical hiccups after switching appointment scheduling software? I've been in store on more than one occasion when people showed up late for grooming appointments and the staff still tried to accommodate them.

Terrible customer service. I got a new puppy and I didn't know anything about dogs, I asked them what collar to get and this heavyset blond woman told me to get this one based on the weight. I asked what food to get for a Poppy, she carelessly said any of these. I got the collar and it didn't fit, I went back ten minutes later and they exchanged it but they would only give me a credit for the rest. The food she recommended made the dog fart all day, I just found out that you are not supposed to feed Poppy's food with beans it will make them gassy.

So I called this location multiple times and left messages for someone to contact me back regarding grooming and never heard back from no one so I then called the main office and left a message stating that I had called the store on multiple occasions and never received a phone call back and would like to know more information about getting my dog groomed. I never heard back from nobody. It was about five days later that I received a phone call from a person saying that they were sorry they didn’t get back to me sooner and wanted to know if I still wanted to have my dog groomed because I’m visiting here from Maine and don’t know much about it. I said yes I went in and I was not one bit satisfied with the service and also when I went in there was a young woman at the counter, complaining about the work environment and how she couldn’t stand what was going on and I had to listen to that for 15 minutes while I did a written questionnaire regarding my dog I absolutely would not recommend going to this place for nothing. Consider South Bark Dog Wash for your grooming and supplies, fantastic place.

The staff is really nice and knowledgeable but the prices for grooming is crazy. They really try to get you with any addition small service. I came in for a sanitary trim around the butt area and a trim on the feathers underneath her paw on my australian shepard. Sanitary trim cost $10 and underneath her paw $5. She came out with a landing strip and had feathers around the cheeks. I tried to come back the next day to ask to trim the feathers shorter so she didn't look like she had a landing strip and they wanted to charge me another $5 cuz thats an extra charge they didn't charge yesterday. You would think when you do a sanitary trim it would all the butt area and not get charged per spot. They should at least been accommodating!! the trim took all about 10min!!

The staff is absolutely amazing! Best Prices in town for grooming and they are incredibly fast. I use them about 1-2x a month but stop in daily just to say hi to the staff because they are that great! Melissa does such an awesome job grooming my overly excited lab who pees when he is excited. Anybody who knows labs knows that it’s pretty much constant excitement. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else. The staff here is hands down the most caring and easy going staff. Thanks for all you do guys!

Really friendly staff and very well kept. They have an awesome cookie selection for your pup and offer a great variety of all natural treats for dogs and cats. I would say most of their food selection is of the higher end foods. They offer pet grooming as well. Best part of the store though is the animal they always have up for adoption in front of the store. Just a sweet spot for your pet to visit and look at toys! I highly recommend this place for your animals needs!!

Went to buy dog treats and they only had two bags lefts. Both bags were crushed and the treats were pretty much ground up into a powder. I asked if they had more and they said no, I asked if I can get a discount since more than half the bag will go to waste and she rudely replied someone else will buy them. I recommended they speak to the company they get it from and return the bags that are crushed and she put up total attitude said no they can’t. Obviously you don’t care about customers that are paying full price for a product that is half defective. Rude customer service would recommend buying from a pet store that appreciates customers not tries to rip them off

I love this place. It is the only grooming shop I use for my cat and dog. Melissa is a great groomer and she is very knowledgeable and passionate about the care of every pet! I love the store manager, Andy as well! I’ve always been greeted and serviced with great respect! They work so hard and love what they do.

I love Doggie Style Pets!! The customer service is nothing be exceptional, Jeff always has a treat and some love for my pups. He is very knowledgeable and answers any questions I might have. They do a great bath and nail grind for a great price.

I stumbled into this place a few months ago. I was so impressed with the variety of pet products they have. My vizsla has very bad food allergies and Cassandra helped me navigate different food/brands until we found the right one for my dog Islay. She is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to help me with all my questions and pets needs. Also she remembered my dogs name the next time we came in after only meeting her once! Customer Service 10/10! One of my all time favorite places to shop for my fur child :)

Really great products and a woman on staff helped me find the dog sunscreen I needed really quick.Downside, I saw a staff member holding a puppy while dragging another puppy from the outside of the store and through to the back of the store. The puppy had a leash looped around its neck and was literally being dragged. There is no reason to do this. I was here at noon on July 3rd. I tried looking for an email to contact the store so as not to embarrass anyone, but there wasn't anything aside from the number to the front. This guy needs training.

Went in for the first time and met Jeff, the manager. My little dog Flash has been itching a lot and got some fleas recently after traveling, and Jeff was super helpful in picking out a good quality shampoo and had some suggestions on keeping Flash flea-free in the future. Great store with an excellent selection, I will go back.

They have a really great selection of raw dog food. The staff is always welcoming and you can find almost anything dog related. Also, I’ve been grooming my dog for almost 9 years now, no one has ever done a better job!!

Doggy style has a great selection of items for dogs, the store normally has a dog on adoption in the store too although last time we went he has already been adopted.They also do a bunch of both cat toys and foods.The staff are helpful but not pushy.

I've been going here since they opened but all of my favorite employees have been disappearing. All these men they have been hiring don't know anything about pet food, my dog has allergies and they told me the opposite of what I should be doing. They are also very rude. Their groomer left and went up two blocks to their competition, which says a lot. Now I have no reason to return again.

This store is awesome.. What a friendly and helpful staff. They have cat toys and dog toys from floor to celing. They offer premium pet food and have a large selection of leashes and collars.. They also offer grooming services. This is a pretty cool place!
