We love Torrey Pines DD. Our groomer Brittany is not only exceptionally talented, she cares for our dogs like we do. She is hands down, one of the best groomers we've found in all of San Diego. (We've been everywhere from Coronado up to Carlsbad) She goes out of her way to make sure our furry kids are well taken care of and the turnaround time is always quick. The front staff, Joyce in particular is always so pleasant and helpful. The entire staff goes above and beyond while creating a relaxed and inviting environment for our dogs and for us. We love everything about Torrey Hills!

We have been going to the Torrey Hills Dirty Dogs for a little over a year now. This location is so knowledgeable and helpful. We rescued our pup last year and they helped us a ton! It’s great to walk in and see their smiling and friendly faces. Our dog loves getting groomed here as well. We have had great service with everyone! Joyce is always willing to stop and help. So happy that Torrey Hills is our neighborhood location.

I went here for a cat bath on Saturday morning. The bath itself was okay, but the customer service was bad. The groomer didn’t seem welcoming but made sure she told me the terms to cover her basis. At the end, they asked for a tip, which I did not feel like giving but I still put it in. She didn’t even say thank you or goodbye as I walked out. So rude. Should not have left a tip and will not be back here again. The Del Mar location customer service is much much better!

I went in to get some treats and toys for my dog. I was greeted by the staff as soon as I walked in. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I was assisted by Valentina, she was supper helpful. She asked questions about my dog and showed me some treats that she thought my dog would like. She was right my dog loved the treats she recommended. I would recommend everyone who has a pet to come to the store.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! They don't call you when issues arises with your pet.Unfortunately, my most recent grooming appointment at the Torrey Hills location could not have been the furthest from pleasant. I have been a loyal customer for almost 3 years now. In the past, majority of my appointments have been great and unproblematic until recently. On this past Friday, my dog had a grooming appointment where I showed multiple pictures and discussed with the groomer what I wanted done with Livi's haircut. I explained how as of recently I have been wanting to keep her hair longer and reference it with pictures. The groomer explained to me the best blade for her body would be blade 4, which meant nothing to me, as I do not regularly work with these tools. When I saw Livi, it couldn't be more opposite of what I asked. At this point unfortunately I had paid for the service already, $150(including a $20 tip which I now want a refund for). After speaking with the assistant manager that night, who was very professional and understanding, I was told the manager of the store would call me on Saturday. After waiting 3 days with no contact, I decided to call back and I spoke with Julie. I cannot even begin to explain how unprofessional Julie was to me. She was extremely rude, opening our conversation with, "what do you want me to do about this'' verbatim. She then went on to say "if you didn't like the cut, why did you tip the groomer" in a very rude and condescending tone. She completely disregarded me and kept stating that the notes she has does not align with what I am saying. In my opinion, this is completely unprofessional and not a way to treat dissatisfied paying customer. I will not be returning to this establishment and urge future customers to avoid.

We have been going here for years and they are wonderful. I am disappointed that recently they made the move to send all their calls to a call center. It really makes the experience seem corporate instead of neighborhood business like. Then, the appointment time texted to me didn’t match the day and time I made it for, AND it was for the wrong location. It’s really annoying to not be able to ask store specific questions. Not happy with this change.

We moved to San Diego less than 2 months ago with our 9 year old ShihPoo. Dirty Dogs pet stor in Torrey Hills is, by far, the best find!!! In addition to our dog, we have four other dogs on our holiday shopping gift list. From dog food to snacks, treats, accessories, and toys - it’s one-stop shopping for your dog or cat. The food brands are top quality and so healthy for your pet.Joyce helped me select perfect gifts for all 5 dogs and spent quality time listening to the particular needs of me dog. While browsing I noted that Joyce greeted many fur customers and their parents using their first names. That’s a sign of satisfied return customers. Five stars for excellent customer service - thank you Joyce!

Staff has always tried to be helpful here for me. I wash my 35 lb dog here, and they try to do her nails (they’ve always had two women try, but my puppy isn’t allowing it yet. But the women give it their best try!). They always have good selection, and the staff makes helpful recommendations. I definitely recommend

I've been shopping at Dirty Dogs for nearly 12 years. Their staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of quality food, supplements (we love the salmon oil for healthy coats), gear, toys, and treats. We don't do grooming but do take our dogs for nail trims and have always had a positive experience. Highly recommend!

Awesome facility! Super friendly employees. We used the self wash for our dog while visiting and it was perfect. For $18 we got shampoo, conditioner, brushes, deshedding tools, ear cleaning solution, aprons, and towels. The tubs are just the right height so you don't have to bend over the whole time. I definitely recommend Dirty Dogs if you're in the area.

they need no to have non-slip mats at their self wash stations. i completely fell, hitting the side of my face on the tub and messing up my leg/hip, while taking my dog out of the bath because the floor was so wet (at 9:20AM at torrey hills on 5/19 in case y'all want to check your cameras). 24 hours later and i'm in more pain now than i was yesterday. the best part? multiple groomers working and a girl in the front, not a single one said anything tome. it was a LOUD fall and either no one noticed or no one cared. my friend was even with me and said "oh my god are you okay?" and still nothing. someone can get really hurt and it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. PUT DOWN NON-SLIP MATS. i won't be coming back here until i see them for my safety.
