I needed a prescription for my cat which I ordered online, and they require the prescription to be mailed. After a week I still didn’t get it and the online vendor told me they hadn’t even gotten the prescription in the mail yet, so I had no idea if they would ever get it. My cat was showing clear signs of illness, and unfortunately the medication was back ordered at most locations. Even major pharmacies like Walmart and Costco said it would take at least two days. I called so many hospitals and pharmacies and Balboa Pet Pharmacy had it in stock! I rushed a new prescription from my vet over to this pharmacy and received her medicine the same day in about 15 minutes. Not only did they have the medication, but the staff was extremely helpful and compassionate. They only had the pills in 5mg rather than the 2.5 that I usually get, and told me that if it wasn’t working out I could call back and they’d call their supplier to rush order the 2.5mg for me. They even gave me a coupon for my next visit. The staff here was extremely helpful and also very compassionate, which I really appreciated in my moment of stress. I was almost in tears from relief as I couldn’t afford to wait much longer. I felt like they really love animals here, as I was explaining my ordeal they showed genuine concern for my cat and myself as well. I highly recommend this business and will be coming here for any pet medications in the future. During stressful times it’s hard to beat an in-person interaction and I am so grateful for the owner and employees of this business!
