So much Fun to shop this location. Awesome finds on every isle. After filling my cart with amazing buys for everyone , lines were winding towards the back of store.. but as they should, staff opened up every register and were as polite and in control as if it was easy everyday thing..to be this busy a location. It's amazing how orderly and stocked it is every time I visit..So we'll run. Terrific staff and MOST OF ALL ❣️👉💯 THE REST ROOM IS AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS AS IT SHOULD BE !! 💯👍THANK YOU 99PLUS !! .

At a young age, I hated going shopping. I never liked going to the malls for nothing. Nothing would make me go to the mall, but the 0.99cents store. I can definitely say I spend hrs looking at all those Cute things they sell, fresh fruit and vegetables but most importantly, This store has the most friendliest cashier I have encountered in a while. They are helpful and do the best they can to keep everything desinfected and covid free. Great job everyone who works at this store. The only reason I don't give them five stars is because the lines at check out are long....🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

Why isn't there a bigger collection of Shasta sodas at this place. But on the other hand they do carry name brand sodas like Dr. Pepper, Coca-Cola, Mountain Few, Sprite, Pepsi and even A&W root beer. Not to mention Coronas, Pacifico y Morelos.

I like the 99 Cent Stores better than I like the Dollar Tree they have better items at the 99 cent store. But not as many locations as Dollar Tree.

They need to have a major meeting with all of their employees. The saying goes: "The customer is always right" Well, that's Not always the case. But what I am to about to post, it is. Their employees are not properly trained. And if they are, they don't give a Shi+. Each and every time my neighbors and I, visit the store, it's always the same old story. It seems that the employees are always talking to someone on the phone which has nothing to do with the store. The last couple of times, we've seen them sitting on the floor rather than squatting or bending down to mark items giving the illusion is that they are lazy by doing this.(We also realize they're not slaves) What's also irritating is, they're always in the way what we mean by this is, they don't think. If you're trying to go down the aisle, a person at times can't get through because of their cart is in the middle of the aisle and it causes traffic from both sides of the aisle because of all of the extra boxes and all. it's either that they don't have the brains or don't care if you can get around their carts or not when there's plenty of room if they would just move it a little bit. This happens frequently around the refrigerated doors. they're always in the way by the produce not allowing the customer to go down that narrow aisle and they pretend as if they don't know. then the owners want to know why it wasn't their items sold because they're always in the way.The other irritating thing they do is: they don't pay attention; all they do is hear sound; but Nothing registers. I have personally heard customers tell them in English, and in their native language, stuff like: all of these items here, we're going to pay for them together, but we need separate bags. Then right after they understood in both languages, they total out the register and say this is how much it cost. Then when they tell them, but I just got done telling you one transaction with separate bags, they get an attitude. The only reason why we keep going back is, because some, though not all prices are better.

Wow this place is amazing! Everything is name brand stuff now!I got 5 Revlon Microderm Abrasion Kits, for my arms and Chest for $4.95 + tax. I got one for each of my friends!They were literally $35.00 at Walgreen's EACH!!DON'T go without money or you will kick yourself!! It's like a shopping spree Dream come true, getting Everything for practically Nothing!But one thing to be aware of is that their are now National Brand items that they sell for $1.99¢ $2.99¢ & $5.99¢ so you need to pay attention to the bright Yellow and Green stickers that tell you the price.I really like the deals yesterday especially the 3/pac of flavored coffee K-Cups they were 2/99¢ so I got 6 K-Cups of Breakfast Blend, Caramel and Irish Cream for .99¢I love this place, check out the picture below

Lines are always very long some of the workers are very rude and the prices are ridicules it shouldn't even be called the 99 cent store any more. Oh and now they're forcing you to buy bags. Cuz they have made it to where you can't take the shopping cart to your car.

The prices seem to have gone up quite a bit since a couple of years ago. Still for those with limited income, it is still one of the most affordable place to get groceries and household suplies. The store is clean and well stocked. Depending on the time of shopping, the checkout lines can be very long. For food, it is good to check out the expiration dates before buying.

Always a bargain hunt! Store is big and laid out well. The signs are helpful to direct you quickly.They were lacking cashiers which made the 3 that were open have long lines.This store has a fabulous produce department. I was impressed with their selection of fresh foods.All in all a good store.

Because they don't have something less than one.. The store interiors are pretty standard..bottled water that was ¢99 cents 2 months ago is now $1.29..so a 30% increase.. and lots of other things 100-200% increased.. but the feature of the f-cking business plan I detest the most..8+ cash registers and they always only have 2 open and there is a line.. they have staff but insist on 5-8 people in each.. so you can't buy a $1.29 bag of ice and a Gatorade, candy bar without waiting 10+ minutes.. corporate manager and store manager all should be fired because they enjoy making customers miserable

Great place to pick up fresh produce. They even have Vegan mock meats at times. I enjoy shopping there. They are in the neighborhood which saves me time. I was shocked to find Kumbacha and plant base milk there as a regular item.

I Adore how the manager at this 99 cent store in la Mesa and Baltimore.Cody. The greatest personality ever. He always love to please us customers. Nice. Clean. Cool zone inside. He make sure his Cashiers have a fan to remain cool while operating the Register. The Employees are very Great ful to be working there. Everytime I enter the store I'm greeted. When I see the Manager Cody I always say Hello to him. He tries his hardest to keep things in order with kindness to everyone.
