I go to this PetSmart every two weeks and it's always clean and the service is quick (also love to check out those lovely cats!). I have two things I think could be better. First, it would be good to have more kinds of senior cat food, like canned food and squeeze-up treats. Our cat is 17 years old and it's hard to find food for him in the store, even though it's on the website. Second, sometimes when I ask to pay the same price as on your website (because it's cheaper), the female person at the checkout isn't very patient. Fixing these things would make shopping here even better.

This PetSmart at San Carlos has a very good selection of products for dogs and cats. The store is well organized and clean. The staff is friendly, and you can clearly see that they love pets. In addition, the store has a hospital, and a training area. At this moment, I am preferring much more this store than the PetCO at Foster city. I do do recommend it.

Made a grooming appointment at 10:30am for a bath and trim for my Shih-Tzu (small dog) and by 4pm I hadn't heard back from them so I went to pick her up. When I called on my way there, they said they'd need another 45 minutes, which probably means they decided to start working on her when I called.What's the point of making an appointment if you're going to start working on the dog whenever you get around to it. You're not handling objects, these are living, feeling beings.My dog is really anxious (which I let them know when I dropped her off) and being kept in a cage surrounded by noise and other dogs barking and whining is really stressful for her.Needless to say, we won't be coming back, nor would we recommend entrusting your pets to them. The Smart thing is to avoid them.

Very bad experience with grooming. I gave special instructions how I wanted the haircut to be. Even showed pictures. They ended up doing what they wanted and lied that my pet hair was matted even tho I brush her regularly and it was not matted at all. Happened 4 times with 4 different groomers. Won’t be taking my pet there anymore.

I am very grateful to be able to have a very reliable place to take my pets. Not only is Maia, Matthew and their team exceptional during check ins and check outs because of how easy it is to to book reservations but they also make the entire process so easy. They make me feel like I’m another member of their family. Every time we go to hotel everyone greets us by our names and they give us a brief summary of how our dog and cat did during stay. I am very pleased to see my pets get so happy even if we’re just passing by hotel to buy essentials, they always want to stop by and say hi.

Jessica did such an amazing job with my dog! He was so shaggy (as you can see in the before shot). I brought in a picture of what I was hoping for in terms of a dog haircut, and she was so detail-oriented and kind and truly gave my pup his best haircut ever. Will definitely be coming back, specifically for her! 🙏🏼

Today, I went to the Petsmart dog camp to try their playtime and camp time. I left my dog in the half-day camp, and when I got my dog back at 1:00, I was told that my dog was inside the cage the whole time because they didn't have time to set up the camp. The whole point of leaving her there is so she can have some fun and interact with other dogs. I spent the whole day just around the area to wait for her to have a good time. When I got my dog, my dog was thirsty; she needed to go pee and poop, and she did nothing but stay in the cage the entire time. If you're going to bring your dog to this location, you have to be aware that your dog might not do any exercise as advertised; it was very disappointing. The problem is, that what was supposed to be a fun day with playtime, was otherwise a very traumatizing experience for her. She already associates Petsmart with going to the veterinarian, so it will be tough for her to return there and have a good time. I was hoping that this place would be a good place for my dog, but I spent money just to have my dog locked down in a cage for 4 hours. I got my money refunded, but the whole point was that we wanted our dog to try something new, and our first time was extremely disappointed.

I'm always scared to take my Murphy to groomers at a pet store because of TikTok. But I haven't had a bad experience yet! I love the city they give my doodle, and he never leaves sad or mopey so I know they took good care of him.

The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable, but I must say, I’m really disappointed with their stock of crustaceans. I purchased some ghost shrimp from here and soon found out that they were infested with horsehair parasites (they are creepy, disgusting, and deeply disturbing). These parasites are not harmful to fish, but are deadly to any other crustaceans or snails which you might have in your aquarium. The worst part about it, there isn’t any cure for the parasite so now my tank has been exposed and infested and my shrimp are dead - legs up in the air and everything. I’ve now got dead shrimp in my aquarium along with new unwanted residents that I can’t rid my tank of. 😞

This store is really great with amazing staff. I came in and a really friendly and kind women helped me find my dog's prescription food, along with giving my dog a treat. Definitely the best experience I've had with Petsmart. Keep it up!

it was just awful! Yesterday we took our dog for grooming, but the expected haircut turned out to be a nightmare for us. We waited 2 months for an appointment with a groomer. But upon arrival, we were informed that the dog could be detained for an hour or an hour and a half. There was no choice, the dog needed a haircut. But after 6 and a half hours spent with them, the dog had not been trimmed. They said we had to wait another hour or 2!!! I couldn't resist and took the dog. But the real horror began at home. The dog vomited all evening and night. huge pieces of wool came out, not her wool. As a result, we are without a haircut, with a sick dog.

This review is for the grooming salon. Taina, our incredible dog groomer, works wonders with our pup Kani! She always welcome us warmly and take the time to understand our grooming preferences. Taina's love for dogs is evident in her gentle care and patience. When I saw Kani after his grooming session, he looked stunning and genuinely happy. I highly recommend Taina for her expertise and genuine love for dogs. We're so grateful to have found her!

Finn loved it there. The people were amazing and took great care of him! Beautiful hotel. Anyone looking for boarding for their pet must check this place out, it's perfect and Like home! Your pet will be very happy. Lots of outdoor activity. Our dog had a private suite with a TV.

This petsmart grooming location it outstanding. Out groomers name was Star and she really made lemons out of lemonade. Our rescue dog hates getting brushed and mattes easily. Star was able to shave him down and keep him easy on the eyes. Our nervous pup came out all wags. We will be going back

My visit to PetSmart was truly amazing due to Liam. I have an 8 year old vegan Chiweenie, named Buddy, who as a particular diet and just as I walked through the door was greeted by Liam who, he was able to find the right food for Buddy and I highly valued his opinion as dog owner himself. He showed me both, wet and dry options, and even attempted to give Buddy some treats and was super gracious when Buddy turned away. I was complete with my need super fast! Thanks again Liam and PetSmart 👍🏼.

Absolute joke of a business, they let me make a boarding appointment for my dog with zero intake paperwork…suspicious but when I asked about that they waved me off and said I was good to go. Day of the boarding comes and they turn me away with my dog when I HAD A FLIGHT TO CATCH. They said they don’t take dogs with heart meds, which is a fine policy if they would have communicated it and not let me made the appointment in the first place. I even chatted with the person I made the appointment with about the meds my dog takes and they said NOTHING other than “ya no problem.”Had to scramble to find a place to take my dog to last minute and only found a place all the way in SF that could help me. Thanks for nothing, and for putting me in a terrible position, Petsmart. You’re a big corporation and you can’t figure out basic process and paperwork? You should all be ashamed.

My groomer Robert did a fantastic job. Everyone there was welcoming and friendly. I was a little nervous as Harley hadn't been to a groomer since before the pandemic. But he was well taken care of and was a great guest!
