The staff is friendly and our labradoodle came back on time and okay. However, the look was completely not what we communicated. We specifically mentioned we liked the way our dog looks and do not want to change that, just trim the smallest extent, maybe a little bit in the eye area if it blocks the view. However our boy came back completely shaved down and the face is unrecognizable! Very disappointed. I hope our boy's hair grows back quickly. Photos showed the before and after.

My favorite place to get gifts for the pets of my friends & family. They’ve got a cute assortment of dog & cat toys & treats. My friends say their cats love the toys I get l from this shop- they find the catnip filled felt veggies absolutely irresistible.

Bought the best sparkly purple cat collar, looks amazing on our pitch black kitty. The store carries a huge selection of of great pet accessories. Good quality. & Nice staff. The store was small but overall ADA accessible. Street parking is ok.

Went for the first time to get my 7 month old kitten’s nails trimmed. They were very professional, affordable and did a good job. I will definitely return again for a nail trim. No appointment necessary.

I've been taking my cat, Leah, here for a couple of years for grooming. The staff here is kind and efficient. The store is adorable, filled with pet supplies, treats and trinkets. Emily who typically grooms Leah, she absolutely loves animals and your babies are safe here. They all love pets and yours will be treated well.

This is the shop where I can trust my dog's nail trim is done well and his sensitive needs for his paws are respected.Great customer care. They have booties, bulk quality treats, groomers with a kind hands and big hearts, kitty litter, bag higher quality dog food, lots of variety for what looks like a small storefront.

Bow Wow Meow has always been an exceptional grooming facility as well as carrying high-quality products. In this day and age of absolute dismal Customer Service from every corner, the folks at Bow Wow Meow are still helpful very nice and knowledgeable. But above that, when I took my German shepherd female in for a major grooming and de-shedding she got the best grooming of her life. That was no easy feat. I will always highly recommend them and specifically Groomer Kristen Gottula. She’s the real deal and believe me, my bar is extremely high!

Super Sweet Staff! I love how much they love all the animals that come in. They make my dog feel special and loved. When I mention the name "Bow Wow Meow" to my dog she goes nuts with excitement. When she is getting groomed she loves her bath and the staff handles her with such care. This says a lot about this business, if my dog rather be at the groomer then eat treats with me. They have all sorts of products for both dogs and cats too not just grooming. Thanks Bow Wow Meow Staff!

Great small, local pet store. I get my dog groomed here and they always do a great job. My dog is never scared, so they must treat her well. Lots of natural treats and unique pet clothes and accessories. Pro tip: there's secret parking in the back! Great for a quick drop off/pick up.

We have taken our poodle here for over a year for trims and have been happy with the results. They seem to treat him well and are responsive to our requests about how to trim him. They have a pretty good selection of leashes and food and similar. Seems pricey though, so we usually just get cuts.

I've enjoyed shopping at Bow Wow for nearly 20 years now. Staff are friendly and efficient and many know my name. Frequent buyer program is very helpful with discounts. I've taken all my dogs (4) here for grooming over the years, especially after getting skunked! They do a great job cleaning and de-skunking them, especially on short notice. Thanks for continuing to serve the San Carlos community with a terrific store, staff, and a smile!

Probably the best selection of food and toys that I have ever seen and I have been to quite a few pet stores on the west coast! Only place with a wide variety of humanely raised food options!I would say that some of the food is on the pricier side compared to the same items at An-jan. I found some items about 20% more expensive. But that's probably what you get for the curated choices available here. This is a favorite spot of ours and I highly recommend a visit!

I take my cat to get his nails trimmed and soft paws placed. All the people working there are lovely I would highly recommend. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because parking can be hard to come by.

My goto for cat needs. Premium wet food and kibble. Wide variety of litter and snacks. Excellent staff. A lot of people go here for dog grooming, as there is usually at least one dog looking spiffy. Front and rear entrances. Takes Gpay.

I've been going here for years. Lately they just aren't the same. Last time I had my dog groomed, I dropped him off for an 1130am appointment. They called me at 5pm. Of course, I was expecting them to say my dog was ready. No, they called to ask if they could shave him. So they had him sitting in a cage for 5.5 hrs!! I asked why and they said they had a few big dogs that had come in. I thought they work by appointment?! When I finally go to pick him up, they charged extra for "dematting." Why would they charge for that if they shaved all his hair off? His hair wasn't even that matted to begin with. They probably just rushed because they overbooked and my dog was clearly last priority. Prices have gone up, while service has gone down.

Small, boutique pet shop offering a variety of pet food and supplies. They also offer grooming and host VIP vaccine clinics on Sundays. While a little pricier than the big box pet supply stores, the help and advice is usually spot on.

They offer a wide variety of my pets needs. They also have outside affiliates come in for vaccine and teeth cleaning services. They do grooming and have pet foods and toys and flea meds. Even cannabinoid oil and biscuits for dogs who need it. I've lived in San Carlos since 1979 and since they moved in I've always been treated very friendly. Sherry, Ron and our pets.

We took our Shih-Tzu Maltese mix (Lola) to this place for the first time about 5 months ago, after we gave her a cut ouselves at home. She look terrible. 1 Star for the person who was in the front desk today! When I asked her how much for the nails she said $12 with the dremel and after she took my fur baby inside and did the job she said your total is $20 ! I was like what!! I will never gonna bring my baby back to this place and tell my friends not to do it either! Even when I asked her about the grooming she was very rude just to give information!!
