Store.Is great, but management sucks. I tried to stop somebody from shopLifting snd got yelled at... Another time I caught a person stealing. I told the cashier and they said if the owners don't care why should we? It seems like no one cares. If you don't stop it . It will keep on happening.And we end up paying the higher prices. Management, thanks for nothing.

The New 2022 year hasn't started yet but the collection of the postcards for a new year is already very limited. In the morning of December 31, there are only 2 or 3 kinds of the postcards available related to a New Year celebration. And, there is not a single card that would say 2022nd year on top of it. Sad.

Totally unmotivated staff, coupon process is far more difficult than with comparable stores (e.g., Safeway, Sprouts), and staff's lack of motivation was apparent as checker was not willing to resolve the problem even shown ad and coupons.

Good store, usually well stocked, decent produce, and meats. Sometimes the lines at check out are long, they don't have enough staff to enact the 3's a crowd policy.

Customer Service Sucks. Just witnessed Corporate customer service at its finest. Seen the Acting store manager this evening Michael tell an elderly person “he couldn’t unfortunately honor the price on the sale add because she didn’t have a digital app.”the elderly lady said “I’m on a fixed income and don’t have a smartphone” she was trying to purchase corn advertised for $0.9 an ear the manager said “ if you don’t have the app it 2 for a $1.00 which the lady walked away in disbelief. I was shocked the didn’t honor the price as every customer isn’t fortunate enough to have or able to work a smartphone.

I shop here 2-3 times a month. They have good selection of items, people are helpful too.Nice to see a security guard inside the store, keeps people safe.I would've like to give 5 if only the restroom is clean and smells fresh.

Can you hire more people, no shopping carts available. No cashiers, lines waiting to give your store money, but only 2 cashiers and 1 was so slow. Many employees standing around not doing anything to help speed the process up.Who ever is the manager there, needs to be fired immediately.

This is a good location with lots of parking, but the parking lot and the outside of the store are dirty. They don't seem to do very much to clean it up. At night it is well lit. The store itself is very clean and very well stocked. They do stay open late which is very helpful. They have a good selection and good pricing. There's always something on special. The five for $5 on the meat is always a great deal. A majority of the staff are very nice but there's one guy that is just full of attitude who can be incredibly rude. There is a pharmacy which is a great feature. The carts are kept out in the open so when it rains they get wet, and then the store gets wet and all the floors get slippery.

I can't believe someone in the San Bruno Lucky store actually took my cart with my 2 bananas and 2 zucchini with my 3 button up shopping bags from the meat section, pushed my cart up near the front & stole my shopping bags. This happened on 12/5/22 just before 430pm. This was my 1st time at this location. I realized my cart was missing because I had just picked a tri-tip to put in my cart, my cart was nowhere to be found. I told the butcher what had occurred, they announced it over the PA system, but my cart didn't reappear. I ended up walking around the store looking for my cart. I saw a cart with 2 bananas & 2 zucchini in front by the checkout, but my bags were gone. The store didn't offer any shopping bags to replace mine which were stolen while shopping in Luckys. Needless to say, I didn't complete my shopping & left without any groceries & the loss of my 3 shopping bags. Hard to shop somewhere where your bags aren't safe even for a minute, literally. This lucky store had security personnel in front which may give some a sense of security, but quite frankly, I find it more as window dressing. Good luck to those that continue to patronize, hope you don't get robbed blind nor have your car broken into in their parking lot.

I mean.... it's Lucky's. This one is fairly standard. Not super busy. Great Deli area, with sandwiches made to order. Great sushi made daily. Fried chicken breasts, wings, and fries. Ready to eat. Also has all the normal groceries.

Worst store ever for vegetarians. Most of the fruit & vegetables are not fresh. All of the water that is sprayed on the greens makes them rot! Can't tell you how many times I've picked up a piece of fruit & it squishes in my hand!

Clerk is racist and engages in microaggressions. She rang me up for EBT. She simply assumed I had EBT because I'm Black. The manager, Andy, didn't seem bothered, but managed to say 'sorry'. The district manager called and invited me in 'to make it right'. However, he did not offer a specified time. Explained he works everyday except Thursday and Saturday. I was encouraged to drop in. That's not how making a change works. One sets aside a time to discuss next steps, protocol and procedure, and/or how to ensure this does not happen again. I am confident that clerk does that often. She did not flinch when she said: I thought you had EBT.

I have been shopping at Lucky San Bruno for years as they have always been my go to store for groceries. There is always parking, friendly staff, plenty competitive items to choose from, and I always leave there feeling good. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Center Store Manager, Janet Li for going above and beyond in a recent trip. I had an issue with a purchase and didn't think Lucky was able to help. It was a long shot, but I decided to take my chance on it. To my pleasant surprise, Janet was very attentive and understanding of my problem and ensured that I get my issue resolved. I was blown away by her attentiveness and care and felt that she really had my best interest. Lucky is very LUCKY to have a leader like Janet. I observed her being professional towards her staff, she had an upbeat and positive attitude, and I can tell she's really committed to her work. I appreciate you Janet and will always remember your kindness. Thank you!

Friendly, helpful staff, wide selection of groceries plus a pharmacy. One stop shopping here, they even have a bakery and deli. The produce is very fresh and delicious. They always have something on sale and I like to collect the milk money coupons for a free milk when I get 5. It's a seasonal offer I believe as it is not available year round. If you get the weekly ad there's a coupon on the bottom every week to save on additional items. Everything is easy to find, the store is extremely clean and well kept. Everyone is approachable and easy to communicate with if you need help. There are a few self check out counters as well as regular check out that seem to move swiftly at any time of the day. Lots of parking. Close to the mall, BART and other shops.

Very nice very clean well organized store. It has everything you'd need. People are pleasant as well. They make some of the best sandwiches at the deli. Tell them what you'd like and they'll whip it up for you. Fresh and so so good!
