This used to be a go to place to get a wonderful fine dining experience, but the atmosphere has changed dramatically, all pastels and netted fake flower arrangements, looks so not fine dining anymore. Gone is classy dark wood lobby and rustic feel. Looks like it's decorated as young teenage girls room. The quality of the ingredients are not nearly as good. If I'm going to spend this much on a meal, I'd love the ingredients to be top quality and the decor to be high end. So sad, I loved this place when it was Castaway. Such a beautiful location but it's no longer fine dining.

Hello Jesus.I was in town for work and stopped by to grab a few items. Noticed that the produce is not as fresh as I was hoping. I did not find the cut fruit that I was looking for. The sparkling water selection appeared to be limited. Thank you.

So sick of this store and their employees. More often than not I am never greeted at the check out by either the checker or the person bagging my groceries. I’ve should’ve left a review long before today. I moved to the area a year ago and have hardly had a good experience here… I come here cause it’s the closest store to me. Employees including management act like they don’t want to work and are usually having their own conversations and are too busy to greet customers. I believe these employees need more customer service training. I have two family members that work for Stater Bros and agree that this is unacceptable.Thank you for reaching out. I waited a little while to reply and I’m happy to say that since leaving this review (above) my experience at your store has been pleasant the few times I have visited since…thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Just moved to the neighborhood from Redlands.Overall, a nice Store. Small. Clean. Very Friendly Staff.Usually I can find whatever I’m looking for. However, I can’t be the only person in the neighborhood who owns a coffee bean grinder and enjoys a morning coffee pour-over, or two. Typically this store will have 1 or 2 different types of Whole Bean Coffee bags among the 100 other types. I typically cook fresh food, so, I typically buy fresh food, every few days. It would be so much more convenient to buy decent whole-bean coffee from the same location I grocery shop at.In-a perfect world I s’pose. ✌️

We love shopping at our local Stater Bros. We have been shopping here for over 20 years. We always look for to our weekly ads. I also love using the digital deals! Our local Staters is close and convenient for all our grocery shopping needs. The entire staff is very friendly from the mangers to the baggers and everyone in between.

This is my go-to grocery store for almost all things grocery or just snack cravins, but what makes me rate this location so highly are the staff that I've interacted over the years they are always considerate or share some helpful information about certain products which is extremely clutch when buying food (like the cravin' mozzarella sticks does NOT have marinara sauce). There once was a problem couple of years ago when I bought a pack of cheese that seemed to have go bad before the expiration date and when I called the manager was so quick to help and allow me to get a new pack without any worries and made sure to inspect the rest of the cheese in the section. Shout out Kendall Stater Bros employees!

I was in the area and out of convenience I visited this Stater Bros it was cool. I felt a little out of my element due to it not being in my local Stater Bros. I still found what I was looking for I wasn't extremely happy with the appearance of the fried chicken it looked old and greasy. At my local Stater Bros it has a much more appealing appearance. I still enjoyed my visit here today the staff was friendly and helpful.

The Kendall location is so much better than the 40th one. I just left, Anna was my cashier, and she was so helpful!! Let me know there was a better deal on the soda I was purchasing and recommended a Starbucks drink which I happily purchased as well. I love her energy with all the customers in line!

This is our neighborhood Stater Bros! We are moving out of state and it’s going to suck leaving this store and having to get used to a new one. They have an amazing team at the Kendall Staters.

A guy asked me for some change, I politely said I had no cash. The crazy guy threw a skateboard on the ground near me because he was angry with my response. This situation almost evolved into a altercation. These pictures are of the lunatic and the vehicle he left in. If you see this guy be very careful. He is unpredictable

If you like to buy eggs and cream and who knows what else, get the item home only to find the expiration date has already transpired, this is the place for you! If you like to wait in line a long time while the cashiers have a nice, long conversation with their colleagues apparently going on break or getting off their shift, you'll love this store! If you like it when someone makes mistakes that inconvenience you and, once it's discovered, don't even apologize but, instead, react with rude behavior as though YOU'VE insulted THEM, I highly recommend Stater Bros on Kendall.

This Stater Bros. Is the best! The service is prime. The people who shop here are just better minded than those in Fontana, Rialto, Highland, or other SB storesMy suggestion is to do what I do. Go out of your way and shop this Staters! Things are always stocked unlike other staters around SB and people don't look at you like, "what the f*&# are you doing here" or "what did you take!" It's comfortable and I love the employees!

I desperately wanted to try and like this store as an alternative to my favorite stater bros located on 40th near sierra way… However it’s just isn’t the same; I went here twice in one week; they don’t seem to have very good stock of items; the customer service is mediocre especially in the meat department; and the produce is subpar.Maybe it’s just me, but my last visit I ended up just leaving my items and walking out and drove to my go to stater bros.It bothered me enough to come and write a review 🤷‍♀️

This Stater bros market is just ok.Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there are a few who act like your bothering them.They really need to retrain a few on how to be personable.Produce- is good here it's usually fresh and well maintained.Deli- employees are very lazy and don't wipe after each time they slice meat and a lot of my deli meat goes rancid. Due to their lack of cleanliness.I no longer buy anything from this deli.Butcher area is fairly clean and most of the butchers wear gloves, but a few are nasty AF & try touching the meat with their bare hands.Make sure you wash your meat extra good when you get home.Dairy- like that they carry whole organic milk.Beer/liquor- wide selectionOther Isles are well stocked and most of their products are reasonably priced.Overall a decent spot to shop.
