Absolutely amazing! I took my dog to Banfield after the first veterinarian office I visited after waiting for about an hour told me they weren't going to take her in. I was really upset. I called Banfield and they had appointments same day I took her in and they took care of our baby Rosie. She was really sick. It turns out she has pancreatitis and a little heart murmur. The first photo is the day I took her and she looks so sad and was heartbreaking. The second photo is her follow-up appointment. She's back to being her happy self. Although she may not care for her new diet, she's doing much better and we're happy. Banfield has a phenomenal staff knowledgeable and caring! Thank you to the staff at the San Bernardino Banfield hospital.

Revised: sadly, upon return for an important follow up to complete shots and etc., , we were denied by the front clerk and told to reschedule even though they were open another 35 minutes and no one was in line. We were literally standing there with a bag of poop to turn in. When we asked to hear it from the vet directly, we were told he was in a meeting. Granted, we were 23 minutes late on account of the giant dog didn't want to go quietly. But it's just poor service when they have plenty of time left on the clock. We will be canceling our service plan and returning what we can of the $2000 we spent there this week. I can't recommend this place to anyone else.

Just terrible! Worst place I have ever gone! The staff was rude when a poor defenseless dog needed their help the most. According to them they where booked for the entire day even tho no one was being seen at the time. The receptionist Amanda, was heartless, snooty, and just plain out disrespectful. I was in town for the weekend and I happened to come across a puppy. He seemed fine until I picked him up and was inspecting him. He was infested with ticks! I was concerned about his safety and decided the best course of action would be to take him to pet Hospital or veterinarian. I used google maps and it told me that Banfild pet hospital was closest in had the mostly good ratings. That was not true what so ever! We ended up taking the puppy somewhere else and heās doing fine! I decided to keep him and named him Mars!

Iāve been taking my dog to Banfield for three years and every year it gets worse. On Thursday I took my dog to the hospital for a follow up and Cassidy the super Obese front desk girl was super rude and said they will not be able to see my sick dog because he didnāt have the correct medication. I informed her that the real doctor said he had all the correct medications not even moment later the nurse came out and got my dog. Then she proceeded to constantly stare at me and ask why I was waiting for my dog and that I could leave because it would be a while. five minutes later my dog was ready. She constantly gives our false medical advice while not being a veterinarian Iām over the mistreatment towards me and my dog

I spent 300 dollars and the vet could not tell me what my cat had, he told me my cat would die within a month and this was in Dec. That he had to run 1000 dollars worh of tests. I just took my cat to another pet hospital, he knew exactly what she had and gave me 3 medications for under 250....and gave her a shot...go to Ala-Palm Animal hospital instead! 8068 Palm Avenue, Highland CA 92346 shes feeling soo much better

Itās great for really simple things but if you have a real problem, they can never see your dog on a timely manner. Nice staff, but I wonāt go back with my 3 dogs

Great option for pet plans. We even get the dogs' teeth cleaned under the plans! AND if you're traveling the country, there are many Banfield Pet Hospitals in (and a few independent of) many PetSmart stores. We've had to bring our dogs for Dr office visits around the country, and the visits are INCLUDED in the plans!

Letās start by my puppy got micro chip here he came home with a major cut where the microchip was supposed to be inserted you can tell they use way too much skin glue to try to make the cut not so noticeable. When I called and talk to the veterinarian they said sometimes they have to use the glue because the needle is too big. But this was a very big cut!Today l come in to see if they can help me because my puppy ate something that made him out of it and swaying back-and-forth. But NO THEY SAID THEY DONT TAKE WALKS IN š” they didnāt care at all about my puppyHere are pictures from when we got him home from 1 week of recovering

My puppy developed a cough so we brought him in as soon as possible. He was sent home with antibiotics and scheduled to come back in 2 weeks for recheck. We followed instructions. Puppy developed green discharge in eyes and nasal drip. Brought puppy back in for recheck as cough had significantly gotten significantly worse. Dr. Jennifer Magee stated that he seemed fine and that he was getting better despite our videos that reflected his cough and hacking that was waking him up at night and continuous throughout the day. The doctor did not clarify what exactly is wrong with the dog but instead dismissed our concerns. When asking clarifying questions about the doctorās recommendations (which included kids allergy medicine and nose spray) the doctor in a sarcastic tone offered silly over invasive treatments. I stated I would seek a second opinion and ādoctorā became upset and walked away. When reviewing the medical records I found several ārecommendationsā that were never recommended including an influenza vaccine to reduce coughing and other notes that I had declined medications. I asked to accurately update medical records and after plenty of back and forth I was provided with semi-accurate records.I feel like as pet owners we take our pets to Banfield because we believe they are in connection with Pet Smart, which is reputable company, however they are not connected at all. They simply rent the space. Banfield is subpar in its treatments and seems to drag out getting our dogs healthy. This may be because they are very adamant and frankly more concerned on selling their āpet wellness plan.ā A quick google search will show the cost and flaws of the plan they try so hard to push.Go somewhere else, a private vet. Find someone who cares for your pet like you do and not just dragging out your pets well-being for a buck.

I just moved to the area and brought my senior lab basset mix there for a comprehensive exam. I asked that they also drimmel his nails while he was there. They returned my senior dog to me limping and didnāt even mention it when I arrived to pick him up. When I said āexcuse me but my dog is limping now and he wasnāt when we got hereā - they explained that they had clipped (not drimmeled) his nails and were so forceful holding him that he was injured afterward. They then recommended pain medicine for the injury they caused and charged me for the medicine. The most heartbreaking part is that he now canāt get up stairs. I carried him out of the clinic that day and have been carrying him up and down stairs since hoping that he would heal with rest. I got one followup call after our appointment where I explained that heās still having trouble. Itās now been 2 weeks and no followup since. Heās a sweet senior dog with no bite history or bad behavior and they caused him pain, thatās just not okay. I hate giving bad reviews but I cannot in good conscience let this go unchecked. Beware newcomers.

This Banfield is the best I've been to yet. I moved from OC out to Riverside county and needed to get my dog in for his annual checkup etc. I can't remember the last time Banfield asked me to bring his stool sample in and this place did. Just goes to show that there still are places that go the extra mile to do their job right. Highly recommend and they got me in for appt very quickly as well! Will definitely return!

Was curious about it. I came to look into their services was hovering around the desk and got some pamphlets and they didn't even acknowledge me. Only gave 2 stars cause at least one sounded friendly but the other just glanced at me and went back to her work.

Dr. Stevens is the primary vet for my three pups and she has always been great treating them and letting me know about any medical issues and what the treatment plan looks like.Iād recommend her as she is wonderful and takes the time out of her busy schedule to explain symptoms or medical diagnosis and clarifies everything. I think we are getting good care but unsure who is giving it. You never see a Veterinarian and unless you demand the Veterinarian to call you after the exam, you only have Vet Techs calling you. There appears to be one Vet and 5 or 6 Technicians. I pay for the expert, not his/her helper. It frustrates me. I am looking for a new Veterinarian that can take care of my dog š for ongoing care. With that said, I do not think my dog has been harmed in any way at Banfield. The care seems like a high risk for 1 harried Vet and the Technicians to miss something important.

They are good for routine medical visits, however, itās almost impossible to get a an appointment if you need to see a Vet within 3-5 days. They are always booked up and have told me to go to other Petcoās for a quicker appt. I like the staff, but I would get a regular Vet if your pet needs regular treatments.

I went to my appointment 10 minutes ahead of my 4:30 schedule (thereās a 15 minute window), and the receptionist told me to reschedule my appointment despite taking way too long on the phone. I was waiting to sign my dog in, but she decides to tell me to reschedule with utter attitude. Terrible receptionist.

My cat and dog both go here and they are well taken care of. It is a bit pricey for anything other than what's included in their insurance packages and it's very corporate, however it's also nice that there is very standard pricing, so you don't have to worry about hearing about how someone was able to negotiate a lower price.

Although Dr. Stevens and the receptionists were really nice, the tech came across as extremely judgmental, short, and rude. I brought in a dog that isn't mine that I saw needed medical treatment and was treated like trash despite doing everything he needed. Maybe she didn't know the backstory, but regardless you shouldn't treat clients in this manner.
