Loved the boarding school for my French Bulldog puppy. Melissa and her staff went above and beyond for Papasito. Sent me pictures and video's of my puppy's dailying activities. Plus the price for 24 hour care (boarding) was cheaper than Petsmart and other places. Awesome place and service!

I spent $300 for blood work. The results were " maybe this and maybe that ". And I needed another blood test for another $450.I was told tests back Tuesday and they would call me. I had to call them wed.

The vet was great. He worked on Zilla, our iguana that had her arm torn off by our dogs, and she's using her little limb to help climb everywhere. We thought her surgery was going to be $700. They cost $300.

This place is EXPENSIVE, but since we didn't have another option at the time we went ahead and took our dog to get spay. Worst place we could have gone to. The ladies there are very nice yes I won't deny that but the surgeon's work is horrible, they sewed up our dog so bad it looks horrible and they can't say that's the way it's done because I've seen and done it my self. They charge so much money, you would expect an exceptional job but no my poor girl has the worst stitches ever . Will not go back and I do not recommend this place. I would love to post a picture but it's not giving me an option

The staff speaks to each other about customers in Spanish to each other like they arnt understood bythe minorities in the waiting lobby. when they're confronted that this is rude to do this in mixed company,They call you a racist! The unprofessionalism of the doctor decarlo is unappealing with his temper As he comes out to defend his RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL staff and also call us racist! they go further than that and go to your Facebook page and get the information from your. Family and your friends and their employment locations and harass and threaten them. This place is highly unprofessional stay far away from them.And fake reviews!

OMG! They are fabulous, we have been taking both our dogs here for the past 8 years. In fact, we live in San Diego and make the drive because they have always taken such good care of our dogs and are a tremendous value compared to prices charged down here. What also impressed us was the warm and caring staff, they make you feel like your pet is incredibly special and they will make sure to treat them with tremendous kindness. We would highly recommend this vet center!!!

Very disappointed. Have been coming here for years with several different dogs. All dogs always had self administered vaccines. Today they turned my dog away for that very reason and denied me service. They had just seen that very same puppy 8 weeks prior and had no issue with his vaccines. They knew about the vaccines when scheduling my appointment. Made me drive 45 min down here. Sit and wait for an additional 30 just to come up with this nonsense excuse. This is not the first bad experience I have had here just the first one I decided to share. I still came here because their location was convenient. However after the treatment I now recieved here even the convenient location will no longer make me wanna come here. Go to the VCA Northside instead. They will not change their "policies" on you the way this mom and pop shop will.

The advanced care that Dr. DiCarlo provides is incredible as our pets are literally members of our family. They provide thorough care & refer to your pet by their name; which is HUGE is my mind!!!

Sorry, used to recommend them but they are basically a well-dog hospital. When your pet gets sick they will not give you preference for an appointment. They will not see your dog. You are told to find another vet or go to an emergency vet hospital. Or, you can always wait two weeks for an appointment while your pet suffers or dies. As a 20+ year customer, I was shocked. This did not happen after hours or on a weekend, either. This was like a Tuesday at about 10 AM and the girl on the phone was extremely rude. Great place if you just need expensive shots or neutering. It is not until you REALLY need them that you find out what they are really about and it is NOT you or your pet.

The staff here are very caring kind and patient. I've been taking my dog here for three years and she is healthy and happy. I want to keep that going for as long as possible and I'm not stressing because I can always take her here. She loved her recent stay in the boarding house with Hannah and had a great time at the pool party!

My dog was healthy and he just need it the rabies shot in order to pay his license , they told us about a complete physical exam that was expensive and I said no thank you , at the moment just the rabies shot please ,he had already the other vaccines . the lady got upset and gave the shot , next day my dog stared to refuse eating and started to show something strange ,next week my dog dies . Very suspicious to me . I asked questions to people and a few had similar issues . Even if this happens some time ago finally I got the courage to write this review .

I never write reviews but this was so upsetting! I came to this place because I was told over the phone consultations are FREE with appointments but walk-ins they charge so I made an appointment drove all the way there and was told I do have to pay the consultation fee! The girl at the front desk was irritating about it, more upsetting was after I was given my estimate ($800)for my pets teeth cleaning i mentioned it was a lot I was not able to pay that today and BEFORE I can ask questions I felt like the older lady was rushing me out saying I can go now,so rude it was such an upsetting experience at this place! They were pretty rude once they realized I was not going to pay that amount. Not so friendly. I will never come here again. Dr seemed nice (2stars)but I wish I could have asked him more questions after this but i was rushed out. Extremely upsetting! I was also told "you get what you pay for" Wow.

They wouldn't let my dog stay here during the 4th of July holiday because the Doctor and person in charge of boarding weren't there, even though I had already set an appointment with boarding. First time clients must have a mandatory exam (which I understand) but what was the point of having 2 vets there if they could literally do nothing for my dog without the doctor??? I was so disappointed when they told us we couldn't leave my dog here since my family already planned a whole trip.... we had to cancel our plans because of them. The vets there were pretty nice but the whole situation really sucked.

Clearly, the boarding care has been reconfigured to be more user friendly, smoother operating, and more efficient. The boarding person (Hannah) was kind, helpful, has a great demeanor, and is obviously knowledgeable about dogs. She was a pleasure to interact with.I see that they now have a doggy day care at a very reasonable price, and the availability of text updates to reassure you that your extended family is doing well while you're away.Thank you, HannahAnd Animal Care Wellness!

I am a senior on a fixed income. My little rescue desperately required dental work and was suffering with sepsis. Even during this pandemic, the staff was kind and helpful. They gave me antibiotics for my dog for about 20 days. This permitted me time to save up for the cost of dental surgery and saved my dog's life. I am very grateful.

Animal Care Welness Center really cares!Dr. Di Carlo and his wonderful staff are knowledgeable, professional,caring and compassionate. I've been taking my fur babies to Dr. Di Carlo and his staff for several years and they have always received the best care possible. Recently, my precious pup Yoshi had to stay at the facility for 48 hours to receive a special procedure. Dr. Di Carlo, his loving wife Niza and the passionate and dedicated staff made sure to make those difficult 48 hours much easier. The incredible staff took videos and pictures of my pup and sent them to me throughout his stay to let me know how he was doing. It was such a relief and joy to see my little guy receive so much individual affection. Having the loving staff members with him was a blessing. They played with him and gave him hugs and kisses. Just like at home. He was even taken on walks and was able to play in a nice safe enclosed patio. I was also allowed to visit and spend time with my pup during his stay. It's not always easy to leave a beloved pet in the care of others however, I am truly confident that my little guy was in the best care possible. Thank you to everyone at Animal Care Wellness Care Center, you're the best and I am grateful for your care.

Staff is very sweet, but I'm very bothered that they gave my cat an injectable and did a urinalysis without getting my consent first. They brought her back without me after I explained the situation andtand didn't say what they were going to do except exam her. Well they bring her back out to me with a urinalysis done that I did not approve of and an injectable but I didn't give the authorization to give. I find it strange that you wouldn't first get the owners confirmation before injecting a cat with antibiotics and taking a urine sample from her and sending it to a lab. I would have declined the urinalysis but I didn't have the option because they just went ahead and did it without asking me first.

I've been to several Vets in San Bernardino/Highland and I have found my permanent Vet with Dr. DiCarlo and his staff. They are the absolute best, most caring, compassionate people I've ever met.They have a beautiful facility, always very clean and sanitary. They also offer dental/grooming/ boarding.Love this place 🐾🐾🐾

These people are shysters. We brought our dog in there every other week for months. They just kept finding reasons to charge us and never treated our furry baby. One call about a second opinion to another vet and we found out they were mishandling our dogs case. They billed us hundreds of dollars, ignored our questions, and didn't run proper tests. They never helped our dog.

I miss the old doctor, and since covid, the new one does not come to speak to you directly, which I understand but would like it if they found a safe way to do so, especially since humans are not allowed in during exams. It is nearly impossible to get clear information and they will just fill prescriptions without asking you and boy are they high priced! They give you a major guilt trip if you ask to have it sent to another pharmacy too. They want to do procedures in animals towards the end of their life that are not necessary, as if they are trying to get every last dime from you.I'm going to find another vet.
