Cashier with long hair hates people , can’t say Hi or Thank you ! It would be nice to have self check out, I tend to forget why I avoid Andronico’s until I end up inside by accident or too lazy to drive to mollie stones but overall not worth it to have a rude person ruin my day .Edit,changed review to 5* since the store seems to care and it doesn’t appear to be their fault, they shouldn’t be punished for giving someone a chance , will leave the review up so anyone who greets or thanks that guy but is met with silence doesn’t get too emotionally destroyed like I did LMAO

Such a great local store! Everything is so clean and well-organized. Lots of variety and you can pretty much find everything at this store. Reasonable prices, too!

Update: they were bought it by Safeway. The results of which include sacking many employees and turning it into the second Safeway within a mile.Great little market, priced decently, friendly staff. Layout is a bit odd but it seems more an issue with the building itself. Will definitely be making this a semi-regular "walk-to" spot!

They carry a large section of overpriced organic produce, some great meat selections, if you're willing to pay more than average butcher pricing and a limited selection on almost everything. The reason I gave this store 3 stars instead of less is due to the impeccable customer attention and service. Not a fan of the store itself, but the employees make it better than it should be.

This store has outstanding service and so much to choose from. The only unfortunate piece is that they have so much delicious dessert foods and it kills me as I am not supposed to eat sweets. Not so much of a problem for the wife and our son's family though.

This is the nicest Safeway with upper end items I've seen. If this Safeway was in my neighborhood, I would be a regular. Very impressed! Great selection and quality of fruits, vegetables, cheese, wine, and pre-packed fresh meals and sandwiches.

This place was better when it was Andronico’s, it was recently bought by Safeway I guess, which doesn’t make much sense because there are two Safeway is within walking distance of this one. Safeway has effectively monopolize the county, you should shop at United market instead because they actually give a damn about the community. The Safeway is an all bad as they kept the staff which is good.

Other than the name, this is nothing like a Safeway. Top quality meats and vegetables. Lots of organic options, and a good variety of local food. Not quite as good as The Good Earth, but still excellent and a fraction of the price.

It's a great little store. The staff has to work really hard to try to cram in all the choices people want, so it's challenging. More for them, I think, but if you tend towards claustrophobia, don't go when it's busy.

I usually shop at Woodlands or Mollie Stone markets, which are both excellent, but drove an extra 5 minutes to Andronico's in San Anselmo today and was pretty blown away by the extraordinary quality and selection.

Better than expected, the feel of the place is like the old store with better prices. Not thrilled by the staff, not the vibe of this area. I'll probably shop here for some stuff, but United Market is just up the street and that is family run and good prices too.

Why does this place exist? it seems to me to be the worse of Safeway at Redhill and the old Andronico's. The only benefit is that it carries the giant size ice cream that my husband loves. Not enough of a reason to go back and wait​ 15 minutes in a long, disorganized line while someone looks for a checker.

Love this market. Andronico's is the only market (that I know of) carries my families favorite ice cream. It's s long drive from Petaluma to San Anselmo, but so worth it. They carry quite a few items I only remember seeing in Italy, so I am very happy I found this jewel of a store. Many thanks to John for ordering my icecream through the distributor. John is extremely friendly, helpful and dependable. Appreciate that! I am very happy to support our local businesses in Marin.

A Safeway and more. Has a great deli and meat counter, and salad bar. Good produce and lots of organic foods. The small parking reflects the lack of crowds and long lines that other Safeways have.

Great market work the highest level of quality. You must stop by the bakery, deli and butcher counters! Great hot food available to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

I loved to that the cheese area was well diversified, as well as other premium products like fruit syrup (european) or balsamic. But the aisles are so narrow, it was quite difficult to have two caddies passing by at the same time!

Pretended she couldn't take EBT card. This is same as Safeway, went to next register also pretended couldn't take EBT card said machine down, suddenly ok when I gave Visa debit, same machine that was down, hmmmm went thru just fine with reg debit.

Picking up DoorDash order, I was told they were closing in 5 minutes as soon as I walked in the door. The store didn't close officially for about 20 minutes.

My experience at this store is uniformly excellent. The staff members are extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked. I find organic products and everything else I need here.

Dan akyroid developed his own vodka the bagger said. What? Lol. It's okay but selection is limited and it's better than b street safeway in that there aren't any homeless hitting you up on the way in or out.

Third time out for a turkey and cheese sandwich on WHITE (they list it as a bread on the sign) and they offer up the sliced french bread. Light in color but NOT white bread. The first time I was there, the person behind the counter forgot to make my sandwich. Hmmm. Too new???

They have good produce, meat etc..more pricey version of safeway..it is like nuggets or Mollie stones.with some safeway items and pricing..got some different ice cream that you cannot find..

Previously Guasco's, then Andronico's, now Safeway with more unusual selections than a typical Safeway----like the typical one about 500 yards away at the Red Hill Ctr. If you want different options, this might be the store for you. First right as you get on to Center from the Hub.
