Service was okay. I appreciate treats being there and appreciate almost always their service. They sliced their meats very thick in the deli meat section. I like my sandwich meats sliced very ultra thin. Unfortunately just asking them to slice the meat always seems like you're asking them to bake a cake or something else. They always get his look on their face like "oh no my god this is horrible I have to slice something" either they're super lazy or just a pain because they slice their meat really thick. Maybe they just shouldn't slice them ahead of time. Or maybe lots of people that buy their meats bologna or turkey like I'm thick. Other than that I like treats. It is a bit on the pricey side but then that's just retail in a little town in the country.

We were hungry and almost drove right past it. It looked like a hardware store from the outside but I convinced my teen (who was crashing) that we should just go in to see for sure. Sure enough, it's a grocery/hardware store. We were able to get ready-made salads and they hit the spot. Crises averted.

It can be a little pricey, but it Is a good store for a small town. Meat and produce is 5 star, as well as the employees. I just wish in summertime, they could stay open till 7 pm (not 6 pm)

The freshly cooked pork ribs located in the meat dept are delicious! And I found a very warm bag of La Brea Baquette! And a bag of La Fortaleza stone ground corn tortilla chips for under $2! Love these finds! 😋

I have been using this store for 52 years. My dad and grandma used this store. It's a hometown store. This is a truly home town store

Places like this are the reason I only go to big named grocery stores. Stupid rules can't go in with a back pack but you can carry a purse. Hope you go under

Moved away to Chico. Came back and Fred was no longer with us. Store isn't the same anymore. Sad

Not great for all your shopping if you're on a budget but the meat counter is excellent, the customer service is always top notch, and the hardware store downstairs is awesome!

Absolutely love this store. Their meat counter is top notch, they have a great selection for being a small store. Their produce is always fresh and often you can find local produce. Their prices are a touch higher than some of the bigger stores, but I'd much rather shop local, than drive 20 minutes to a bigger chain store just to save a few bucks.

I have no idea where these 5 star reviews are coming from. Everything here is crazy overpriced and can be found cheaper a short drive away. Some employees wear masks, others make fun of or harass customers for wearing a mask. Avoid this place if you can, they get away with anything they want because they have no competition nearby. 👎
