Came in last week with the wife for some paintbrushes, mind you an hour before closing. They had all the plants and what not from outside blocking the aisles 😡 it was a freaking maze just to get to the brushes! An hour before closing!

They might not have everything but they do have a very good selection or stuff that's is necessary. All of the staff is very helpful and nice and they know what they are talking about if not the person your talking to they person will get another employee that does. And it doesn't take 30 mins. to wait to get help. Just wish the hours were longer in the evening.But I'll trade that for knowledge and kindness any day!

This location always focuses on customer service. In all the years I've been coming to this location, I have not ONCE had a bad experience. Every staff member is always polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. They also have harder to find items used in older homes.The prices are a little higher. But I'm happy to pay them for the convenience and better customer experience.

The tellers were nice and respectful but management has an attitude of superiority and they look at you like your stealing. Prices at the register don't match the ones in the isles so when u check out be ready to pay twice as much as you thought.

Give Yvonne a bonus!!! I had car trouble and stopped to get some supplies at the Salinas Ace. Yvonne came up to me and asked if she could help me find anything, and after I explained my situation, she asked to come take a look at the car, having worked as a mechanic for years. She immediately recognized the missing part I needed (sold at Ace) and helped me install it, fixing my issue! I was so stressed when I came into the store because I had such a long drive ahead of me, but Yvonne saved the day and truly went above and beyond to help me out. I can't thank you enough, Yvonne!

I love my local Ace hardware store. It's a great alternative to the big box places and without them we would be Wal Marted. Friendly helpful staff. They are all pretty young but I have never felt too old to get their help. I want them to stay in business. One of my regular shops in the Star market group.

This place is slappin! Every time I walk in, I feel like I can ask anyone about any project I may be working on and they'll know exactly what I may be looking for or need. Very knowledgeable staff. Prices are a little higher than the bigger stores but it's a price I'm willing to pay to experience convenience, knowledge and attention to detail.

Love this ace! Staff is always pretty friendly but I went in recently needing a specific color of paint and could only use a certain no voc base which made it very hard to get the exact color. Betty took her time helping and kept mixing until it was exactly what I needed. She was so patient and kind and also had an excellent eye for color. I would definitely recommend seeing her if you need paint!

Hardware store that has a good selection of items for a locally owned store vs a warehouse. Clerks are helpful. Has items like window screen replacements etc. Good place to come in, find what u are looking for and leave.

I love to go to small hardware stores in lieu of Lowe's and Home Depot. The store associates are great like Vincent. What is lowering my score is the way management treats the Ace Reward members. We get coupons in the mail, but the POS system will not allow the coupon to be printed out or used electronically. When I approached the store Supervisor, David, he said we can go to another store. Not what I want to hear from leadership that they don't mind losing business.

Not many customers during my visit.Picked up a Dovetail Pull Saw.At $17.47 the saw is kind of expensive for its quality.Checkout was quick.Like many stores, Ace Hardware asks for a "Rewards Card".I don't like my purchases being tracked.
