I love this store! I feel like they have the biggest selection in our area when it comes to home improvement.We come all the time and I had to write a review for my last visit. We needed quite a few pieces of wood trimmed down to fit into my car and employee Miguel took so much time with us and went above and beyond to cut the wood not only to the size to fit in my car but to the final dimensions we needed. He spent almost a half hour making sure we got everything perfectly cut and then actually came out to make sure it fit while loading.He deserves store recognition!

The Salinas Lowe’s is a trek for me but super mellow on the weekend and worth the trip. more developed store and more selection than Home Depot and less hectic factor.

No customer service. Lost out on a bbq sale, Black stone, and a lawn mower sale. When its the closest big box store to a new house and you want to get the back yard figured out in one stop dont come here. Will be going to home depot or the gilroy Lowes from now on. I know this won't mean much, but just sad. When employees stare at the ground and not greet the customers at the customer service desk why have one. Standing around for help to make purchases and have them page someone and no one shows up....enough said. Would give zero stars but not able to.

It's a decent store. Clean, staffed appropriately. I prefer Lowe's to Home Depot, and prefer their tool brands as well. Especially Estwing, Irwin & Kobalt (over husky). But the service I've received at this location could be a lot better. I mean, it is a mega corp - so of course they're not going to pay people who know about the products & related industries and such enough to work there. Just warm bodies to stock shelves. But during my visits this past year (approx 1/mo), I have had 1 in which the an associate was very helpful and went out of his way to help me. But the vast majority of employees were very young, reluctant to to help (especially to actually find a solution) and my last visit today the associate that looked up an item for me a few minutes started speaking very quietly to another associate in Spanish, and I didn't look over but I do know Spanish and I *believe he was talking about me from the content & context, and it wasn't appropriate. Not the worst things a person could say for sure, just complaining about me and picking a bit - but what got me was the assumption that I wouldn't know what he was saying. But I did.

wow they have worse customer service than Home Dept and that's saying a lot. As I write this I am back in the cue for "customer care" after about 40 minutes of being transferred etc. So, I bought a tile table. It was delivered with a lot of damage. I returned it and reordered. Same thing happened again. Its pretty obvious that they just packaged up returned items and sent them back out again. So I ordered for the third time. The return label for the second table had a tracking number that Fed X didnt recognize. they advised me to get a new return tracking number. Called customer service...waited...talked to a person for quite awhile...and then got kicked out of the cue. help!

I went to Lowes in Salinas last night to buy some plywood. 2 employees at this store turned this review from 1 star to 5 star. The first was Curtis. If I have ever found a more courteous, knowledgeable and helpful sales associate anywhere, I surely don't remember. Curtis came to me and asked if I needed help rather than me having to walk around hoping to find someone. After he took me to the item I was looking for, we had a short chat and he went on his way. Curtis is the reason I'll be coming back to Lowes hands down. After the experience with Curtis I had just the opposite experience with an associate over in the lumber dept. This person obviously didn't want to be there, and it showed. I asked to speak with the manager, a fellow by the name of Joaquim. Going to store managers with a complaint is something I seldom do. But in this case the manager needed to be made aware of this person'. The manager I spoke with was Joaquim. He briefly explained to me that he had just recently transferred from San Jose to Salinas and was still getting accustomed to a different town and a different store. Joaquim listened to my complaint and that was all I had hoped for. He struck me as genuine and most concerned that he personally wants to see every customer that walks out of Lowes a happy customer. So it was a pleasure to meet both Curtis and Joaquim last night. Combined these 2 guys turned a certain 1 star review into a 5 star review and kept a customer of long standing.

Horrible experience this morning 1/14/24. My Husband and I have been doing some home improvements and today we came in to Lowe’s located in Salinas, Ca! I went to the front of the store and asked an employee if she could send us some help in the flooring and grout dept., after waiting for a help for 30 minutes and 2 attempts requesting help with the employee, we left and took our business and money elsewhere. Very disappointed and disgusted with the lack of support and help with Lowe’s and the employees working.

Whenever they deliver things and place them in my house, they always scratch or damage the itemThey always have to come back to my house This cannot be a problem anymore. Don't ask for help as nobody comes. There are 7-8 associates, not busy with anything particular, standing around chit chatting, and when I ask for help after paying to load up the flooring products into my car, nobody came. After waiting and multiple pages for help, I did it myself. Btw this was at 5pm on a Tuesday.

Horrible!!! I mean horrible customer service. Specially the forklift crew. You ask them if they can help bring down a stack of plywood on second shelf. The workers tell me they are busy right now. I look around the store and there is no more customers. they park that forklift and they take off somewhere else. 45min later you see them just walking. I just don’t get it. I understand they are not on salary, or it doesn’t seem like they are working on a hourly pay cause they take their time. If they are not there to work then they should find another job they actually will enjoy. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!This is awful.

I ordered an item online and wanted curbside pickup but I couldn't wait 10 minutes outside and went inside to pickup the item. Not a lot of staff to handle orders.I give them 5 Stars because I won't ever shop at Home Depot because of bad service and cheap products.Every time I've shopped at Lowes in the past I get lots of help from their sales people

When their delivery service failed miserably to deliver a dryer to my rental on a specific date, Lowe’s excuse was “it’s out of our hands, it’s a third-party that delivers the product. I cut up my credit card on the spot. I will never do business with Lowe’s again!

It was a mixed bag of experiences. I did find an associate that helped me find what I was on search, but then when I went to cashier was rude to a customer before me and dealt with me no better and what was really disturbing was the fact the supervisor watching was unaffected by the attitude displayed. I ignored the rumors as I haven't experienced this in Fresno but this wasn't encouraging my confidence.

Love walking into this store. Lots of variety.We also get our table top Christmas trees here.We were on the look out for a Christmas 🎄 Tree Storage 🎒 Bag. Not all their holiday items were out yet. The store associate Sabrina was helpful,kind, and didn't stop until the item was in our hands.This young lady went through the isle with use,got the lift to look up at the top. Their handheld computer showed the item was in the store and after several trips to the stock room, located the item. Very refreshing 😌 these days because all too often we hear, "Sorry we don't have " or "It's out of stock" the younger workforce don't really work or know how. 😉 She's 👏 Amazing. Thank you for the Excellent service.

Went to buy a dryer and took over half an hour to get help from personal at the appliance center(which we didn't got) until Rosa came and helped us in less than 5mnts we were done went over to costumer service to pay invoice for dryer took over 20mnts and nothing guess what until Rosa came again and charged us for the invoice(Rosa and his partner were looking for the dryer at this waiting time wich they had with them at the time of charging us) Rosa came to the rescue both time also help us load the dryer to the vehicle with his parter(didn't got his name) Thank you Rosa and his Partner.

Update: I went back in and spoke with a very friendly and helpful manager who solved my problem and said I never should have been treated the way I was by the sales associate. Lesson: when in doubt, speak to a manager!I bought $1500 gas range. It was delivered by 2 rude workers. A part was missing, so I called the delivery guys twice to ask them to check the packaging for the missing part. They never returned my call, so I went to the store. The store employee was likewise rude. She showed no concern whatsoever and said "that's not our problem, you'll have to call the manufacturer." Lowe's sold me something that was incomplete and then told me that it was my problem, not their's, that it was incomplete. Whatever happened to "the customer is always right," especially when I was! So, then I called LG 4 times and spent an hour on the phone before I spoke with the right person, who hopefully will send me the part within 10 days. Needless to say, I'll buy my next appliance from someplace other than Lowe's.

Do not order any large items from Lowe’s online and expect much help with problems after delivery from this store or from Lowe’s 800 number. We had a toilet delivered smashed. It took a week of more than a dozen phone calls to resolve. I talked to multiple associates, managers, delivery drivers, and the deliver company. Everyone says talk to the store. The store says they will call me back. I had to call back all week. They went to the wrong address for the first pickup and when they finally refunded me they didn’t refund $86.00 in delivery fees. I had to call Lowe’s 800 number again today to get that back. The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and I used to prefer Lowe’s to Home Depot.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a new washer and dryer online, but Lowes failed every aspect. Long story short. After waiting nearly two weeks for an installation appt, Lowes charged my account but missed my delivery day and now won't be able to schedule it again until next week.Very little professionalism and you can't contact anyone who cares. I tried calling the store. They picked up and were silent, and when I finally said "Hello?", they just giggled and hung up. When I called the number in the email I was put on hold for almost 25 minutes. When I finally reached someone they didn't seem to really care that I was now washing my clothes in the bathtub.Today I called for a FULL REFUND so I could buy someplace else. The person was somewhat professional, but made no effort, outside of refunding my money, to keep my business.I've decided to buy my appliances at Costco where they at least pretend to make an effort to keep their customers.

It was great i went to the tools section and asked the guy where is this and I showed him the picture off the website he looked at the number and started to help me find it. We couldnt find in his section so he said look down the ile at end so I did it wasnt there so I came back and he then checked on the rack above and found it. He cut open the box and handed it to me. This is the best service I've ever got from a hardware store im going back as soon as I have more money. Im very happy. This is what i was looking for.

LOWES IN SALINAS DOES NOT HONOR IT'S CARPET CONTRACTS!DO NOT BUY CARPET FROM LOWES!It has been 2 weeks 3 days since the partial installation of carpet in my home. I have been dealing with long wait times for this to be resolved. It feels like they are stalling to see if I will just go away.The Salinas Lowes (store 2805) measured my carpet and sent installers with not enough carpet to complete the living room of my home and sent the installer with a cheaper padding (I ordered the medium grade). Make sure you are getting what you pay for.The contract states 7 areas to be updated with stairs.Richard, the Assistant Manger called me last week on June 5th and offered me the product for free if I would pay for the installation. I thought I already paid for the installation and why should I have to pay for installation when clearly Lowes did not send the correct amount of carpet the first time. He said he would have to talk to his boss and get back to me in a couple of days, which was Friday, June 9, 2023. Richard did not call me back with an update, so I called him and left a message. I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE SALINAS LOWES, AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY CONTRACT HONORED AND CARPET INSTALLED THIS WEEK!!!!I have family coming for Father's Day and if it is not completed before then, I will explain to all of my family members the difficulty I am having with the Salinas Lowes and how they do no honor their contractual obligations.I am a hardworking single person who feels taken advantage of by LOWES.Looking to place a complaint with the California Contractors Licensing Board, Better Business Bureau, and Corporate if LOWES contractual obligations are not met.
