Regarding the groomer. Never going back! Took my dog 2 times and she was sent away once for someone failing to add her haircut to the schedule and second time for us showing up late. The confusion came from them sending confirmations to the wrong number even though I confirm my phone number with them every time. I find it interesting that they can call me to pick up my dog, but that they are sending confirmations to the wrong number makes no sense at all.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Besides the terrible living conditions of pets, the employee made myself and the person I was with very uncomfortable. We went interested in buying multiple fish for our new location but as soon as we arrived the employee stood up and followed us to the back of the store(where the fish are) and just pretended to work in the most obvious possible way, when we walked around her to look at the other fish on the other end of the store, we turn around and she is standing there behind us chatting it up with one of the security workers, out of all the places she could’ve been at the store, she just happened to be right where we were, it honestly made us feel so uncomfortable that we could not shop in peace, she never came up to us and asked if we needed help with anything. I hope this place shuts down because those fishes are suffering with the nasty water they swim in which reflects on this establishments customer service.

Wide variety of pets from fish, cats and dogs to more speciality like turtles, birds, snakes, and arachnids. We just got a new aquarium set up and cycled, will be looking at a more diverse fish selection from here once our current residence are established!Friendly staff, ample parking, great spot!!

Friendly staff and great prices. Picked up my Red Eyed Tree Frog a few days ago, service was quick and they were very knowledgeable. Def one of my favorite places for reptiles/supplies. A+

Just picked my dog up from grooming at Jurassic Pets. This was her third time there, and it will be her last. The groomer always acts snarky and put upon. This time, the guy left a cotton ball stuffed down her ear. The whole place is disorganized and unpleasant.

I’ve Been here three times over the last three years. Every time I bought crickets over half of them were dead and the bag the guy put them in smelled horrific. Instead of complaining I just threw them out. Purchased a large birdcage for my English budgerigars and when I got it home and attempted to peel off the label there was a label underneath. Top label said it was from Top Pets, an incredibly good brand, and hidden label said Xianshue. If you care about your pets don’t go here. Even pet smart is better. Ashamed for the owner with no morals. No ethics, just struggling to make $. Really disappointed. The guy was nice though

Awesome shop. Loved talking with the person doing the fish. I didn't get their name. Super friendly and a good variety of fish and goodies for your animal babies. We were actually next door at the dentist and live in Santa cruz but we had to go in! They are pretty awesome!

Mother in Law took her small dog there and she was shocked when the groomer called her to come pick up the dog because she was moving to much. She doesn’t have a problem anywhere else. When my Mother in Law picked up her dog she was only washed but not brushed and groomer was very rude. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone to get their dog groomed.

These guys are great. Everyone that works there is very knowledgeable about all of there products. They are always super helpful. I've observed them other customers who have different pets than I do and they always have a solution. Jurassic Pets is a great local small business with a great reputation that they have earned and uphold.

I’ve been coming here for years. The staff is friendly and the groomer is just the best. I’ve been bringing my Great Pyrenees here weekly since he was 12 weeks old (he’s almost 1 year now) and I’ve never been disappointed. 5 stars all the way!

Groomer did not finish my dogs groom Because she wouldn’t hold still. She sits fine everywhere else including with me. She was half finished and he still charge me full price. Very disappointed.

Just popped in for a folding dog crate that I needed for tonight, short notice. They had three sizes and the right one for my pooch. I stop in their for snake stuff with my girls and also dog food. Support your local pet store, they are also way more knowledgeable than craporate chain stores.

Small store but staff is very helpful. Had questions on fish food and they were at my side showing me different types of fish food and what each one does for the fish. Would definitely go back if/when i need pet supplies.

They were so helpful. Who knew I couldn't carry a 27lb bag of dog food. They carried it out to my car. Recommended a sample I could try to see if my dog liked a different food since she's been holding off on eating until she has finally starved her self. They young man also searched high and low for the bag of duck feet I was looking for. They didn't have it but they had a sale on individual treats buy 3 get 1 free. I will always return to that store.

I love this place.... its conveniently located in downtown Salinas, the staff here is friendly, knowable and always helpful when you need help or suggestions on the various pet foods/supplies! Great variety of pet food brands! (Nichole is awesome!)

I took my dogs to be groomed & was in shock when I picked them up. My female was completely unfinished.... tufts of hair everywhere, a beard hanging down from her chin & stragglers of long pieces of hair on her ears. My male dog was bathed only, the groomer said he wouldn’t let him blow dry therefore he couldn’t even give him a haircut. He is not afraid of a blow dryer....These dogs have been groomed many times & were never sent home unfinished. I paid in advance $110 & was only reimbursed $30.

Hi! I love how many different type of fish they have and all the animals they carry. They even have a rooster. I enjoy just being there and looking around and it's near everything and close to homes just in case you need to run over and get something and didn't have time to go to pet smart EXT...

I come here for cat food and they have the best cat litter. If i need crickets they usually have them. And my puoo6y loves the bones. Great place/great staff

Carries a big variety of premium quality dog and cat food. Most of them have no preservatives. Very nice owner and employees work there.
