I go here for my groceries, don't expect it to look like nob hill but it has a great variety of fruits and vegetables and usually organized when I go. Frozen foods and packaged food is good here too. Their prices are so affordable for me and this is why I appreciate this store... The cashier's have always been polite to me whenever I go and they speak both Spanish and English...

The store is big,they have alot of produce,its cheap,they dont charge to much taxes,wich is good,the parking its dirty,they need to clean it frecuently,the restroom its hoooooooooorible,they need to clean ot all day every day,one day i olmost puke,thats why i gave it 4 stars.

Lotsa goodies , pretty much everything I enjoy munching on , breakfast needs , lunch stuff , whenever I do eat a lunch , n dinner needs. The prices are difficult to beat for the amount that you purchase. The same amount of product you purchase there , say a FULL basket , will get you maybe 2/3rds to 3/4ters of a same size basket at the same amount spending. (some folks don't havta concern themselves with this issue but those that need to watch their spending needs , well , when i get the receipt n then look at the amount I got , hmmm , ( the thought 'good deal', drifts thru the mind. Been shopping there for years wit but one issue. They can refurbish their men's banyo. I also really enjoy admiring the latinas that go in n out while shopping in both stores.

The parking lot is full all the ladies selling flowers standing for hours when the law says they can be there for 15minutes even one lady in the corner has a business already in Salinas and she is blocking traffic with all the cars trying to pass. She can take her flowers at her building not far from there. Thanks for your time.

this place bothered my mother, an older lady. they accused her of stealing. she was so humiliated, she even showed her purse and bag, nothing was in there, but the security person kept bothering her, and did not even say sorry , after seeing nothing was stolen, she just left and did not even end up buying her groceries. the person kept harassing her, that someone told him, He himself did not see anything. people make things up all the time, and for her to have dealt with this is really messed up. this is crazy that managers allow people to do this to their customers. I was going to go myself and complain, but I rather just warn all you guys out there, this might happen to your family as well.

Management at the Deli department is rude and disrespectful. I have never overheard or seen a manager belittle her employees, especially monolingual Spanish speakers. There’s been a few times when I only see one employee working doing a two or three-person job and she has the audacity to yell at her employees to help the customer while she chills on the back of her phone. I have filed a complaint to upper management, such as Victor, about Sonia, and he always assures me they will do something about it, and they don't. He doesn’t even bother to take down my information. Not even Gustavo, who’s Sonia’s boss. And a few weeks ago, I saw one of the only males in the Deli department use the restroom stall while wearing his gloves and apron. I confronted him, and he explained that his manager Sonia wouldn’t believe me since he had told her he removes his gloves. He then dares to go back to work and touch the chicken he was prepping. The same chicken I was looking forward to purchase. That’s exceptionally disgusting and a significant health hazard. I have contacted corporate, and they don’t do anything either. They just say they will look into it. I feel bad for the employees who work here and how some of the upper management take advantage of them.

Came in today and the store was clean and well stocked. The meat department staff greeted us before assisting us with our order of chicken. Including promoting the sale of the chicken and the value price for my budget, which is a plus to make the experience personable. The female checker was eager to provide us with excellent speedy service without making us feel impatient. Thank you for today's shopping experience. In the past I had several complaints that were taken care of on my visits in the store. To the employees working today, keep up the good attitude while on duty, it is appreciated by your customers.

On most occasions, expect a crowd. It's usually pretty busy, especially on weekends. If you go on a Sunday and haven't gone to Church as of yet that day, you'd better have it already on the agenda.. probably will be needing to ask for forgiveness. :-)

Good prices. Steve at checkout is friendly, courteous and helpful. I go early morning and I don't like that the meats are not out at the meat counter. If you're open, you should have all ready to go. Lady at the deli counter refused my request for fresh cut deli meat. Told me to grab a precut/prepackaged bag.

Foods Co has always had an amazing variety of different types of fruits and vegetables in excellent fresh quality and condition and all for very low prices that allow you to save money if you're on a budget and they always offer super sales which are one of the reasons why it's always busy there with plenty of customers.

Venden la carne echada a perder. Cuando llame a comentarles me dijeron que fuera, al dia siguiente me dijeron que no podian hacer nada y se portaron muy groseros.They sell bad seasoned meat, that was clearly contaminated and they sold it like that, I called to let them know and they said to go to the store. Once I got there and showed them the meat they said they could not do anything. Bad place to buy your groceries, I rather buy elsewhere from now on.

I've been shopping here for the past 10 years if not more it's close and convenient to home, prices are fair, store is clean, employees are bilingual, for the most part it's fully stocked, I've had one bad encounter with one employee only, and I purchased a prepackaged item from the meat department that was spoiled I returned it immediately and received a refund for that item. I personally like to do my shopping approximately 2hours prior to closing time. Recently the main entrance was rearranged making it difficult to locate those items.

Foodsco is one of the best places to go grocery shopping especially today they had some really great prices and I come from a different town because the specials they had today were to hard to resist and with a large family and on a tight budget it is worth for me to come here to shop and the atmosphere there is really friendly the employees really go out of there way to accommodate your needs thank you very much Foodsco and employees!

I gave this store such a low score because the condition of the women's bathroom is deplorable; filthy is a better word. If a bathroom is that dirty, it makes me wonder about the clealiness of other unseen areas of the store. Groceries are reasonably priced and the sellection of items is good.

Fast service even when is busy. I like they always have the food, beverage, or ingredient your looking for. I also use the online order deli/bakery when ever I need it. Just choose what food you'll like, time, date, and all set.

This store has their sales ads rite up front & the store is SO big & spread out so items r easily seen & accessable. They also have a clearance section in the back of the store w/some really good deals.

Items tend to be priced a bit lower than elsewhere.Must exercise great caution shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables. A lot of the produce appears to be rejects from other grocery stores.I've witnessed some of their staff pretend they cannot speak English. When the customer walks away, the staff were conversing in perfect English. Sad and unethical.

I really appreciated how large and how much more of a selection this location has compared to Soledad. Soledad is a great location for shopping as well. But this Salinas location really is larger and has a lot more to offer in my opinion. But it's a bit too far for me to drive so unless I'm up in town it's Soledad we go

They were open late on Christmas eve 2018. They were going to close at 10:00 PM. For Christmas eve I got what I needed and was heading home in no time. I was very happy that they stayed open that late.

Staff are helpful and friendly. The produce isn't very great, goes bad quickly so its not so fresh. Prices are reasonable. Its also always crowded too.
