Fresh produce and excellent butcher with even more amazing deals! Best if you're a Spanish speaker as many of the workers speak only Spanish. Only wish we had one closer to Monterey downtown but it's worth a biweekly trek.

I would give this location a 0/5. this place does not deserve to stay in business. heard so much negative things about this place according to former workers. during the pandemic they made their employees suffered. management treated their workers with disrespect . although it is a cheap place to buy things but they still disrespect their employees. this place should go under investigation. meat is always rotten. vegetables are always expired. teresita who claims to be the manager of the meat section is rude.

Very good super market! Don't go there often, but I'm glad I went there today. Their adds are what attracts me. For me they're a little further away. They have always had competitive prices. Very neat! Always busy when I go there and friendly. And on that note, don't be in a hurry! LOL!!

One of the great grocery stores in Salinas and Monterey County. This store features a wide variety of grocery items and produce at unbeatable prices. In fact, the prices at this store, especially when it comes to produce, are rare to find anywhere else in the area. Some of their produce may not be very fresh sometimes though. It's important to choose a good time to visit the store, as it can get very crowded sometimes, specially Sunday afternoon. Saturday is a good time to visit if you want to go on the weekend.

I love this store. This is where I get my fruits, veggies, and fresh made tortillas and bread. In addition, it is very affordable. They have a special on fruits and veggies on Wednesday which I love it.

Great place for deals and cheap items but if you ever need help finding something or an inconvenience happens in the store, don’t expect to get much help. management is absolutely horrible and you’ll most likely be sent back and forth just to not get an answer. the meat department has attitude and front managers are always unresponsive. In one of my visits i found out the tortilleria recycles scraps of tortilla to make new batches and that’s disgusting.

Lines are always long, hit and miss with cashiers, either they are grouchy or really nice, never know what you're going to get. Security guards are usually standing right in the entrance or exit

Don’t buy the milk, the cashier made the biggest deal and he didn’t want to exchange it and called the manager over and she ended up saying it was fine but it was a hassle. Another manager said that the manager that handles the milk doesn’t refrigerate the milk for hours and that’s why they go bad all the time.

I always go toThe super this time i was buying meat I grabbed the #. I wait my turn to be call. Person who was helping the people call the numbers to fast. She was exquiping numbers people. When I approached her she was very rude to me. She said i cannot be waiting for you. When I wait the whole time in line. She want me to Get another number.I ask to speak to the manager. They did not have any management available. Unable to talk to a supervisor or manager. This happened around 11:30 am. I will never come back to shop al super Salinas ca. Very-bad experience. I call no manager was available.

A little packed most of the time, but the prices and quality of the produce here is unbeatable. The meat and cheese is also very affordable. Some other items are a little over-priced, but still cheaper than other places. You also have to try their restaurant there. Really good and well priced.

Some things i can buy, but not really fruit or veggies because they look old. Hate the meat department so i go somewhere else, they always have around 2 or 3 slow, rude workers. It takes a good hour to be helped but they are rude.

Wow wow, only 3 cashiers for a bunch of consumers. They need to hire more personel or pay better to make worth it. Just talk to a person in line and said that he knows someone that used to work here and would send them home after only 4 hrs, and pay was very little. Treat, pay employees well and they will make your store run smoother. Last time i come here.

Deals are great, i always get all my veggies and fruit here, i also love the tortillas being made here, the meet department definitely needs attention with either a better system to take care of customers or more employees, i also like the way the store looks and how crowded it gets definitely Mexico style.

Prices are definitely best amongst other grocery stores. They carry fresh poultry & authentic Mexican food along with cheap fresh fruits & veggies! This is the cheapest place to get a freshly squeezed green or orange juice!

It obvious employees here really don't care about customer service. However you will run into one or two nice cashiers. There is an incredibly nice and helpful gentleman in the meat department. The managers are just there to boss people because they lack tremendously in customer service as well. I ran into a small inconvenience that I wasn't complaining about I just needed help . The main manager was absolutely no help, she then assigned what I'm guessing was a surpervisor to help me, but the young girl was clueless on how to help. I pretty much I had to figure things out myself and guide her. On top of her mugging face .

I would give it more stars but the produce section is horrendous. Lots of stuff looks really bad and some is just not good at all. Unfortunately, this makes me question whether other stuff is fresh in the store.. And obviously that is not something you should have to worry about while grocery shopping.Has a pretty good selection overall. The prices are also fair.

mom loves the place just because of weekly deals on fruits and veggies which is alright, but am noping out of this place, the check out lines are long and crowded. I haven't seen any changes in years; management doesn't really care either it's very crowded and parking is a competition

Wife wanted to stop in at El Super grocery store, just to buy some meat, the meat department were very busy, but wife was able to select the meat she wanted for the bbq this monday for memorial day. We will be bbq together at my inlaws .

Good prices on produce, get n.v really good quality, but depends on seasonal items. Meat department is very busy with good sele tion and prices. Long wait for meat and avoid Wednesday it's super busy. Long waits to check out almost the time. If you are in a hurry, don't go here. Deli is good and great for catering. Parking is a challenge there too.
