This store is the worst. They have the same poor lady working the register all the time. When theres a line around the aisle she will call for back up and NO ONE ever helps. The employees are always filling up balloons and dont take a break from it so they can check out customers. Ive left the line after waiting for 25 min about 3 times . I dont know why a corporate manager wont step on. I know they probably make a lot of money but its not fair for the same lady to have to deal with all the angry customers. The store manager needs extra training .

Store is kinda messy but has lots of variety. My cashier Brenda was very nice and sweet as well as quick. Probably the best dollar tree in salinas out of the bunch

This store has been pretty bad for years. It is always extremely messy. Some aisles are so disheveled and torn apart that you cannot walk down the aisle. You have to go like tight when the store opens to see it clean and organized.

On Sunday, April 30th, 2023, at 8:16am, the Manager couldn’t even be bothered to open up the store, which is supposed to open at 8am. An employee was waiting outside and said that no one was responding to their messages.

The store looks very organized when I had gone in and there were no long lines. I was in and out in 14 minutes. It's very convenient to go into the Dollar Tree store in Salinas and get the things that is needed very seldom when I go there are long lines the store was very organize well kept up today February 18th 2023

Store was closed at 8 asked the male worker standing guard at the door told me they close early on Sundays even though online it says 9pm I wasn’t the only person confused a lot of people were trying to go in as well and I have came on Sundays at this time so this is new please update hours so people plan accordingly thank you

Its’s no longer “The Dollar Tree…”This review has nothing to do with the quality or service. It’s about the corporation’s latest questionable business decision.I’ve always appreciated knowing I could go to any Dollar Tree and dependably find specific items I need at better prices than anywhere else, but my last visit a couple of days ago, every single item I purchased was marked up 25% to $1.25, which is a hefty amount when you consider the large picture.At this point, we can find many of these items at the same (or better) prices at other retailers such as Safeway, Target, etc. where you can use coupons and specials to save even more.So, this venue isn’t the value it was and may suffer the economic price once their loyal customers realize what’s going on.“Dollar Tree” now feels like false advertising.They need to change the name to “The Buck and a Quarter Tree” so everyone knows it’s taking the same path as the “99 Cents Only (and up)” store and “Dollar General.”🙄

I am not a fan of this Dollar Tree. It has better stock in its goods, but it is often messy, trashed and looks run down. It oftens seems like a hurricane stormed through the place. Service is awful too. Often there is only one cashier and the line backs up very quickly. If it wasn't for the wider selection of goods, so wouldn't set foot in here to begin with. They really need to shape up and get it together.

It's a dollar tree, where everything's a dollar. Not too much to say other than the employees look like typical minimum wage employees and that the store really is quite a mess. Now a mess is something that I expect at a budget store like this, but this store was really quite messy, even for a Dollar Tree.I forgot to take photos but I'll post them when I go visit again.

What more can you say about the dollar store? Obviously everything is a dollar. This store in particular is very busy which makes this store is a mess sometimes. We mostly use this store to buy birthday bags, balloons, and those plastic floss toothpicks. Sometimes we'll get a few other things and sometimes we'll go all out on a candy spree to bring into the movies. Overall this store is convenient and a life savor when we need a birthday bag.

this dollar tree has a great selection of art supplies that are easily accessible and usually in-stock by the way there is one young man that works here i think he's a manager but if u don't see what uour looking 4 he will check the back 4 you very helpful 😀

Worst Customer service skills, while in line we heard all about how they were all getting together after work at BWW, when I asked for some balloons the cashier asked someone else to grab them for me and the other person rolled her eyes and said “ we don’t have them” without knowing which ones I wanted? I said never mind i will get them some where else. Tracy got mad because she had customers and wanted to leave by 9pm. First and last time I go in there, I rather drive to the other side of town, thank you.

my trip was wonderful as usual I mean there's so much stuff to choose from the staff is very nice and patient is no one rushing you or bothering you for the matter I love this store this location has very good customer service nowadays that's priceless

Great store to buy for diys and everything else you might need on a daily basis. It can get really busy for time to time, could use a little more maintenance throughout the store but overall good place to shop.

It’s messy and can’t find any products because they’re all scattered on the floor. Nobody seems to clean anytime of the day or at all. Someone needs to be assigned to clean up to least pick up the products off the floor. It makes a better shopping experience and less hazardous.

A lot like 99 Cents store. Almost everything is a dollar. No fresh produce but section with canned goods, some staples and snacks. Lots of cleaning products, party supplies and children's goods. No clothes. Big selection of various kinds of plastic ware. Recmmended.

Great place to go if u don't have enough money.Everything is cheap.My main concern is how unorganized it is. Almost everything is thrown everywhere.Overall great place 8/10.

Went to a wedding in the banquet room. Annie (manager) was great and friendly she did a great job in overseeing the workers there and did great in working with the wedding workers as well.The staff for the most part were friendly.
