Not sure if BL has a different store mgr now or what the problem is, but we were in the store recently & it was a complete mess & looked very trashy. We hadn't been there in a while. When we did go (about once a month up until this spring), the store was always clean, neat, & well organized. It was a pleasure to shop there. But something has happened to the store since the last time we were in there – and it's not good. It was so disorganized and junky looking I thought I must have been in the wrong place. Hope Big Lots can get its act – & store – back together once again so they look like the wonderful place to shop like they were after they moved out to Northridge Mall.

I applied to work there and I keep getting the run around. Spoke to eliseo which I was told it’s the manager and he told me they were hiring to speak to Fidel , called and spoke to Fidel on a Friday and he said let me talk to eliseo call me Tuesday. I called Tuesday and they told me he was gone, spoke to employee Arturo and he said he would relay the message. Wed I didn’t get a call so I figured I call today Thursday . Called today and spoke to Fidel again and again he told me he will talk to eliseo so I asked him are you guys even hiring I don’t wanna keep bugging you and he replied. I’ll call you. So I said , so If you don’t that means it’s a no , and he said yeah ! With a rude tone Fidel was very unprofessional with me I worked for him years back in e alisal and he was a good boss but now he is a different person. Very upsetting

I made a purchase online and I picked it up at the store. I'm never shopping at this store online. 3 days later after picking up my order, there is an additional charge to my debit card. That charge was from items that they cancelled and I never received. When I notified a customer service agent the help I got onchat , she was no help at all . The agent Claire responded with an answer that did not make any sense . I don't recommend this store for online shopping .

I went in and scored on a bunch of dog toys. An employee noticed my hand cart was over flowing so she asked me if I needed a cart and got me one. I asked her if they had a price scanner on the floor because I hate to find out how much stuff is at the checkout. She offered and scanned all my items for me. I noticed my total was higher than it should so I looked at my receipt and noticed that two of the items that she scanned at .87 rang up full price at $5 each. I went back to my awesome cashier and explained to him she had just scanned it minutes before at .87. He called the manager over who questioned me. When I mentioned to him the 75% off sale he looked at me and "then that would make it .90". The girl came over and fixed it all!!! FYI manager, there was two that rang up at $5.00 each TOTALLING $10.00 which makes them $1.25 at 75% . You shouldn't go out of your way to prove a customer is wrong. It's a good thing you have great staff. Who knows how to customer service because you, Mr. Manager DO NOT!!!

With the exception of them charging me twice for an item that I never bought... they were more than willing to take care of it..the store is clean it's got good variety.. and it wasn't busy when I was in there they have lots of Christmas stuff in stock as well

I went to xmas shop.. I had a 20% coupon which was impossible to pull up because store manager said bad internet. Told me to go outside & try I did (3) times! No Luck! I used to do ALL my shopping at old location...MUCH BETTER DEALS...I spent over $500. Every couple months... More clerks for Holidays MOST DEFINITELY! I MISS THOSE DEALS.

Always good finds at reasonable prices! Great spot for home decor! Tons of snacks and drinks. They even have cute clothes all sizes 👌 lots of summer beach toys and water guns ! Storage containers and organizers and even big variety of furniture. Sandals and shoes for kids and adults too in very cute prints and styles 😍. Whole lot of cleaning supplies and hygiene items! Cute cute coffee cups and fake plants for home or office decor 🙌 Def 1 of my fav places to stop and get it all!

This store is alright, hut it's stock feels very limited and at times, very messy and unsorted. It has some nice things here and there, but very little to grab my interest. Their movie selection could be neater and better sorted cause it's an absolute mess, which dissuaded me from looking for much to purchase. Honestly, I prefer when this store was a Toy'R'Us then a Big Lots, but that's just me. Otherwise, this place is average at best. Maybe it'll improve over time.

I am sure the staff is great, but nobody is taking control when kids are climbing all over the beds, which clearly has signs saying not too climb on. I was just off put from buying a mattress since it looked more like a playground then anything else.

The new store is nice. But the prices on some products are not the ones you are paying i got a dawn soap it said 3:30 when they scanned it 3.75 i asked the cashier hey wasn't the soap 3.30 her reply was oh thats the price am getting . I just said well then you guys should remove all prices on the botles because they have price 3.30

Friendly staff. Bathroom can be cleaner. I feel that the prices are slowly increasing just like any other store. Such shame because that was the reasons why I would go to Bigots, the prices were super cheap 😕.

Big Lots is the place to find find good prices on things you don't see at other stores. They have a variety of merchandise. Everything from Food to Furniture. This Big lots has moved to North Salinas at Northridge mall. Its much cleaner and bigger now. Friendly helpful employees. But no pencils. I thought that was odd.

Good selection of items and household items, the staff is very attentive, the only drawback (not all the time) they sometimes fail with availability, in other words the furniture they have on display is not in stock, except for that everything is fine.

I hadn't been here to their new place.My daughter suggested I come and see what Big Lots has.One visit and I was hooked.I found some amazing things and 20% off everything?? You can't beat that.I invite everyone to go see, you will find 1 or 2 or ........more. 😊

Big store, lots of stuff. Food, furniture, clothes etc. Not huge quantities of 1 product but a little bit of everything. What I was looking for they didn't have in the right size so I left empty handed. Fun store. Like an indoor flea market but everything is new.

It is New Years Eve but very little stock imo. Prices about the same as sales. It's been YEARS since I have shopped Big Lots. Used to find better stuff. Disappointed.

Isn’t have a lot of the items we were in search of, as usual, for the Salinas store anyway. Covid or nomCovid, stuff apparently jumps off the shelves or just plain doesn’t get shipped to Stockton the floor. On checkout, no bags (paper or plastic were available or offered) which is quite common here too. All in all for the prices of products it’s a steal.

Nice Big Lots but I still think their old location was much better. That, & also the fact that it seems they used to carry more items in the previous location.
