Brand new store brand new look. It's the biggest Ace Hardware I have ever seen.It's hard to picture the size of this. If you notice in the pictures, there's huge long isles. I didn't even take a picture of all of them.There's always somebody at the counter to help you or make your purchase. And the owner? Yes the owner is active. Remember me every time I enter the store and makes me laugh.The parking lot is huge private parking.It's a little hard to find but if you look at the pictures it'll make it easy. It's right before the christian school or right after the christian school.Okay, I gotta go pot my plants. See you here soon!Peace

This store has been the bread and butter for the local community when it comes to fixing your home or getting a job done. The employees are helpful and the owners really do their best to make each and every customer happy. Much respect to the team that has kept this store running for many years. Friendly and helpful staff. Quick to direct you where you need to be to get whatever you are looking for. It is nice that the staff call you by your name. Excellent value when you need something on a pinch. Convenient located when not have time to visit the big box store location

This is one of three sister stores in Monterey county. This ACE hardware store , the few times that I have been inside that store it's constantly busy.The store has almost everything that you need and if you can't find it there you probably did not need it. When you get a chance go to the store talk to Manny or talk tomorrow or any of the other employees that works there and they will be happy to help you out have a great day

Very Friendly, and yes prices might be maybe one dollar or two more , but the convenience is worth it. Not afraid to ask each other for help on tough questions. Cashiers do seem a bit unattentive never looking directly at you.

9/10 of the staff are helpful and kind, but one bad apple... I hate to drive away from local business, but thanks to the downright pugnacious demeanor of one particular gentleman, I'll just go to Lowe's. I don't need to overpay to be treated poorly.

I have never been treated so rude in a hardware store in all my life! manager grades, harrasses and discriminates against women. I spend a lot of money in hardware stores but will never go back to that store again. I will drive a hundred miles to get what I need if necessary before stepping one foot in their doors!!!

Best stocked most helpful, knowledgable hardware store I've found yet. By FAR the best Ace in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties . These guys have items nobody else does such as the right pressure tank for my well last year, and now the best woodstove repair putty. I shopped all the other ones and I'm very thankful this store is near my Watsonville home. Great job Ace Hardware Prunedale!Seth

If your in a need of parts this is your only option for this area. Not helpful, parts are all mixed up, empty shelves with no one to help. They make you find the prices for bolts at the counter, you even count them yourself. The person at the counter would not wait for me to even get the change in my pocket before checking the next person in line. 3 stars just because they were open, 1 star if there was another place to get parts. Sorry Ace.

Horrible service. I bought some kneepads for work & never used them. I did however open the package to prepare for work, but found some that my relative lent to me. I go to return it and they tell me I needed the box. I go back 2 days later and was told it isn't refundable because it wouldn't "sell" again. After all that running around & dissapoinpment in the end, I have no intention to going back if all they're gonna do is lie to me!!

Great informed staff. Will order anything for you, but they almost always have it. Walk in with something missing screws, bolts, nuts, what ever. Walk out with what you need. Know whats broken but not sure how to fix it.... They got you covered. I live close and always have a project going on. Almost never have to go to that horrible other place.

Great store, very helpful staff and more often than not the prices are much better than Home Depot. I love this store. It's the best Ace store on the central coast.

I came in to buy more Draino for our clogged kitchen sink. The man at the register asked me what the issues were and then he suggested a product that he uses at home and that he highly recommended. It was 3 times the price of Draino, but I took his word that it was the best product for the job. Boy, was he right!..after 2 days of a clogged sink, this product cleared my drain within 15 minutes!!! I cannot thank him enough for his help.the receipt says Mario helped me..thank you Mario!

Unfortunately , they didn't have the bolt I needed this time. Normally they offer a good selection of nuts ,bolts, and everything needed for home projects. Good folks.
