Our first experience in Sisk Veterinary was good. I took my dog for neutering and we had a good experience. However, the second time we scheduled an appointment it was for a Health Check and a CDC rabies certificate that is used for traveling. We made the appointment more than one month in advance and me and my husband called multiple times to confirm this needed to be done. In fact, before scheduling the consultation I showed what form I needed and Dr. Singh said yes they did it. So comes the day of the appointment and the doctor says he cannot do anything for me and I needed a certificate of rabies from the doctor that administered the vaccine. I got this and took it back to him within the hour just for him to deny me services. He wanted to put my dog on more deworming medicine that he didn't need as he recently finished his deworming treatment and he wanted to give him medicine for his ears that he didnt need and charge us $400 when we were told it was going to be around $70. I asked him if he could just do the health check please that he didn't need the medicine but he refused and denied service to me and my dog.This was truly unprofessional and disrespectful. I will never recommend this doctor to anyone. He is rude and this was a very bad experience. He made me waste my morning.

My dog & I met Dr Singh 3 yrs ago as we were passing through Modesto and needed to see a Vet. His care was so effective that I continue to travel to his hospital for all her care, including annual vaccines, despite living in Sacramento. His experience for diagnoses with in-house diagnostics, when necessary, is reputable & thorough. He is jovial with his staff & great with my pet. Dr Singh and his team work hard to be available for our pets; attributes I have utmost gratitude and respect for. For my 7th dog, Hannah Banana, Dr Singh & his colleagues are number 1.

Dr. Singh and his staff are extraordinary. They are professional, caring, passionate about helping animals and keeping their owners informed. I met with Dr. Singh twice and spoke with him couple more times even during Charley's procedure to keep me informed before proceeding. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost and deeply appreciate the fact he didn't overcharge me for his work. His staff also explained post-procedural care and followed up to ensure Charley was doing okay. He bounced back like a puppy and I am so happy he is no longer in pain. Thank you so much, Dr. Singh. I brought my dog into Dr. Singh for her vomiting, having blood in her stool and she was not eating. He quickly examed her and mentioned to his tech that he found lumps on her right side. He ordered X-rays and blood test to be done on her. We left her there for two hours when he called us to come and get her. He told me over the phone as well as in person that she needed to take antinausea medicine and medicine to help bring back her appetite. He also said that they gave her IV as she was low in hydration. When I questioned him about the lumps that he stated about earlier he said it had nothing to do with her problem. When we got her back she was bloated to look almost double her size. I was originally quoted $517 for her exam, xrays and blood work, but when i went to go pay for it, the bill was over $800 for medication that I honestly could have gotten at PetSmart or Costco for cheaper. When the tech called me the next day to check up on my dog, i told them that she has gotten worse, will not eat even though they gave her a medicine that was supposed to increase her appetite. She questioned why I hadnt given her any of the medication and i told them because i wasnt going to force her to take a medicine that she was just going to throw up anyways it was useless because she wasnt even drinking water and was constantly panting and would not move from her bed. I started giving her pedialyte by using a syringe to make sure she stayed hydrated. On Monday, my fiance tried to take back the medication that we didnt even open back and he had the front desk receptionist tell us that the moment it walks out the door it can not be returned. I do not believe that Dr. Signh even came close to my concerns for my dog and only did the basic care for her and charged an arm and a leg for. I will not be returning to this place again, as he is a greedy money hungry person that only cares about what his profit will be at the end of his fiscal year and not the true concerns for the animals that he is taking care of.

My senior pup receives the best care here. Dr. Singh (and his stellar staff) go above and beyond to deliver excellent care. Singh's innovative expertise yields sound judgment that sets him apart from the rest.I am disappointed to see his rating is not five stars; because his services and expertise merit ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hands down. His prices are truly reasonable. If it is important to you that your pet is shown value and thoughtful consideration for its needs, Sisk Veterinary is the place for you.Thank you Dr. Singh and staff.You did what I thought could not be done. Taking care of Sam's decayed teeth even though he has liver problems and we thought he could not be sedated and survive it.

I drove all of the way from Alameda (1.5 hour drive each way) to see Dr. Singh. He is the best vet I have ever met. Kind, compassionate, thorough (incredibly thorough- my cat was missing vaccines I didn't even know about) and the price is the best around. He obviously really cares about animals and wants to keep them healthy and happy. They allowed me to pick up my cat after his surgery later in the day to accommodate my work schedule.Thank you Dr. Singh!

Dr. Singh...I can't EVER imagine another vet to EVER touch my beloved fur babies.He has been a part of my family for the past 16 years. We have had him look at every pet my family and myself have had. The pure compassion and devotion to his work is not comparable to anywhere else. He treats our pets as if they were his own.I recently had my 16 year old Lab Mix pass away. He shared the same amount of sorrow my family and I had. He has been there when we have had to put our animals down.I appreciate the great hustle and great customer service that the staff shows.Prices are reasonable and the plans are awesome.I hope you see Dr. Singh and staff as part of your family as well.

I want to thank Sisk Vet for their kindness and help guiding our family through a very difficult day. It's not easy when one of your pets has got sick and old. They were straightforward and explained the process and gave us all the time we needed to spend with our Baby. Our family was able to FaceTime and at least able to see him and talk to him and make some lasting memories. Those last few moments with him will be forever in our hearts. Thank you for that.

We love our dogs and they are cherished members of our family. We have lived in the area for many years and have gone to several vets in town searching for one that would be a good fit for our pups. We finally found one! Dr. Singh and his staff are the best of the best! He is so thorough, without going overboard, has such a caring demeanor, and is extremely knowledgable. He has cared for our pets as we have gone with them through allergies, skin conditions, blindness, emergency surgery, and even when one of our dear ones crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. In every situation Dr. Singh and his staff have been a Godsend. I am the type of pet mom that asks a TON of questions and he always patiently answers and explains everything. Also, you can tell the rapport between he and his staff is excellent. They treat each other with kindness and seem to be happy to work together. We are so thankful for Dr. Singh and his staff and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone wanting compassionate, skilled, and affordable care for their pets.

If you are looking for a Veterinary Hospital that goes beyond what is expected than look no further. The care and compassion of Dr. Singh and his staff is A++++++. Living in Modesto there are several other Veterinary Hospitals to choose from, but I will drive across town because it is well worth it! I only leave my fur babies in the best hands possible. I do have a complete checklist in what I require when it comes to taking care of my fur babies. Heck, you might as well get a fingerprints and FBI background check because this fur mama doesn't mess around!! Dr. Singh is not in the business just to make a quick buck. He truly cares and will take the time to answer any questions without brushing you off. The prices are very reasonable and they even have a wellness plan that includes so many services that it pays for itself five times over. You can find out about their services, vaccine clinic and plans if you go to their website. Also, if you are a new pet patient they have a coupon for half off your first pet exam on the website. The Dr and Staff were awesome responding back to the questions I had before making an appt. I Had my dog neutered here in November on a Saturday which is convenient for those that don't have the time during the week. The staff was very professional and friendly. They took very good care of my baby he recovered very quickly and is doing great up to this date. They even clipped his gnarly nails while he was under their care. If I could give this place 10 stars I would... I will never take an animal to another vet, Dr. Singh and his vet technicians (Meghan) are absolutely amazing. I am so grateful I found them online (great reviews on yelp), and took my German Shepherd to them. I have never had a vet spend so much time and give such a thorough exam before in my life. I recently found a stray dog who needed surgery to save her eyes and Dr. Singh and his staff were her saving grace. Not only were they supportive and accommodating, but they provided SUCH wonderful care to this sweet stray. If you are looking for an honest, caring, and excellent new vet clinic, this is your place. WORST practice, don't take here unless you want to loose your puppy.I took my puppy in Tuesday AM kept her there until Friday, evening Dr Singh and the other DR are not on the same page at all.I just spent $1,500.00 and the DR has no remorse laughing over the phone. They failed to mention that my puppy might have a liver issue after they did 2nd blood work they stated :the results are going down: never stated they would need to be redone or we need to watch the levels for potential future issues.I decided to keep her instead of the breeder taking her back. They just keep running me back and forth. they allowed my dog to come home Friday knowing her liver levels were still high.I have now put my kiddos through emotional stress after keeping my dog in their care for dour days.The only amazing worker here is Marrisa, she is friendly, attentive, and informational. Any other vet hospital would be lucky to have her.

5 STARS; highly recommend.All last week my family and I were devastated, feeling it was time for a Quality of life check for our 16 year old chihuahua. She had all the signs you can possibly think of. Today I brought jenji home crying HAPPY tears. Dr Singh and his attentive staff SAVED her health , once again. It turned out she had a very bad bacterial infection in her teeth and gums. All Is Well! I can’t imagine if we went somewhere where they didn’t look at every single cause , before giving an ok to Euthanize. We are so happy to have our family dog home and doing well. Dr Singh and his staff are every well educated, attentive and have great manners and care towards not only us but our pets. I was worried about the bill but I feel that the fees were more than Fair!! I’m so happy he did the tests he did to help find jenji a healthier way of life. Thank you Dr Singh & Staff .

Very thorough, caring and humble Vet. Dr. Singh is always the first one to give your pet the absolute best care he can. I had the pleasure of working for him for about a year and during my employment with him he never ceased to impress me with his diverse and very expanded skill set. Moreover, his humility to be honest with everyone he comes into contact with will also impress you. Rather than saying that he knew something or was sure of something that he was not, I watched him take the honest approach and research any information he needed until he was. I also can assure you that he will provide your pets with the outmost care. I would recommend this Vet to anyone and will tell you that your missing out on the best for your pet if you bring them anywhere else.

I was inherited by this doctor when my other vet retired, and he has been excellent. It shows that he cares about the animals, and really knows what he's doing. The office staff are all friendly and very helpful. I have two large dogs and both of them have gone here for about a year. Great place for pets!

We reached out to Sisk Vet roughly a little over a year ago and took our pup in when she wasn't feeling well. We explained to Dr. Singh what we were witnessing and he immediately took her in and ran a few tests. He also ran a few extra to rule out the other options. When the results came back, we found out our dog was born with a birth defect called congenital kidney disease. We were heart broken to find out our baby girl wasn't going to live a full life, but with a kidney diet and weekly fluids, she would live a happy few years.We take her every week and we are always welcomed with respect and cared for right away, even when they're super busy. They know who our dog is and know exactly how to take care of her. At this point, she's basically their dog and part of their vet family. They all know who she is, how she is, and how to be handled.Due to Covid-19, clients do have to wait outside and wait for their dogs to be taken in and because of Covid-19, they are very busy, so be patient.We are more than happy we reached out to Sisk Vet. Dr. Singh always checks in and asks how she's doing. He never hesitates to run any tests to make sure everything is in order for our girl. The staff are nice, sweet, caring, and love what they do. I had just moved to Modesto in the last month and one of my cats was pawing at the side of her face and one of her eyes was starting to droop. I became very afraid and I looked for Fox tails (we have a lot here) but I couldn't see anything.I had no idea how to even choose a new veterinarian, as I had used the same vet where I used to live for 30 years. I went on and I started reading the really positive reviews about Siske veterinary hospital, so even though some of my neighbors recommended another hospital I took my cat, Sprout in.The staff was so kind and understanding and they got me and the very next day at 10 o'clock in the morning. They were welcoming and warm, I felt really good just walking in. The Dr. was very professional and knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable in leaving my 'Fur baby' with him. He had to take a biopsy and remove a mass and since she was out he even had her teeth cleaned.I went and picked her up a few hours later and she has recovered nicely, the biopsy results came back clear!I feel very lucky that I listened to the reviews and chose this team to care for my pets. Thankful for Dr Singh and the assistants here. Our cat was never fixed and about 4 & 1/2 years later our cats uterus got infected. It started off as more timid behavior and always laying around and eventually had lost all appetite and was vomiting. Constantly cleaning herself and we noticed she was leaking. We were very worried bc she stopped eating and drinking all together. Brought her in to get her uturus extracted bc the infection was to far gone. Dr Singh and his assistants have completely turned her around. She has been getting better and better everyday. Now she’s eating on her own and starting to look and act like her old self again. So thankful for this place would definitely recommend 👍🏼👍🏼

On a Sunday morning, my beloved 10 year old dog suddenly began showing major symptoms of gastric torsion, which is one of the most extreme medical emergencies known for dogs. Time is of the essences, as death can come very quickly. I rushed her to Sisk Veterinary Hospital, where Dr. Singh immediately took an x-ray confirming gastric torsion. He began administering IV fluids to stabilize her before beginning emergency surgery. He told me that she most likely had a 50 / 50 chance of surviving surgery, and the follow up care would be very risky, and it might take days to recover. My dog was in very bad shape and I was expecting the worst. I can't even begin to express how thankful I was when Dr. Singh called later that day to let me know that she was alive and well. He was able to rotate her stomach back into alignment and then removed her spleen. He also performed a gastropexy, to help prevent any future gastric torsion. He told me that she could come home later that day. When I returned to the veterinary hospital to get my dog, Dr. Singh thoroughly explained everything to me. He showed me the surgical equipment that he used on her and even showed me her spleen. He spent a great deal of time answering all of my questions, as well as my families questions. Never once did we feel rushed. I would like to emphasize how extremely polite, professional, and kind hearted Dr. Singh was, as well as the other veterinary staff. Dr. Singh asked me to bring her back the following morning for a follow up visit. When I returned Dr. Singh had the biggest smile on his face when he saw how well my dog was doing. I could tell how genuinely he, and his staff members, cared about my dog. Dr. Singh's office called twice the next day to see how my dog was doing. I would also like to say that the price Dr. Singh charged me was exactly how much he had previously estimated. There were no hidden fee's or surprises. This veterinary hospital saved my beloved dog's life in a dire emergency and I am forever grateful.

My dog needed a mass removal and Dr. Singh and his team were so helpful, informative and made me feel very comfortable when I took my BooBoo in. My little chihuahua mix is fully recovered and I'm so thankful for everything they did. Dr. Singh told me everything i had to know about the mass that grew, how to prevent, what to do and just gave me so much information that was very understanding.I use to take my dog to American Pet Hospital, the drs would never inform me about anything. They would just say he needs surgery and when I would ask questions, they would look at me like I'm stupid or something. Never going back to them. I have brought all of my animals to Dr. Singh for care for the past 16 years, from vaccinations and annual check ups to cancer support treatment and spleen removal. Dr. Singh and his wonderful staff have always treated me and my pets like family and I know that they are handled with love, respect and care every time! This is my second review that I have made. I want everyone to read about my experience. Veterinarian Dr.Singh had come to my new 3 month old Chihuahua mix rescue. Raven got injued and her right eye had to be removed. Once again I called around for prices. I'm unemployed with a limited income. He was the only one who offered to spay her and while she is under anesthesia, remove the eyeIt ended up being cheaper this way . I am a die hard pet lover so I know when a person truly cares about animals. Thanks for working with me on this. If you're interested I also wrote a review. About my 15 year old Chihuahua, that he literally saved her live by operating her from piometria. (Infection in her uterus) so I highly recommend getting your pet spayed and neutered take them to see Dr Singh if you live in Modesto California. Heck go there even if you don't live in Modesto it will most likely be cheaper even if you have to drive a little.!! Anything for our right know that you will have your dog or cat for 15 years plus or minus a few, so take care of them when they are Young to avoid expensive surgery's that could of been prevented.
