Do not come here to get snakes. I reserve the snake At 6:30 PM and the next day I came in at 5 After I bought The enclosure and heating pad and everything for the snake. I was told that they hold snakes for 24 hours. But then they let someone else Put a hold on it just like I did but two hours before I came to pick him up. They sold my snake out from underneath me. This is not an honest business. I will never return and I will be sure to tell all my friends and family to not do business with them anymore. They said they couldn't honor my hold because the new guy did it. What joke!!! I'll be sure to update my post weekly to make sure it stays at the top of the list to warn everyone else. If I could give them lower than one star I would. Whoever sits behind the curtain in the back room is a coward. They don't have the guts to come out and talk to me themselves. They sent one of their lackeysto talk to me what a loser and now the owner messaged me thinking that they can remedy the situation. There's no fixing it they sold the snake that i had on HOLD!! I don't care about price or breed or any of that. I care about the snake's personality and I held that snake four times over the course of a couple of days before I put a hold on it. Why in the world would I want to do any kind of business with a company that is as fake and shady and cowardly as them. What kind of human beings and company's sells pets out from underneath people I could understand cars and Material items, but pets. I didn't know it was possible to stoop that low.

This is the place to go if you have a new reptile or have any questions. We just adopted a bearded dragon, and Stephanie helped us out so much, answered all my questions took time to show me around the store and tell me what I needed. It was great.!

Serpentarium was great. They were very knowledgeable and helped our son get started with his first snake. From setting up the snakes terrarium, to how to keep the snake comfortable, and how to handle and feed him, they educated us on a lot. Everything we needed for the snake was readily available from the store. Our complete setup came from the Serpentarium, and we couldn't be happier. They're a bit out of the way for us, coming from Lincoln, but well worth the drive.

Had an issue with my gecko that most vets weren't available for or wanted to charge over $1000 to fix, they solved and fixed the issue in less than an hour for less than $20. They know and care about reptiles, definitely worth looking into to know more about your exotic pet

This is an amazing place to get feeder(crickets, roaches, rats/mice, worms/horn worms, and more!) and equipments/supplies(tanks/enclosures, lamps, plants, and more!) for your invertebrates, reptiles, and feeders. I received great customer service, everyone is amazing at their work! And a special thanks to Dru one of the employees!Got an amazing Tarantula :). If you are looking for scorpions, millipedes, and tarantulas they have some near the entrance of their shop to the left(it will be on the shelf’s).

First time snake owners here. They set us all up and gave our 12 yr old lots of respect and authority. Super knowledgeable and helpful. Offered to answer any questions that may come up as we live 4 hrs away. We were helped by 2 different staff over 2 days and both seemed like experts. Look at this cutie! I'd rather support this niche business than a big pet store. They also are a safe surrender site which is admirable.

Always a great visit. Just added another snake to my collection getting a beautiful hypo red tail boa boy from them. Sale wasn't pushed and all questions were asked before as well as after as I had to call to ask for info like last time fed which they were very helpful with. Can't wait to go back.

Jasmyn was AMAZING! Over the top helpful, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, gracious and KIND! We were pet sitting for our daughter/granddaughter's white tree frog and she wasn't looking well. I don't know much about amphibians, but I knew enough to be concerned. I called and immediately Jasmyn said bring her in, and "we'll do a free health check". She was a rock star in helping us. She was actually an answer to prayer (thank you, Jesus) and a huge blessing, as our frog desperately needed the TLC that Jasmyn provided.We have a whole new healthy frog now (see below)! Thank you, Jasmyn and thank you Serpentarium!

This place is so gross. I stopped going here a few years ago due to the disgusting conditions/smell. I had to breath through my mouth because the smell was so bad. They moved to a smaller space in the same complex so I thought maybe the new environment would smell better. It was worse.Fast forward: I went into the adjacent business for my son’s school project and all I smelled was Serpentatium. I even commented to the cashier how disgusting it was. She said they had tried to get it fixed but couldn’t.EDIT: Had to go here on an emergency basis recently and the stink was still horrific. Go to Aquarium/Reptile Depot if you want a no-gag shopping experience. If you don’t smell the smell here, then I feel sorry for your living conditions.

We just took our newly adopted beardie in for a general health inspection. We got all kinds of advice on care and feeding tips. Even got questions about a lizard we caught in the wild. I have to say, their prices are amazing compared to other stores I've been too. We are very happy, especially with the nail trim. Spike needed that so bad

I was reccomended to go here by a reptile owner friend of mine for my snails. Everyone seemed like an expert in the products being sold and seemed very knowledgeable. I got some moss substrate because I was struggling with humidity and bought them a natural branch to fill up the space and allow them a way to vary the moisture if they don't want to be on the moss all the time. They absolutely LOVED it! When I get a reptile I will definetly get feeders from here!

I love it here. There service is top notch and the workers are VERY knowledgable. The prices a great as well. You can tell they love what they do. I also appreciate the option to gas my feeder mice so it is humane for the mice and my snake is happy to eat. They offer this service free! Even with outside feeder mice.

I brought in one of our dragons to see if they could tell us if it was a male or Female. Tai once again with great service stated it might be a female but to bring it back in couple months since our dragon just turned 1 year old and still young. I would recommend any of The Serpentarium if needing advise with your reptiles. Your always get great customer service and I had a membership for the 4yrs.

GO HERE FOR CRICKETS AND FEEDER INSECTS! Call first to make sure they're in stock though. They have THE BEST prices and go fast. I got my panther chameleon from their location in Lodi, and they were awesome as well. I highly recommend these guys for all your reptile/amphibian needs. They know what they're talking about.

This place is amazing. I have been visiting the serpentarium now for a couple months and have been trying to get a gargoyle gecko since early January. The guys here have helped me out with this search and recently I finally got my newest gecko. This place has such a wide variety of products and animals that I can't see myself going anywhere else. The team's knowledge about reptiles is stellar! Tyler certainly made us newbie bearded dragon owners feel well taken care of & overall we are more comfortable having learned proper vivarium care & feeding schedules. Fantastic place with a knowledgeable staff and an awesome selection of reptiles. I was impressed that they have some exotic reptiles that i normally dont find at stores like this. My personal favorite was the false water cobra they had when I was there! Such a cool snake!

Great place to get a reptile. Great selection now that they move to the new location much better housing available etc probably the best place to go get a reptile here in Sacramento area
