My first choice neighborhood store, high points for convenience. There are usually good supplies of most routine items. Even before the supply chain issues of the pandemic they seem to have supply problems with some items I like. So on big shopping days I always have to plan to go across the street to Walmart, which I hate. I wish the Safeway gas was Top Tier gas

The Starbucks employee was so nice! She was busy on her break and happily fixed a drink they didn't make wrong. Got a sandwich. Both sandwiches were made with love.

I ♥️this Safeway so much! The employees are knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and welcoming. The store is always clean, well stocked and open 24 hours! The parking lot is well lit and has an onsite security officer who keeps the shopping center free from dangerous folks and other assorted criminal types so you can shop any time without worry or fear. This is my go-to place when it comes to buying flowers. They have a huge selection of flowers and fillers and if you don't like what's out, they have others in the back room. The florists also do a great job with putting the arrangement together as well if needed. Always have and always will continue coming back here. Here's a pic of my latest arrangement. Thank you!!

Manager is terrible. He had his worker deny my real ID without looking at me because I had tape on it. I haven’t been under 18 in over 10 years. I was trying to buy medicine. Ridiculous.

I'm usually in shopping for a doordash order during late night. The place is quiet clean and well stocked. The staff are friendly and always helpful if you have any questions.

This is my local Safeway. I've only had one issue here and that's when I was trying to order a baptism cake earlier in the year for my child's celebration. The woman at the bakery said, " We don't make political cakes here." I was shocked and asked if she could repeat what she said because I thought I'd misheard. She repeated herself again this time a bit sheepishly. I wasn't asking for a "political" cake and the fact she doesn't know the difference between politics and religion is really sad. Not everyone in the area mixes politics with religion. That seems to be an issue with some of the locals and I'm a transplant much like many others here. I never had an issue ordering religious cakes in the Bay Area. So I took my business elsewhere to a Mexican bakery in Lincoln. Best decision ever! Those ladies made a great tres leches and knew when Mass would be done to have the cake ready for pickup.

Damn this Safeway is big... Just went there for a tequila purchase And found their last bottle of Fortaleza,Didn't even know they carried it but definitely a good selection. the store is always busy So be patient.

Good place to shop, it’s more expensive yes, but at least you can depend on the quality of produce and meats here hands down, so you get what you pay for. They have an EXCELLENT wine section as well. So go be cheap somewhere else.What this place lacks is a customer service feel. The employees should try to get to know their customers a little more. I’ve been coming in for 2 years now and the produce people make an effort and even know my name, but the cashiers don’t really care as much. Step your game up!Anyways if you wana feel rich and shop here with the granite bay crowd come on in!

Extremely disappointed in my local Safeway at Douglas/Sierra College this past Sat night around 8PM. Cruised by to pick up just one (alcoholic) item and had to utilize the ONE checkout line (as self-checkout is not available for this type of transaction). I was next in line, but the women in front of me was having difficulty with her bankcard so the checker had to keep running her card through and eventually she had to call someone on the phone.By the time the checker called for backup, however, there were probably four to six additional people behind me. When the (young male) checker arrived, instead of glancing to see if I could easily pick-up and bring my items over to the next checkout register, he escorted a women with a full cart of groceries who was maybe fourth in line?The other shoppers simply followed her to the newly opened checkout line without that old world thought to common courtesy of allowing those who have been waiting for the longest to go first....no eye contact, of course.After a few more minutes of waiting for the nagging transaction to go through...the person behind me finally packed up and drifted to the next checkout aisle. I almost yelled over to the new checker to see if I could just pay for this ONE stinking item! I'd pay in cash, whatever.At that moment, I decided to not make a scene (although I felt invisible and in truth could have slammed the bottle down and no one would have noticed). I simply walked out of line, put the bottle down and walked out. My wife is right about customer service at Safeway.....It's not on par with any of the other supermarkets in the area.

MEAT IS FAKE!!! or extremely low quality! Got a ribeye and the meat was completely tasteless to 3 people that were eating it. Got it before and it tasted delicious, now it just tastes lab made like. Never buying meat here again. Trashed most of it after realizing it tasted like nothing. Minimal montreal steak seasoning and olive oil was used to prepare the steak.

Safeway is nice, it’s clean, well-organized. They always have what I need, produce sections are consistently good, esp. for more uncommon fruits. The service is alright, though rarely note-worthy. The biggest problem is the prices. Safeway is WAY too expensive. I’ll go here for things I can’t find elsewhere but any typical grocery needs can be found nearly anywhere else for much cheaper.

The place is your typical grocery store, well stocked and the deli counter is very good too. Nothing bad to say but since they are a full service grocery store they are more expensive than other more discount places to get some of the same products. Staff here always seems.pkeasant, it feels like a local place.

Safeway has friendly people throughout the store. Pharmacy personnel greet me by name as they took the time to learn it. Good produce and meet department. Some of the meet prices are high, but I guess that is everywhere.

Went to Safeway for some early Thanksgiving prep. and was not able to find a particular band cheese in block. I stopped by the deli, and was greeted by Nick, who I asked about the cheese. Nick went to the aisle and was able to help me find the cheese. Super kind employees at this location and great customer service!

This is the best Safeway, that I've ever been to. Selection is amazing, as are the deli and bakery. Staff is fantastic as well. It's a pretty big store too. Always clean, tidy, well stocked, and in order. Easy to find what you need.

Love this Safeway! Wished they always had the gallon jug of Arizona Just Tea in stock. I go in to check on tea inventory and always walk out with something I didnt know I wanted or needed. Great hours, even if it looks like it maybe closed. Friendly, courteous late night staff.

Great customer service, clean and fresh food. Say hi to Dean and Mike when you go in! They are super nice. I love to get some pre ready meat. They are so helpful there. My son misses his cheese guy! Great selection of cheese and we love when they have their stands. We always buy from it. I just wouldn't know how to pair the cheese without it.

I genuinely love Safeway they always have what I want and what I need. I always order birthday cakes from there, their cakes are good, moist, and all around one of the greatest cakes i have ever tasted. They make them however you want and even better. If you don't have the Safeway app I totally recommend it will save you lots of money and give you great deals. They have amazing staff members there, if you are looking for something they will automatically help. I am possibly going to get a job there, yes that's how much I love them. If you want a cake made ask for Leticia because she will make the most beautiful cakes you have ever see. She has been making all of my family's members birthday cake since my 14th birthday. If you ask to do something she will put all of her effort into it and make it better than you will ever think. I hope this review helped and thank you for reading it.

This is my usual supermarket for shopping. It's pretty good. Though sometimes the selection isn't what I'm accustomed to. Sadly, they recently remodeled to make the place look more with the times. In doing so, they rearranged everything in the store, and I have yet to make sense of their decisions on locating their products. Also, the overhead signs that describe what's down each aisle are much smaller and harder to read, especially if you're facing into the sun. I think the remodel was a big mistake.

Well stocked, clean. Friendly staff and Manager. They actually had a plastic travel soap dish, that I was unable to find anywhere else. They also have, Asian food buffet style. Instead of grill style. Update is nothing has changed. Same place, their done with their remodel. Gas is usually less expensive than the one @ Sunrise.Safeway is still there, dropped my blueberries,self checkout probably hates me 🤣😂🤣 Still there,no gas though. Their still working on it

I have liked this store. Ester deserves 5 stars. The deli brought the score down. Went to get fried chicken breasts. They had none at 3:20 pm. Went next to the Chinese food and they have no fried rice. What's up with ? Ester always is great at the register.
